Pope to Popular Movements: It's not communism, it's the Social Doctrine of the Church

2014-10-28

The Pope met with participants of the World Meeting of Popular Movements that is being held at the Vatican.

"Good morning”
"Good morning”

The participants responded enthusiastically to the Pope's warm greeting.

Pope Francis thanked the presence of these people, who he said, "suffer inequality and exclusion in their very flesh.”

POPE FRANCIS
"This meeting of Popular Movements is a sign, a great sign: you came to place in the presence of God, of the Church, of the people, a reality that is often silenced. The poor not only suffer injustice, they also fight against it!”

The Pope spoke of land, home and work; the three themes of the meeting. He explained that although it may sound like a communist ideal, in reality, it is a claim that is at the heart of the Social Doctrine of the Church.

He spoke on the throwaway culture, referring to abortion as a society that throws away their children before birth because they do not produce.

He also denounced the high cost of food in many places around the world and the waste of food in others.

POPE FRANCIS
"This is a real scandal. Hunger is criminal, food is an inalienable right.”

The Pope said that there is no greater poverty than that doesn't allow someone to obtain work and called for mankind to be placed at the center of the economic system.

For many participants, these words were full of hope and promise.

IGNACIO RAMONET
Director, Le Monde Diplomatique
"The Pope has considered the struggle of these people, his struggle. The Pope has said that, in reality, the message of the Gospel is the foundation of the very struggle of these people.”

JOSÉ ANTONIO VIVES
Plataforma Afectados por la Hipoteca (Spain)
"There is a great contribution by the Pope in assuming the claims, the struggles that we bring to all around the world.”

Pope Francis asked that they continue their struggle "without fanaticism or violence while seeking to resolve tensions.” Before he left, he greeted Bolivian president Evo Morales, who attended the meeting as a representative of the Indigenous people.

The meeting will conclude tomorrow with a vote on a final document that will summarize the proposals discussed.

Romanism the Religion of Human Nature

Pope Leo XIII

*

The Signs of the Times-1894

8. Article Title: Romanism the Religion of Human Nature

There is great need that all who claim to be Bible Christians should take the Scriptures as they read. There is need of arriving at right conclusions as to what the Scriptures mean in their reference to the man of sin, who thought to change times and laws. He had no real power to change the time and the law of God, but he thought himself able to do this work; for he "opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God." He is an imitator of the first great rebel, the originator of sin. In heaven Satan thought to change the laws of God, and for this purpose he changed his character and his position in the heavenly courts, and influenced others until they united with him in the work of rebellion against God; but he did not succeed in changing the law of God. God did not alter or change his form of government to suit Satan's ideas, but made it manifest that the foundation of his government in heaven and earth is as unchangeable as is the throne itself.

When Satan could not induce all the angels to revolt against the law of God, he made the earth the scene of his rebellion, and through the man of sin seeks to carry out his diabolical purpose. Through the Papacy, the Roman power, the man of sin, the purpose of Satan is carried out among men; the law and the time of God are set aside. In this we see that Protestantism is giving encouragement to popery; and false systems of worship, against which our fathers manfully opposed themselves, imperiling even property and life, are fostered and cherished and encouraged to extend and gain wide influence. Protestants do not search their Bibles as they should, and do not heed the warning that has been given concerning the work of the man of sin. The Roman Church claims that the pope is invested with supreme authority over all bishops and pastors, and this claim of supremacy was once denied by Protestants. They took the position that the Bible, and the Bible alone, constituted the rule of faith and doctrine, that the word of God is the only unerring guide for human souls, and that it is unnecessary and harmful to take the words of priests and prelates instead of the word of God.

