'Hope of the Wicked' reveals greatest deception in modern history

Is there a conspiracy to rule the world?
Is there a master plan to bring America under the spell of a one-world order?
Who are the Bilderbergers and the members of the Council on Foreign Relations and Trilateral Commission? Do they really wield powers over commerce and government around the world?
In "Hope of the Wicked: Master Plan to the Rule the World," Ted Flynn reveals the greatest deception in modern history – the way corporations, foundations and governments are converging to bring about a New World Order.
This is not mere conjecture and speculation. It is 550 pages with 82 photographs and 1,200 footnotes and a strong historical basis to make the case that a global elite is indeed working to end the sovereignty of nations – including the U.S.
Flynn also lays out the utopian dream of the United Nations and shows how its tentacles are now reaching into your life – no matter where you live. He reveals the plans for world taxation and world courts with absolute jurisdiction over every person living on the planet.
-What is the Federal Reserve and who owns it?
-What are the authority and mission of the Federal Emergency Management Agency?
-What is the role of the New Age movement and environmentalism in a world religion?
-What is the real agenda of secret societies and are they real?
It's all covered in "Hope of the Wicked."
And, most important of all, what developments are right around the corner? "Hope of the Wicked" makes a great companion to one of the best-selling books ever in the WND store – "Brotherhood of Darkness" by Dr. Stanley Monteith.

CONSTITUTION OVERTURNED BY HR 6166
Posted by iusbpreface on October 11th, 2006
“They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security.” ~ Benjamin Franklin
Still think America is the ‘Land of the Free’? We’re free to do as we’re told. Effective September 27, American citizens who dissent and protest the unconstitutional practices of the Bush Administration are subject to be labeled ‘enemy combatants’ and indefinitely detained and tortured without due process of law.
While our mass media syndicates were distracting you with the Mark Foley pedophilia scandal, the House discreetly passed House Resolution 6166: The Military Commissions Act of 2006, also known as “the torture bill”. 219 Republicans and 34 Democrats voted to strip basic human and legal rights from U.S. citizens.
More specially, HR 6166 will effectively:
give the President amnesty for committing war crimes.
-provide amnesty to war criminals in the military.
-revoke habeas corpus rights, which allows U.S. military detainees a right to appeal charges.
-render the Geneva Conventions null and void.
-allow the police to search your home without a warrant.
-revoke legal protection from self-incrimination.
-eliminate the idea of rape and sexual assault as torture.
-allow the government to use testimony extracted through torture.
-allow the government to imprison people based on secret evidence without telling them the charges.
-remove the right to cross-examine witnesses.
-allow the records of trials to be kept secret from the public.
-take away the right to a speedy trial.
-enable trials to begin before a thorough investigation.
-allow people to be put on trial in front of a military tribunal, even if they aren’t in the military.
-create a secret committee appointed by Bush and Rumsfeld that has the power to declare any person an enemy combatant’, depriving them of basic human rights, legal rights, or an appeal.
-label a legal resident of the U.S. ‘legal’ and ‘illegal enemy combatant’ subject to indefinite detainment without an appeal.
-label a foreign citizen living in their own country ‘illegal enemy combatant’ subject to indefinite detainment without an appeal.
Clever. The bill both permits the Bush Administration to violate international rules of war and protects them from any repercussions for doing so by prohibiting the court from striking down the entire Act preemptively, and retroactively, ex post facto defines new crimes and punishments. Therefore, this legislation provides amnesty for unreliable WMD and 9/11 data extracted from illegal simulated death-burials in Egypt and the treatment of Guantanamo Bay POWs during 2001-06 which failed to meet Geneva requirements. Can we expect U.N. intervention? Not likely, especially considering the U.S. retains the power to veto.
Anyone who donates to a charity considered by the Bush Administration as a ‘terrorist organization’ could be declared an ‘unlawful enemy combatant’ and imprisoned indefinitely. In times of war and national crisis, the government has targeted immigrants and dissidents. Anyone who speaks out against the government’s policies is subject to the same treatment in our generation’s version of the Alien and Sedition Acts.
The dissidents of today are tomorrow’s political prisoners. Former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer warned Americans, “They better watch what they say, watch what they do.” And if they don’t? No problem. Halliburton’s subsidiary KBR announced on January 24 that it had been awarded a $385 million contingency contract by the Department of Homeland Security to build detention camps in the U.S.
Still not worried? Please to take the time to consider why the Bush Administration felt it necessary to pass HR 6166, destroy our Constitution, and legalize torture and war crimes. The Founding Fathers understood that the biggest threat to a country comes not from an external enemy, but from the government itself. “They hate our freedoms,” President Bush is so fond of saying. With bills such as the USA PATRIOT Act and the Military Commissions Act, doesn’t it make you wonder who the real terrorists are?

Christian clowns remind us that we find God in the funniest places. Or, to paraphrase Jesus: Blessed are the silly for they make people laugh. To the Rev. Jonathan Baker, the 24 folks in Delaware's Merrimakers Clown Ministry are gifted at evoking the holy emotion of laughter at picnics, children's parties and seniors' homes. The clowns are so serious about spreading joy that Baker has commissioned them as a ministry of Wilmington's......

