Didn't Morsi want to suspend the Constitution because of the turmoil?

Well, he thought of it, and the Armed Forces removed Morsi, then suspended the Constitution...

I wonder what role, if any, al Qaeda played in the al-Qāhirah uprising this time around? Al Qaeda and al-Qāhirah (Cairo) sure sound and look similar? Phonetically speaking, of course.