To the Romanist the Bible is a forbidden book, because it plainly reveals the errors of the Roman system; and whoever searches the Bible with an enlightened understanding, cannot long be in harmony with Romanism. He who searches the Bible to understand the truth, will find no authority in the word of God for the assumption of power on the part of popes and cardinals. There is no word of God that sanctions their assumed superiority or supremacy over their people, as there is no word to sanction the claim that Lucifer made in heaven of superiority over Christ. The claim of the Papacy to superiority is made under the influence of the first great usurper, who so persistently urged his right to supremacy over the host of God. Through the Dark Ages,--that long night of ignorance and superstition,--the claim of the Papacy to superiority and supremacy was conceded by emperors and kings, although God had sanctioned no such concession, and raised up men to dispute the claim, and to break the Romish yoke from the church of God. Through his appointed agencies God summoned the church to reassert her independence, and in the strength of God she stood forth in the liberty wherewith Christ had made her free. She broke away from the papal yoke, and with the word of God in her hand, met the giant evil of Romanism, even as David met Goliath in the name of heaven, using his sling and a few pebblestones. The defier of Israel was slain before the man of faith; and while men cling to the word of the Lord, they cannot affiliate with the great system of error.

The Lord has pronounced a curse upon those who take from or add to the Scriptures. The great I AM has decided what shall constitute the rule of faith and doctrine, and he has designed that the Bible shall be a household book. The church that holds to the word of God is irreconcilably separated from Rome. Protestants were once thus apart from this great church of apostasy, but they have approached more nearly to her, and are still in the path of reconciliation to the Church of Rome. Rome never changes. Her principles have not altered in the least. She has not lessened the breach between herself and Protestants; they have done all the advancing. But what does this argue for the Protestantism of this day? It is the rejection of Bible truth which makes men approach to infidelity. It is a backsliding church that lessens the distance between itself and the Papacy.

It is souls like Luther, Cranmer, Ridley, Hooper, and the thousands of noble men who were martyrs for the truth's sake, who are the true Protestants. They stood as faithful sentinels of truth, declaring that Protestantism is incapable of union with Romanism, but must be as far separated from the principles of the Papacy as is the east from the west. Such advocates of truth could no more harmonize with "the man of sin" than could Christ and his apostles. In earlier ages the righteous felt that it was impossible to affiliate with Rome, and, though their antagonism to this system of error was maintained at risk of property and life, yet they had courage to maintain their separation, and manfully struggled for the truth. Bible truth was dearer to them than wealth, honor, or even life itself. They could not endure to see the truth buried under a mass of superstition and lying sophistry. They took the word of God in their hands, and raised the standard of truth before the people, boldly declaring that which God had revealed unto them through diligent searching of the Bible. They died the cruelest of deaths for their fidelity to God, but by their blood they purchased for us liberties and privileges that many who claim to be Protestants are easily yielding up to the power of evil. But shall we yield up these dearly bought privileges? Shall we offer insult to the God of heaven, and, after he has freed us from the Romish yoke, again place ourselves in bondage to this antichristian power? Shall we prove our degeneracy by signing away our religious liberty, our right to worship God according to the dictates of our own conscience?