By Peter Popham in Istanbul
Published: 27 November 2006
Pope Benedict was given another warning yesterday of what lies ahead for him in Turkey when more than 20,000 people demonstrated against his coming visit in central Istanbul and urged him to stay at home.
Huge banners stretched across the road screamed "Papa Gelmesin" - "The Pope should not come"- and placards carried caricatures of the Pope and his Christian Orthodox counterpart Bartholomew I scheming together to recreate the Byzantine empire - all signs of the paranoid fear that campaigners against the visit are stirring up.
"The Crusades - what a very peaceful walk!" said one placard; another, "The Pope - the man who stuck out his tongue at the Prophet Mohamed and Islam."
The demonstration, which was peaceful, was the latest in a series of protests against the visit, which begins in Ankara tomorrow. First a man fired a gun outside the Italian consulate in Istanbul and yelled that he wanted to strangle the Pope. Last week, members of the so-called Grey Wolves, the Nationalist Movement Party to which Mehmet Ali Agca, the Turk who tried to assassinate Benedict's predecessor in 1981, belongs, invaded Hagia Sophia, the ancient cathedral-turned-mosque-turned museum in Istanbul, and ostentatiously prayed (which is forbidden) in protest.
The Pope's first visit to a majority Muslim country was never going to be straightforward, but the pontiff made it much more difficult for himself in September when, during an address in the German city of Regensburg, he quoted a 13th-century Byzantine emperor as describing Islam as "evil and inhuman" because it countenanced conversion by the sword. After Ali Bardakoglu, director of Turkey's Department of Religious Affairs, drew attention to the insult, the chorus of anger rose to a crescendo. Ali Bardakoglu is the first important Turk the Pope will meet.
"Pope Benedict XVI ... alienated a billion Muslims with his speech," wrote one Turkish columnist. In Turkey "he will find very few real sympathisers ... and a lot of non-welcomers".
Yesterday's protest was organised by the Sadat ("Happiness") party, an Islamist group from which the party that rules Turkey today, the Justice and Development Party, split away during the 1990s. Today Happiness is a marginal player in Turkish politics, gaining only 3 per cent of votes at the last election. But opponents of the visit comprise a broad coalition, from Islamists to secular nationalists.
The decision by the Prime Minister, Tayyip Erdogan, not to meet the Pope - he will be away at a Nato summit - shows how much of a hot potato the visit has become. The tension and hostility is partly Benedict's fault, but it is largely the result of a very ugly history. When Pope Paul VI visited in 1965, he became the first pope to come to Istanbul in nearly a millennium.
The Crusades, especially the Fourth, during which Crusaders killed, cooked and ate the population of a village in their path, convinced Muslims and Orthodox Christians that the Christians of the West were malign barbarians. The privileges for Christians extracted by the great powers early in the 20th century and plans to divide Turkey between Greeks, French and Italiansconfirmed the opinion.
During his Sunday words to the crowd in St Peter's Square yesterday, the Pope said: "I want to send a cordial greeting to the dear Turkish people, rich in history and culture ... To this people and their leaders I express feelings of esteem and of sincere friendship."
In a last-minute change to the schedule, the Vatican announced that as well as visiting Hagia Sophia, the Pope will also call in on the Blue Mosque nearby, as a gesture of respect. But the Turks are taking no chances: Benedict, they say, will be given the same level of protection that would be given to President Bush.
The Pope opens his Turkish tour tomorrow in the capital, where, after seeing the President, he will have a meeting with Ali Bardakoglu, the first important Muslim to denounce his Regensburg address. Demonstrations are expected in the city, and thousands of riot police are on standby.
The Pope is flying on Wednesday to the place where, according to tradition, St John the Evangelist brought the Virgin Mary in her old age and where she is said to have been assumed into heaven. He will celebrate mass nearby.
Benedict then flies to Istanbul to meet the Greek Orthodox Patriarch, Bartholomew I, whose invitation was the reason for the trip. He will also visit the Blue Mosque.
* HAGIA SOPHIA
The most delicate moment of the visit is on Thursday, when he goes to the ancient church, now a museum, which is regarded as one of the greatest buildings in the world. Many nationalists and Islamists will be watching keenly: if the Pope prays here (which is forbidden), it will confirm their grimmest suspicions about his desire to rebuild the Byzantine empire.

WASHINGTON - The Homeland Security Department will require virtually all air travelers entering the United States after Jan. 23 to show passports — even U.S. citizens.
Until now, U.S. citizens, travelers from Canada and Bermuda, and some travelers from Mexico who have special border-crossing cards for frequent visitors were allowed to show other proofs of identification, such as drivers' licenses or birth certificates.
Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff disclosed the effective date of the initiative in an interview with The Associated Press. The Homeland Security Department was planning to announce the change on Wednesday.
Chertoff said the change was a crucial next step to helping ensure the nation's security.
"Each of these steps raises the bar to an attack. None of this is perfect. None of them is foolproof. But we're always better off when we build higher levels of security," he said.
"Right now, there are 8,000 different state and local entities in the U.S. issuing birth certificates and driver's licenses," Chertoff said. Having to distinguish phony from real in so many different documents "puts an enormous burden on our Customs and Border inspectors," he said.
In a few cases, other documents still may be used for air entry into the U.S. by some frequent travelers between the U.S. and Canada, members of the American military on official business and some U.S. merchant mariners.
Under a separate program, Homeland Security plans to require all travelers entering the U.S. by land or sea, including Americans, to show passports or an alternative security identification card when entering the U.S. starting as early as January 2008.
The Homeland Security Department estimates that about one in four Americans has a passport. Some people have balked at the $97 price tag.
The Sept. 11 Commission said in its report, "For terrorists, travel documents are as important as weapons."
The commission recommended strengthening security of travel documents. A 2004 law passed by Congress mandated the change to require passports as the only acceptable travel document, with few exceptions, but the exact date had been in question.
Canadian officials and some members of Congress from border states have expressed concern that the changes could interfere with travel and commerce.
Chertoff said his agency's data revealed that in September 2006, 90 percent of passengers leaving from Canadian airports had passports. The department estimated that 69 percent of U.S. air travelers to Canada, 58 percent of U.S. travelers to Mexico, and 75 percent of U.S. travelers to the Caribbean hold passports.
"Could James Bond and Q come up with a fake passport?" Chertoff asked, referring to the fictional British spy and his espionage agency's technical genius. Of course, he replied, because "nothing is completely perfect."
Still, he said, with new technology, it is increasingly difficult to forge passports, and having just one document to scrutinize should make inspection easier for both inspectors and travelers.

Profile: Pope Benedict XVI
As a cardinal, Pope Benedict took an uncompromising stance
Pope Benedict XVI was elected in April 2005, after the death of his predecessor Pope John Paul II.
As head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith - once known as the Holy Office of the Inquisition - from 1981 until his election, the former Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger had developed a reputation as a tough theologian.
He campaigned against liberation theology, which had gained ground among priests in Latin America and elsewhere as a means of involving the Church in social activism and human rights issues.
He also described homosexuality as a "tendency" towards an "intrinsic moral evil" and has previously called for pro-choice politicians to be denied Communion.
In his first year in office, he upheld a ban on men with "deep-seated homosexual tendencies" becoming priests, but was said to be considering relaxing the church's ban on condoms to allow their use by people with Aids.
He paid respects to the memory of John Paul II, his much-loved Polish predecessor, calling for his canonisation during a visit to the country that drew vast crowds.
Seventeen months into his Papacy, his quotation of a 14th century Byzantine emperor -who said the Prophet Muhammad had brought the world only "evil and inhuman" things - provoked anger in the Muslim world. The Vatican denied that he had intended to offend Muslims.
Joseph Ratzinger was born into a traditional Bavarian farming family in 1927, although his father was a policeman.
The eighth German to become Pope, he speaks 10 languages and is said to be an accomplished pianist with a preference for Beethoven.
At the age of 14, he joined the Hitler Youth, as was required of young Germans of the time, but was not an enthusiastic member.
His studies at Traunstein seminary were interrupted during World War II when he was drafted into an anti-aircraft unit in Munich.
He deserted the German army towards the end of the war and was briefly held as a prisoner of war by the Allies in 1945.
His supporters say his experiences under the Nazi regime convinced him that the Church had to stand up for truth and freedom.
The Pope's conservative, traditionalist views were intensified by his experiences during the liberal 1960s.
He taught at the University of Bonn from 1959, and in 1966 took a chair in dogmatic theology at the University of Tuebingen.
However, he was appalled at the prevalence of Marxism among his students.
'Abuse of faith'
One incident in particular at Tuebingen, in which student protesters disrupted one of his lectures, seems to have particularly upset him.
In his view, religion was being subordinated to a political ideology that he considered "tyrannical, brutal and cruel".
"That experience made it clear to me that the abuse of faith had to be resisted precisely," he later wrote.
In 1969 he moved to Regensburg University in his native Bavaria - where he would return as Pope to make his controversial remarks on Islam in September 2006 - and eventually rose to become its dean and vice-president.
He was named Cardinal of Munich by Pope Paul VI in 1977.
His appointment as Pope was greeted with some scepticism by Catholic commentators.
"I think if Cardinal Ratzinger was Pope, a large distance could grow between the leadership of the Church and the faith," German commentator Wolfgang Cooper predicted before the result was known.
The Pope is a "scientist" who "prefers intellectual discussions", said Mr Cooper, predicting that many Catholics want priests and bishops "who will touch the hearts".
But John Allen, Vatican correspondent of the National Catholic Reporter, said his first year in office was notable for its continuity.
"There is no discernible drift towards radically conservative figures and there has been no earthquake in either liturgy or doctrine," he said.

Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? And they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.