The voice of Luther, that echoed in mountains and valleys, that shook Europe as with an earthquake, summoned forth an army of noble apostles of Jesus, and the truth they advocated could not be silenced by fagots, by tortures, by dungeons, by death; and still the voices of the noble army of martyrs are telling us that the Roman power is the predicted apostasy of the last days, the mystery of iniquity which Paul saw beginning to work even in his day. Roman Catholicism is rapidly gaining ground. Popery is on the increase, and those who have turned their ears away from hearing the truth are listening to her delusive fables. Papal chapels, papal colleges, nunneries, and monasteries are on the increase, and the Protestant world seems to be asleep. Protestants are losing the mark of distinction that distinguished them from the world, and they are lessening the distance between themselves and the Roman power. They have turned away their ears from hearing the truth; they have been unwilling to accept light which God shed upon their pathway, and are therefore going into darkness. They speak with contempt of the idea that there will be a revival of the past cruel persecution on the part of Romanists and those who affiliate with them. They do not recognize the fact that the word of God fully predicts such a revival, and will not concede that the people of God in the last days shall suffer persecution, although the Bible says, "The dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."
Popery is the religion of human nature, and the mass of humanity love a doctrine that permits them to commit sin, and yet frees them from its consequences. People must have some form of religion, and this religion, formed by human device, and yet claiming divine authority, suits the carnal mind. Men who think themselves wise and intelligent turn away in pride from the standard of righteousness, the ten commandments, and do not think it is in harmony with their dignity to inquire into the ways of God. Therefore they go into false ways, into forbidden paths, become self-sufficient, self inflated, after the pattern of the pope, not after the pattern of Jesus Christ. They must have the form of religion that has the least requirement of spirituality and self-denial, and as unsanctified human wisdom will not lead them to loathe popery, they are naturally drawn toward its provisions and doctrines. They do not want to walk in the ways of the Lord. They are altogether too much enlightened to seek God prayerfully and humbly, with an intelligent knowledge of his word. Not caring to know the ways of the Lord, their minds are all open to delusions, all ready to accept and believe a lie. They are willing to have the most unreasonable, most inconsistent falsehoods palmed off upon them as truth.

Satan's masterpiece of deception is popery; and while it has been demonstrated that a day of great intellectual darkness was favorable to Romanism, it will also be demonstrated that a day of great intellectual light is also favorable to its power; for the minds of men are concentrated on their own superiority, and do not like to retain God in their knowledge. Rome claims infallibility, and Protestants are following in the same line. They do not desire to search for truth and go on from light to a greater light. They wall themselves in with prejudice, and seem willing to be deceived and to deceive others.

But though the attitude of the churches is discouraging, yet there is no need of being disheartened; for God has a people who will preserve their fidelity to his truth, who will make the Bible, and the Bible alone, their rule of faith and doctrine, who will elevate the standard, and hold aloft the banner on which is inscribed, "The commandments of God and the faith of Jesus." They will value a pure gospel, and make the Bible the foundation of their faith and doctrine.

For such a time as this, when men are casting aside the law of the Lord of hosts, the prayer of David is applicable,--"It is time for thee, Lord, to work; for they have made void thy law." We are coming to a time when almost universal scorn will be heaped upon the law of God, and God's commandment-keeping people will be severely tried; but will they lose their respect for the law of Jehovah because others do not see and realize its binding claims? Let God's commandment-keeping people, like David, reverence God's law in proportion as men cast it aside and heap upon it disrespect and contempt.

'Left a Bible in a hotel room'

Today an American citizen who had been arrested in North Korea for leaving a Bible in a hotel was released from detention.

http://m.christianpost.com/news/american-tourist-arrested-in-north-korea-for-hostile-activities-after-leaving-bible-at-hotel--121089/

The American detainee Jeffrey Fowle, accused of 'anti-state crime', is en route to the U. S.

Isn't it ironic?.. that at the same time.. here in America there is also (a rash of) intolerance to the moral principles contained in the Bible?

  3. http://www.hrc.org/press-releases/entry/federal-lawsuit-filed-to-challenge-mississippi-ban-on-marriage-equality

As time progresses our nation, the last bastion of freedom... especially religious liberty is quickly being supplanted with a NWO-politically correct, new intolerant... everything goes immorality which uses force to promote its values.
Isn't it peculiar?
This newfangled decadent movement shares many of the same tactics used all over the world by anarchists, socialists, and the prolific Jesuits;  whose credo 'the end justifies the means', and by any means necessary', Ordo ab Chao, and Hegelian Dialectics exemplify the diabolical paradigm shift we are seeing take place in our once called 'land of the free'.

In closing, I wonder:

How much longer will it be  before Bibles are banned in America?  And, possessing a Bible is a criminal offense?

Any day now.  As prophesied in the Bible.