It's official, the country is insane. It wasn't that long ago that police sold themselves to the public as Peace Officers. Religion used to stay where it belonged, in church. Public school children used to get picked up every morning by big yellow school buses and the only time you'd see a cop in a classroom was if he was someone's Dad on Show and Tell day. Government used to be a group of people who worked for the public's best interests and strictly regulated business and law enforcement to ensure our nation was a safe and sane place to live. All of our national energy and money went into keeping America strong and ensuring a better life for future generations.
Now, the police are paramilitary swat teams with black masks, machine guns and no sense of humor. Religion is demanding that government become an arm of the Church. School buses are gone and kids are on ritalin and prozac and taking dozens of required vaccinations that are known to be deathly dangerous. School shootings have turned campuses into low security prisons with children being searched and watched everywhere, even in the bathroom stalls. And the government has turned into a rich boy's club intent on selling the public interest to foreign elites and making back room deals to achieve global governance and privatize the whole world. Our food is toxic, our air is poisoned, and our water is tainted with chemicals and radiation. People can't afford higher education or health care and when catastrophe hits, the government no longer steps up to help.
We have a twit pro-torture president who shrugs off the Geneva Conventions and a creepy vice president who wants a hundred year war. Elections are fixed, bio-engineered microscopic bugs are making people sick, and corruption is raging in High Office and small business alike. If this isn't full blown insanity, I don't know what is. Well maybe wearing your underwear on your head and gobbling like a turkey while using your hula hoop in the driveway would qualify, but I'm talking about the big picture here.
To prove my point, each of the featured articles this week has utterly surreal elements that are enough to put you off food for a few days, but one of them is not true. It should stick out like a sore thumb but it's no more insane than anything else in the papers these days. See if you can figure out which one is pure fiction. In the mean time, I'm going to go find my old hula hoop, just in time for Thanksgiving. Which reminds me, the pbsBlog.com gang wants to wish YOU a wonderful Thanksgiving, in spite of everything else sucking, and we hope you have a truly enjoyable holiday. If you're all alone that day, grab your choners and meet us out in our driveway if not in person, then in spirit. We'd love to have you.
Cue the Hawaii 5 - O theme music Tink, it's party time!
They tell us that it is the season to be jolly. It is a time of ornaments, red and green decorations, silver bells, holly, mistletoe and colored lights. It is also a time of department store Santas calling out their universal mantra, "Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas." Nearly all of the realm of so-called "Christianity" join in and repeat this same greeting, "Merry Christmas!"
Although we hear these words constantly as they resonate millions of times throughout the land, almost nobody understands what they are really saying. It is the purpose of this tract to take the words, "Merry Christmas" and examine the true meaning and essence of those words.
A true Christian would want to examine everything they say, because Jesus said in Matthew 12:36-37, "But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." We will now set aside all of the customs, glitter and traditions of Christmas, which were taken from pagan witchcraft and popularized by the Roman Catholic Church, and we will focus on the true meaning of the words, "Merry Christmas!"
The word "Merry" is simple to define. It unquestionably means to be happy, joyful and light-hearted. The word "merry" fits into the ambience of laughter and frivolity. This word "merry" by itself is innocent and innocuous enough, but as we will now see, it becomes heinously blasphemous when used with the word "Christmas."
Here let it be noted that most people think that the word, "Christmas" means "the birth of Christ." By definition, it means "death of Christ", and I will prove it by using the World Book Encyclopedia, the Catholic Encyclopedia, and a book entitled, The Mass In Slow Motion.
If you are an honest, sincere and discerning Christian, please read on; if not, you might as well stop right here. The World Book Encyclopedia defines "Christmas" as follows: "The word Christmas comes from "Cristes Maesse", an early English phrase that means "Mass of Christ." (1) It is interesting to note that the word "Mass", as used by the Roman Catholics, has traditionally been rejected by the so-called Protestants, such as Lutherans, Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, Pentecostals and so on. The word "Mass" is strictly a Catholic word and thus, so is "Christ-Mass."
It would stand to reason, that since all of these denominations love and embrace "Christ-Mass", that December 25th is the great homecoming day, when all of the Protestants become Catholic for a day. It would seem that all of the so-called "wayward daughters" of the Romish church return to their mother, the scarlet harlot. Thus, all of the so-called Protestant churches could sing to the Pope that popular song "I'll be home for Christmas."
As previously stated, the word "Mass" in religious usage means a "death sacrifice." The impact of this fact is horrifying and shocking; for when the millions of people are saying, "Merry Christmas", they are literally saying "Merry death of Christ!" Furthermore, when the fat man in the red suit laughs boisterously and says, "Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas", he is mocking and laughing at the suffering and bleeding Saviour, who died for our sins. He does this while parents place their little children into his waiting arms to hear his false promises of gifts that he says he will give them. Consider what you are saying when you say "Merry Christmas."
What is so amusing about our Saviour's painful death? What is so funny? Why is Santa laughing? Why are you going along with it? Your words do count and Satan knows it. Yes, the word "Mass" does mean "death sacrifice", and to cement that fact, we will consider the definition of the inventors of the religious application of the word "Mass." I am looking at page 537 of the Catholic Encyclopedia, which says, "In the Christian law, the supreme sacrifice is that of the Mass." It goes on to say, "The supreme act of worship consists essentially in an offering of a worthy victim to God, the offering made by a proper person, as a priest, the destruction of the victim." (2) Please note carefully the word, "victim" of the Mass. The Latin word for victim is "Hostia" from which the word "host" is derived. The Mass, by definition of those who coined the word, is a sacrifice involving a victim. There is no other meaning for the word "Mass" or "Christ-Mass." On page 110 of a book entitled "The Mass In Slow Motion", we find the following words: "It is only with the consecration that the sacrifice of the Mass is achieved. I have represented the Mass to you, more than once, as a kind of ritual dance." (3)
In essence, the Mass is the ceremonial slaying of Jesus Christ over and over again, followed by the eating of his flesh and the drinking of his blood. The Mass is the death sacrifice, and the "Host" is the victim. This is official Roman Catholic doctrine, and "Christmas" is a word that they invented. Again, I ask, what is so merry about the pain, bleeding, suffering and death of Jesus Christ? Satan has done quite a job of getting millions of so-called "Christians" to blaspheme. What a deceiver he is. Now you know the true meaning of the word "Christmas" or Mass of Christ. There is much more to know about this pagan holiday, and we will be glad to provide you with plenty of evidence that Jesus was not born on December 25th, and that Christmas is not only a lie, but is actually a witches' sabbat called "Yule" in clever disguise. Please contact us at the address below, and for the sake of your soul, flee from idolatry!

"The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the "agentur" of the "Illuminati" between the political Zionists and the leaders of the Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam (the Moslem Arabic World) and political Zionism (the State of Israel) mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile the other nations, once more divided on this issue will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion."
"We shall unleash the nihilists and the atheists and we shall provoke a great social cataclysm which, in all its horror, will show clearly to all nations the effect of absolute atheism, the origin of savagery and of most bloody turmoil. Then, everywhere, the people, forced to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization; and the multitudes, disillusioned with Christianity whose deistic spirits will be from that moment on without direction and leadership, anxious for an ideal but without knowledge where to send its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out into public view; a manifestation which will result from a general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time."

I first became a student of global religious and political trends during the 1980s when I was the Europe and Middle East Trade Specialist for the government of Indiana. My travels took me to over 20 countries where I worked hand-in-hand with U.S. Embassy personnel who were responsible for arranging most of my meetings. Through my contacts at the embassies and in the international business community, I soon discovered that there was a concerted effort underway to establish a one world government. A push was also being launched to unify the world's religions into one collective whole. Various interfaith/New Age meetings were being planned to make this happen. I wrote about these developments in my two books En Route to Global Occupation and The New World Religion in an attempt to warn the world, particularly Christians, of things to come. If we were forewarned we could perhaps become spiritually prepared for the difficult times ahead. As a result of my research, I became fully convinced that terrorism is an important part of the one world agenda. I believe Satan is using it to apply pressure on Western society to get people to go along with a solution that under normal circumstances they would never accept. If humans could be brought to the point where they thought the world is on the verge of destruction, then perhaps they might finally be willing to embrace a one world political/religious system promising to bring peace while solving Earth's many problems. If this conclusion is accurate, then we can be certain that Osama bin Laden and his Taliban supporters are not acting alone. The Al Qaeda network of terrorists is vast and has a large secret support base throughout the Islamic realm and around the world. During my years with the government I discovered that secret societies are a big part of Middle Eastern culture (and have a significant influence in other nations too). The most dominant of these societies is Freemasonry.A prominent Arab-Christian leader in Lebanon once told me that King Assad of Syria was a Mason. He thought that Saddam Hussein was as well, although he could not verify it. Many of the most influential globalists who are pushing the one world agenda are also Masons, including Mikhail Gorbachev. Recently while doing a talk show in California, the host, Dr. Stan Monteith, told me that he now had documentation proving that Gorbachev became a Mason while in England. The fact is, secret societies have an ultimate goal. This is why they exist and why they are secret.* On pages 144-145 of En Route to Global Occupation I wrote about their hidden agenda: "In August 1871 Albert Pike, the head of Scottish Rite Freemasonry… described a distant final war, which he felt would be necessary to usher in the New World Order. According to Pike, this conflict between two future superpowers would be sparked by first igniting a crisis between Islam and Judaism." He went on to state:
We shall unleash the nihilists and the atheists and we shall provoke a great social cataclysm which, in all its horror, will show clearly to all nations the effect of absolute atheism, the origin of savagery and of most bloody turmoil. Then, everywhere, the people, forced to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization; and the multitudes, disillusioned with Christianity whose deistic spirits will be from that moment on without direction and leadership, anxious for an ideal but without knowledge where to send its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out into public view; a manifestation which will result from a general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time.
*As is the case with Muslims, many Masons are naively involved and have no idea of what their order is about at its highest levels.