Idaho Pastors Face Jail Time, Thousands in Fines for Not Performing Gay Weddings

BY ANUGRAH KUMAR , CHRISTIAN POST CONTRIBUTOR

A same-sex couple marries in New York, June 20, 2012.

Two ordained Christian pastors in Idaho have filed a federal lawsuit and a motion for temporarily restraining Coeur d'Alene city officials from forcing them to perform same-sex wedding ceremonies or face prosecution for violating "non-discrimination" laws.

Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys filed the lawsuit and the motion on behalf of Donald Knapp and his wife, Evelyn, who run Hitching Post Wedding Chapel and have been required by city officials to perform gay ceremonies or face months in jail and/or thousands of dollars in fines.

The city says its non-discrimination ordinance requires them to perform same-sex wedding ceremonies because the courts have overridden Idaho's voter-approved constitutional amendment that affirmed marriage as the union of a man and a woman.

"The government should not force ordained ministers to act contrary to their faith under threat of jail time and criminal fines," ADF Senior Legal Counsel Jeremy Tedesco said in a statement.

"Many have denied that pastors would ever be forced to perform ceremonies that are completely at odds with their faith, but that's what is happening here — and it's happened this quickly," Tedesco added. "The city is on seriously flawed legal ground, and our lawsuit intends to ensure that this couple's freedom to adhere to their own faith as pastors is protected just as the First Amendment intended."

The city is "unconstitutionally coercing" the Knapps to perform same-sex wedding ceremonies "in violation of their religious beliefs, their ordination vows, and their consciences," the lawsuit states.

The couple, both in their 60s, can either violate their religious convictions and ministerial vows by performing gay wedding ceremonies or follow their religious convictions and vows by declining to perform such ceremonies and face up to 180 days in jail and up to $1,000 in fines, it adds.

"Worse, each day the Knapps decline to perform a requested same-sex wedding ceremony, they commit a separate and distinct misdemeanor, subject to the same penalties. Thus, if the Knapps decline a same-sex wedding ceremony for just one week, they risk going to jail for over three years and being fined $7,000," the lawsuit explains.

"The government exists to protect and respect our freedoms, not attack them," Tedesco underlined. "The city cannot erase these fundamental freedoms and replace them with government coercion and intolerance."

It seems the city expects ordained pastors to "flip a switch and turn off all faithfulness to their God and their vows," ADF Legal Counsel Jonathan Scruggs said. "The U.S. Constitution as well as federal and state law clearly stand against that. The city cannot mandate across-the-board conformity to its interpretation of a city ordinance in utter disregard for the guaranteed freedoms Americans treasure in our society."

Compelling the couple to "speak words in ceremonies that they think are immoral is an unconstitutional speech compulsion," Eugene Volokh, the Gary T. Schwartz Professor of Law at the UCLA School of Law, wrote in an op-ed piece on the case for The Washington Post.

"Given that the Free Speech Clause bars the government from requiring public school students to say the pledge of allegiance, or even from requiring drivers to display a slogan on their license plates, the government can't require ministers — or other private citizens — to speak the words in a ceremony, on pain of either having to close their business or face fines and jail time."

Houston Pastor Subpoenas Shows Extremism Already on the Shores of America

Pastors around the country saw an unthinkable scenario play out in America last week—one many never thought they'd see in their lifetime. In a country built on freedom, five pastors in Houston were served subpoenas, and attorneys demanded the submission of sermon notes and conversations with congregation members relating to homosexuality or transgenderism.

Sam Rohrer, a longtime legislator and president of American Pastors Network, says the recent news out of Houston proves there are three distinct extreme movements happening simultaneously in America—all aimed at stripping freedom of religion and freedom of speech from Christians.

"This disturbing news about our fellow pastors in Houston has far-reaching implications," Rohrer said. "I see three sectors of the American culture, which by their own actions, are demonstrating hatred toward God, Christianity, Jesus Christ, religious freedom, morality, decency, the Rule of Law and the Constitution.