During an appearance with his wife Barbara on Fox News last night, George Bush senior slammed Internet bloggers for creating an adversarial and ugly climate, echoing the rhetoric of fellow Neo-Cons and the White House itself in trashing the reputation of the world wide web.
HOST: "Why do you think it's gotten so adversarial? Tonight is literacy. Everybody comes in from all different sides and wants to help. It seems like oftentimes in Washington, you know, on something we all want to work towards it's not necessarily so civilized. It's not so pleasant."
H.W. BUSH: "It's true but that's not new really. I mean, you go back in history and you'll find that there was always adversarial politics. There was always gut fighting. And it's probably a little worse now given the electronic media and the bloggers and all these kinds of things."
Establishment kingpins and their cheerleaders have increased their level of vitriolic rhetoric against the Internet in recent months, as legislation in both the U.S. and Europe to regulate, stifle and license the Internet moves forward.
The White House's own recently de-classified strategy for "winning the war on terror" targets Internet conspiracy theories as a recruiting ground for terrorists and threatens to "diminish" their influence.
In addition, the Pentagon recently announced its effort to infiltrate the Internet and propagandize for the war on terror.
In a speech last month, Homeland Security director Michael Chertoff identified the web as a "terror training camp," through which "disaffected people living in the United States" are developing "radical ideologies and potentially violent skills."
Chertoff pledged to dispatch Homeland Security agents to local police departments in order to aid in the apprehension of domestic terrorists who use the Internet as a political tool.
The European Union, led by former Stalinist and potential future British Prime Minister John Reid, has also vowed to shut down "terrorists" who use the Internet to spread propaganda.
In the Fox News interview, Bush senior also reveals that his son the current President refuses to use e mail for fear that the communication would get subpoenaed and the e mails would be used to prove “that you were telling the truth and all this stuff.”

Quite frankly, Americanized Christianity brings me to borderline nausea. The fickleness, the inaccuracy of scripture, the denominationalism, and the all around lukewarm nature of the "Church" is disheartening and concerning. These days, it seems you have to qualify your "Christianity" because saying "I'm a Christian" is really indicitive of nothing. In reality, "Christian" isn't really a term you see in the Bible, however "Follower of Christ" or "Believer in Christ" are. Now more than ever, I can certainly see the logic behind that.
Calling oneself a "Christian" is simply a title (and boy do we all love titles). A good 50% of Americans can call themselves "Christian" without any visible fruit. Moreover, these days, there are people who even believe they were "born" into Christianity, as though it were some gene or bloodline trait. Contrarily, calling oneself a "Follower of Christ" certainly raises the stakes and the standards. This is not merely a title, but a lifestyle that requires action, proof, accountability, and moral standards for living. To put it simply, being a true "Follower of Christ" is neither easy nor popular.
The notion of "mamby-pamby" Christianity suggests a group of people who are calling themselves "Christians" yet selectively choosing their own definitions of what "dying to self" really means. The pansy stuff that accompanies the weak-minded "believers" is troublesome. I find this reality most at work by way of the state of our nation. With key issues on the table like abortion rights and same-sex marriages (to name a few), Christians cannot afford to be fickle on anything. The agnostic and atheist Left is more militant than we are. In this era of "everybody please like me" I fear many people have succumbed to the propaganda of lies that oppose what the Bible says. In attempts to be socially accepted, we have philosophized our way out of just about everything. Discussions like "Is it really a fetus" and "People can't change the fact that they're gay" and "abstinence is unrealistic" are surfacing from the mouths of people who declare that they "Know God". It is becoming vastly clear that we are truly living in the culture of disbelief.
In his excellent post, "The Mystery of Shadowboxing", Avery Tooley uses the words of one of my favorite authors, Stephen L. Carter, as a springboard for good discussion on Christianity in America (shameless self promotion: About two years ago, I had Stephen L. Carter personally give me kudos after he heard me speak, and he also encouraged me in my writing and lecturing, can you imagine?). In Carter's best-seller, The Culture of Disbelief, he writes about America as being a place completely unaccepting and antagonistic towards all things pertaining to Christ. In his post, Avery weighs in on that very subject,
"Not long ago, David Limbaugh wrote a book, Persecution: How Liberals Are Waging War Against Christians that pretty much expressed the same sentiment, although I think that book was written with alarmist intentions and seems too much like victimology for my tastes, but the point is valid. All you really have to do is look at portrayal of President Bush's references to the way in which his faith impacts his decisions. The way mainstream media treats it, you'd think he was trying to enact some Christian version of sharia. But even that can devolve into a partisan argument. How bout the fact that they regularly try to strip the civil rights movement of any references to its Christian philosophical underpinnings? They'll talk all about how Rev. King was influenced by Ghandi, but Jesus? Couple harrumphs and some coughing, and then it's on to the dream. So goes the typical reality in our secularized society. Nowadays, however, we fight to maintain truth in an era of "progressive Christianity". Now understand, by "progressive" I am not referring to the church evolving with the culture (e.g. hip-hop, mass media, women in leadership and singing songs other than dried up hymns), the "progressive" brand to which I am referring are those who are seeking to redefine scripture. You know, the heretics, the ninnies, the wolves in sheep's clothing who try to distort the word of God to fulfill their own fleshly desires. I appreciate that Avery takes it one further to discuss how "the culture of disbelief" has also influenced Christian culture as it moves to be more "progressive".
In a piece I wrote called, "The Cheap Gospel", I discuss this same issue that perturbs me so much. Our wishy-washiness and "tolerant" nature towards the Gospel has opened this country up to all measures of foolishness. There are lives on the line here. To me, it is that serious. People will get offended, but the "followers of Christ" need to come out from their complacent slumber and start telling the truth. Truth is not an ambiguous concept or idea. It is not specific to individuals like New Jersey Governor McGreevey who recently professed his own "truth". Truth is not some trivialized "ideal" or something that just shows up when we light incense, hum songs and act deep. No; Truth is Jesus Christ. Truth is not walking around in flowing robes, always stroking the common opinion either. No. Truth is divisive, and sometimes offensive because it calls for us to make a decision as to how we will live our lives.
I think it is the fear of the confrontational aspect of being a Christian that has given birth to the "mamby-pamby" movement. What is this I'm a Christian with a "little c" ideology? This is not a political party folks, this is a way of life.

Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold of eternal life.

BRETHREN AND FRIENDS, HERE ARE A FEW VERSES FROM THE HOLY SCRIPTURES, WHICH UNEQUIVOCALLY DECLARE THAT THE TRUE SABBATH (SINCE THE GARDEN OF EDEN), HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE SEVENTH DAY.
AND I GAVE THEM MY STATUTES, AND SHEWED THEM MY JUDGMENTS, WHICH IF A MAN DO, HE SHALL EVEN LIVE IN THEM.
MOREOVER ALSO I GAVE THEM, MY SABBATHS, TO BE A SIGN BETWEEN ME AND THEM, THAT THEY MIGHT KNOW THAT I AM THE LORD THAT SANCTIFY THEM.
I AM THE THE LORD YOUR GOD; WALK IN MY STATUTES, AND KEEP MY JUDGMENTS, AND DO THEM;
AND HALLOW MY SABBATHS; AND THEY SHALL BE A SIGN BETWEEN ME AND YOU, THAT THEY MAY KNOW THAT I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD.
EZEKIEL 20: 11&12; 19&20.
THERE ARE THOSE THAT CLAIM THAT THEY KEEP SUNDAY AS THE LORD'S DAY, BECAUSE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST WAS RESURRECTED ON A SUNDAY. TO THOSE WHO SHARE THIS PERSPECTIVE, I POINT OUT THE FOLLOWING VERSES WHERE OUR LORD STATED:
BUT PRAY YE THAT YOUR FLIGHT BE NOT IN THE WINTER, NEITHER ON THE SABBATH DAY:
FOR THEN SHALL BE GREAT TRIBULATION, SUCH AS WAS NOT SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD TO THIS TIME, NO, NOR, EVER SHALL BE.
HEAVEN AND EARTH SHALL PASS AWAY, BUT MY WORDS SHALL NOT PASS AWAY.
MATTHEW 24: 20 & 21; 35.
FOR THE SON OF MAN IS LORD EVEN OF THE SABBATH DAY.
MATTHEW 12: 8.
AND HE SAID UNTO THEM, THE SABBATH WAS MADE FOR MAN, AND NOT MAN FOR THE SABBATH:
THEREFORE THE SON OF MAN IS LORD ALSO OF THE SABBATH.
MARK 2: 27&28.

Same-sex marriage is not the only goal of the gay rights movement. It's becoming clear that another goal is the suppression of Americans' First Amendment right to criticize the gay agenda.
The gay lobby tried a broadside attempt to censor criticism by passing a national "hate crimes" law. Fortunately, Congress didn't pass that law, but gay activists are obviously trying to achieve much the same effect through political pressure and intimidation.
Scott Bloch, the head of the U.S. Office of Special Counsel in the Bush administration, has been targeted for termination because he removed "sexual orientation" from the list of anti-discrimination laws protecting employment at federal agencies. Bloch discovered that his Clinton-appointed predecessor, Elaine Kaplan, had unilaterally inserted "sexual orientation" in the list without any statutory authorization, so he removed it.
The gay lobby retaliated, instigating five investigations against Bloch. After all five cleared him of any wrongdoing, the response by the gay lobby was to initiate a sixth investigation.
Reportedly, Bloch has been told privately to resign, twice suggesting that he might be fired if he doesn't. Letters from supporters caused the White House to back off before the election, but it is apparent that the Bush administration has no stomach for this fight and hopes Bloch will go quietly.
There have actually been very few complaints against the Bush administration about job discrimination against homosexuals. Bush just appointed open homosexual Mark Dybul as U.S. global AIDS coordinator, and when he was sworn in with the rank of ambassador, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice praised his "wonderful family" and referred to his partner's mother as Dybul's "mother-in-law."
Luis Padilla, an employee of a large corporation in Virginia, put this message on the rear window of his pickup truck: "Please, vote for marriage on Nov. 7." His bosses ordered him to remove it because some people said it offended them.
Padilla then parked his truck on what he thought (apparently incorrectly) was outside company property, but he was fired anyway. After a couple of state legislators took up his cause, the company reinstated him.
Robert J. Smith, who served at a small salary as Maryland's representative on the Washington Metro transit board, mentioned his religious views against homosexual conduct during an appearance on a cable television program. Although probably few saw the show, gay activists demanded that he be fired, and Republican Gov. Robert Ehrlich complied.
Michael Campion, a psychologist with the Minneapolis Police Department, was suspended because of his past affiliation with a group critical of the gay lifestyle, despite reports of a good job performance. The city of Springfield, Ill., had previously terminated his services for the same reason. If Americans don't resist such assaults on free speech, we could be headed down the Canadian road. Dozens of postal workers in Vancouver recently refused to deliver mail they called "homophobic."
In Yale University's student newspaper, a columnist recently described that institution as "really, really gay. Like, totally gay." Yet, when one e-mail expressed a dissenting view on Yale's gay pride day, gay activists demanded reprisals against the dissenter.
Middlebury College now invites applicants to indicate if they are gay. The assistant director of admissions explained that gay students bring "a unique quality" to the college, which he said tries hard not "to be too homogeneous." Public schools are a major battleground in the gays' efforts to censor any criticism of their goals or lifestyle. Every year, the National Education Association passes resolutions not only demanding that schools not discriminate against sexual orientation, but also insisting that classroom language be monitored to punish "homophobia" and to "promote 'acceptance' and/or 'respect' instead of 'tolerance'" of the gay lifestyle.
Taking their demands for censorship into the courts, gays have been winning. After Poway High School near San Diego endorsed the gay project called "Day of Silence," the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the school in forbidding student Tyler Harper to wear a T-shirt with the words "Homosexuality is shameful, Romans 1:27."
The dissenting judge pointed out the intolerance of those who claim they want tolerance for minority views. But Judge Stephen Reinhardt, who sided with the school, wrote that Tyler's defenders "still don't get the message."
I am getting the message: For Reinhardt, gay rights means intolerance for free speech.
Clinton apologists once defended his scandalous conduct by saying it was "only about sex." It's increasingly clear that the gay ideology is about far more than sex; it assaults our fundamental right to free speech.

WINTER IN AMERICA by Gil Scott Heron.
From the Indians who welcomed the Pilgrims
To the buffalo who once ruled the plains;
Like the vultures circling beneath the dark clouds,
Looking for the rain/looking for the rain.
From the cities that stagger on the coast lines
In a nation that just can't take much more/
Like the forest buried beneath the highways, never had a chance to grow/never had a chance to grow.
It's winter; winter in America and all of the leaders have been killed or forced away.
It's winter; winter in America and ain't nobody fighting 'cause nobody knows what to save.
The con-stitution was a noble piece of paper; with a Free Society they struggled but they died in vain/
And now Democracy is ragtime on the corner, hoping that it rains/hoping that it rains.
And I've seen robins perched in barren treetops watching last ditch racist marching across the floor
And like the peace signs that melted down in our dreams, never had a chance to grow/never had a chance to grow.
It's winter; winter in America and all the healers done been killed or put in jail.
It's winter; winter in America and ain't nobody fighting 'cause nobody knows what to save.....
People are turning to fables instead of facts – even in the Christian World. In a 2001 Newsweek article "Christian" entertainment products had sales of over $3 billion (and that figure excludes gift wares and Bibles). Christian music had sales of $747 million, or 4.8% market share (compare that to Country music's 10%); Christian movies and video, combined generated $835 million. Christian wares are no longer cloistered in Christian "supply" stores, but available at
Walmart and other national chain-stores. Of course, by now, we've all read about the Christian theme park, Holy Land Experience, in Orlando Christian Wrestling Federation, whose members perform throughout the nation?
Moreover, Christian books (excluding Bibles) sold over $1 billion (sales quadrupling since 1980).
Yet, contrary to expectations, many of these books are not theological tracts, nor even biblically-based self-improvement manuals, but a new, burgeoning category, Christian fiction, the most famous example being the Left Behind books (55 million copies in its "product line" sold since the first book was released in 1995).
So, increasingly Christians are turning to fables instead of facts. Not only are media mongrels learning that evangelical Christianity is ripe for exploitation, so are politicians. If you want to win elections or make money, evangelicals are the group to turn to.
What does this mean? There will be more and more movies, books, products and paraphernalia designed for the "evangelical Christian".
2 Timothy tells us that at the end of time (2 Tim 3:1), many people (so called Christians) would settle for a form of Godliness (2 Tim. 3:5). They would heap up teachers that would feed them sentimental sermons and fables (2 Tim 4:3,4).
Are such teachers and their fables being “heaped up” today? The statistic’s I’ve shared indicate that they are. So if these things are true, and they are – what is the answer? What is the antidote?

O COME, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
forty hears long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

The most fearful threatening ever addressed to mortals is contained in the third angel's message. That must be a terrible sin which calls down the wrath of God unmingled with mercy. Men are not to be left in darkness concerning this important matter; the warning against this sin is to be given to the world before the visitation of God's judgments, that all may know why they are to be inflicted, and have opportunity to escape them.
The Great Controversy (1884) pg. 243 Ellen G. White.