"While their intentions and goals are different, the extreme tactics and messaging of Islam, Communism/Marxism/atheism and the well-organized, well-funded homosexual agenda have frightening similarities: all demand agreement with them, or else. This is where political correctness and forsaking God has brought this nation. It's time that all those who would not subscribe to the ideologies of these three groups stand together, or we will hang separately.

"The issue in Houston began last year, when the city elected its first openly lesbian mayor. This spring, Mayor Annise Parker and two City Council members pushed an ordinance that gave special rights to homosexuals and the transgender individuals. The Houston Equal Rights Ordinance (HERO) allowed men to use women's restrooms and vice versa, all in the name of 'equal rights,'" he added.

"The people of Houston protested and gathered more than 50,000 signatures on a petition opposing the ordinance—well over double the number necessary to put the issue in front of voters. But Parker and the Council threw out the petition, citing irregularities. The mayor and the city are facing a lawsuit over the ordinance, and while fighting it, attorneys subpoenaed five pastors for their sermon notes dealing with homosexuality, gender identity or Parker herself. Last week, Parker admitted that the subpoenas may have been 'overly broad,' but they have yet to be recalled.

"While the issue in this case is homosexuality," Rohrer continued, "the underlying philosophy of thought policing is exactly the same as what we see with Islamic Sharia law. In each case, dissent is not permissible. This is yet another reason Sharia law is incompatible with our U.S. Constitution. Under our Constitution, religious leaders are free to teach against Christianity, but Sharia law would mean pastors would be targeted for preaching Christ. And already, this is happening, as pastors are facing pressure by groups who have their own extreme agendas."

How long will it be, Rohrer asked, before pastors will be quieted about educating their churches on the dangers of the infiltration of Islam and Sharia Law in America? One pastor was already censored in August when his videotaped sermon on ISIS was removed from YouTube and his account was frozen. YouTube has since reversed its ban on Pastor Daniel Ausbun of First Baptist Church in Moreland, Georgia, and his account is live again.

Alliance Defending Freedom is helping the Houston pastors, and one of its attorneys, Christina Holcomb, said in a statement that "political and social commentary is not a crime. It is protected by the First Amendment."

Post Bank SDAs may skip work on Sabbath

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2014 - 00:00 -- BY CAROLE MAINA

LOST BATTLE: Kenya Post Bank building in Nairobi CBD.Photo/File

THREE Seventh Day Adventist Church members employed by a bank have won a battle after the High Court ruled that their rights were violated by the employer compelling them to work on Saturdays.

Prisca Kemboi, Grace Osoro and Kennedy Tai, who work for the Kenya Post Office Savings Bank, had been accused and each surcharged more than Sh20,000 for absconding duty on Saturday.

Yesterday, Justice Linet Ndolo of the Industrial Court ruled that the bank's action was in violation of their right to observe their day of worship.

The judge directed Post Bank to review its policy on hours of work to accommodate all SDAs' rights to observe their day of worship on Saturday.

Ndolo further banned the bank from taking disciplinary action against any SDA for skipping work on Saturday.

“Matters of conscience and religion are uniquely personal and for an employer to simply insist that its employees must report to work on Saturday and ignore their day of worship is to miss the point,” she ruled.

Among the fundamental tenets of the SDA faith is the observance of the hours between sunset on Friday and sunset on Saturday as a day of worship.

Before, the three had not been required to work on Saturdays.

The court heard that the bank had generally allowed arrangements such as working through the lunch break, working extra hours in the evenings and on Sundays to compensate for the half day work hours that they did not serve on Saturdays.

However, the bank recently cancelled the arrangements and compelled the three to work on Saturdays.

When they failed to do so, the bank instituted disciplinary proceedings and warned that failure to observe official working hours would lead to more severe disciplinary action.

Their appeal against the decision was rejected.

It was the petitioner’s argument that the bank's actions was in contravention of the constitution, which guarantees them freedom of conscience, religion and belief and equality and freedom from discrimination.

The three accused the bank of favouring the Islamic faith, whose worshipers are allowed to be absent from work on Fridays to observe their day of worship.

In response, bank’s company secretary Mercy Mbijiwe said the three had accepted their responsibilities with full knowledge and understanding of the duties and especially the requirement to work six days a week.

She maintained that Saturday is an official working day for all its employees and what the three were seeking is to be given preferential treatment at the expense of others.

The bank said granting orders in favour of the three would open a pandora's box where employees of diverse religions will insist on taking time off to observe their various days of worship.

In the judgment, Justice Ndolo said an employee who is denied the opportunity to observe their day of worship will not be productive.

"A human resource policy that does not accommodate the unique spiritual needs of employees is unreasonable," she ruled.

SCOTUS GRANTS WORKPLACE RELIGIOUS DISCRIMINATION CASE SUPPORTED BY ADVENTISTS

CHURCH FILED AMICUS BRIEF SUPPORTING MUSLIM WOMAN WEARING HIJAB

October 02, 2014 | Silver Spring, Maryland, United States | Ansel Oliver

The Supreme Court of the United States today accepted its first workplace religious freedom case in nearly 30 years, one that Seventh-day Adventists and other faith groups had urged the nation’s top court to grant.

The case, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission vs. Abercrombie & Fitch Stores, Inc., involves a Muslim woman who was denied a job because her hijab—a head covering—violated corporate policy. Adventist feared that a ruling by a lower court could eroded workplace religious freedom rights, including those of Adventists who choose not to work on Saturday, the biblical Sabbath.

The Adventist Church in August filed an amicus brief, or “friend-of-the-court” brief, joined by seven other faith groups urging the Supreme court to hear the case.

At issue, according to Church legal counselors, is Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, which obligates employers to take steps to “reasonably accommodate” a prospective employee’s “religious observance or practice.”

“We’re hopeful the Supreme Court will take a friendly view toward Title VII and realize its importance, specifically the broad protection that the law intended,” said Todd McFarland, associate general counsel for the Adventist world church.

A date for oral argument has yet to be scheduled.

The case stems from a 2008 incident in which Samantha Elauf wore a hijab when applying for a sales position at an Abercrombie & Fitch store in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After a manager confirmed with a supervisor that Elauf’s headwear violated store policy, she was deemed ineligible for hire without discussion of religious accommodation.

Seventh-Day Adventists To Vote On Women's Ordination In 2015

Religion News Service | By Adelle M. Banks
Posted: 10/19/2014 8:14 am EDT Updated: 10/19/2014 8:59 am EDT

SILVER SPRING, Md. (RNS) Seventh-day Adventists opted for a middle-way approach on the divisive issue of women’s ordination on Tuesday (Oct. 14), kicking the question to next year’s worldwide meeting without taking a firm stance either for or against women’s ordination.

Next year’s debate will come nearly 100 years after the death of Adventist matriarch Ellen White and could settle decades of disagreement over whether women should be allowed to be ordained in the 18 million-member church she co-founded.

The church’s Annual Council voted to refer the matter to the 2015 General Conference Session in San Antonio. Under the proposal, regional church bodies would be able to decide whether to ordain women pastors.

“Is it acceptable for division executive committees, as they may deem it appropriate in their territories, to make provision for the ordination of women to the gospel ministry?” is the question that will be asked at the 2015 worldwide gathering in Texas.

Tuesday’s 243-44 vote marks the latest step in a debate that has divided the denomination, which time and again has voted to not permit women’s ordination.

Despite the churchwide ban on ordaining women, several U.S. regional groups have voted for women to be ordained. The Adventists’ Southeastern California Conference elected a female president, and several of the church’s 13 worldwide divisions have approved theological reviews suggesting that women’s ordination should be widely accepted.

Women pastors have often held a “commissioned” credential without being formally ordained.
More than 500 people attending Tuesday’s meeting at church headquarters in Silver Spring heard both sides of the issue after a task force spent two years studying theological questions about ordination.

Artur Stele, who chaired the Theology of Ordination Study Committee, said the 106-member panel gained a consensus on the theology of ordination but not on whether women should be ordained.

“If someone has made up his mind or her mind, it is impossible to change it,” he said. “Very, very little change took place. This really reminds me of our need to be open for God’s guidance.”

The committee outlined options ranging from outright prohibition to allowing women’s ordination in some regional bodies where it is deemed “appropriate” but not forcing any individual pastor or congregation “to support such diversity.”

Stele, along with other speakers, said the church cannot keep pushing off a final decision.

“Then the task would be an eternal task,” he said. “Even when Jesus would come we would still be in the final sections of the report.”

SDA President Ted N.C. Wilson said the 127-page committee report was endorsed by an array of church leaders. But, in an attempt to move toward a final resolution, those officers also recommended that a question be brought to the 2015 meeting “that is not a weighted question one way or another,” Wilson said.

For hours, the delegates debated whether the question was unbiased, should be changed or would split the church.

Dan Jackson, who heads the Adventists’ North American Division, supports women clergy and said “we will not break the church if individual divisions have the right to ordain women.”

Alberto C. Gulfan Jr., president of the Southern Asia-Pacific Division, expressed his appreciation for how women serve in many evangelistic and educational roles — including “Sabbath school superintendents” — but said his division has not affirmed their ordination as pastors. He, too, wants a final vote by the General Conference delegates.

“We are also supporting this recommendation to bring this to the General Conference in session and let the world church decide on the issue once and for all,” he said.

Comment:

Here's another gateway to the cashless society.

What will happen when all money becomes obsolete? And all money transactions are done with smartphones?

If your phone's battery is dead how will you be able to buy?  Or, if you forget your password how will you gain access to your funds?

For those needing confirmation that Bible prophecy comes to pass, here's more proof.  A microchip is not needed to impose the restrictive law forbidding the faithful the means of buying and selling... This Apple platform will be used by Visa, eventually MasterCard;  Afterwards America Express and Discover...  Soon banks will provide their account holders to access their bank checking through their smartphones and conduct monetary transactions replacing ATM cards.  BTW, this type of payment system is already being used in Asia and Africa, where purchases are made with smartphones.  Prophecy is being fulfilled yet again.

Nearing the End

Day after day is passing into eternity, bringing us nearer to the close of probation. As never before we must pray for the Holy Spirit to be more abundantly bestowed upon us, and we must look for its sanctifying influence to come upon the workers, that those for whom they labor may know that they have been with Jesus and have learned of Him.

We need spiritual eyesight, that we may see the designs of the enemy, and as faithful watchmen proclaim the danger. We need power from above, that we may understand, as far as the human mind can, the great themes of Christianity and their far-reaching principles.

Those who are under the influence of the Spirit of God will not be fanatical, but calm and steadfast, free from extravagance in thought, word, or deed. Amid the confusion of delusive doctrines, the Spirit of God will be a guide and a shield to those who have not resisted the evidences of truth, silencing every other voice but that which comes from Him who is the truth.

We are living in the last days, when error of a most deceptive character is accepted and believed, while truth is discarded. The Lord will hold both ministers and people responsible for the light shining upon them. He calls upon us to work diligently in gathering up the jewels of truth, and placing them in the framework of the gospel. In all their divine beauty they are to shine forth in the moral darkness of the world. This cannot be accomplished without the aid of the Holy Spirit, but with this aid we can do all things. When we are endowed with the Spirit, we take hold by faith of infinite power. There is nothing lost of that which comes from God. The Saviour of the world sends His messages to the soul, that the darkness of error may be dispelled. The work of the Spirit is immeasurably great. It is from this source that power and efficiency come to the worker for God.

Rockefeller Foundation’s Futurist Paper Details ‘Ebola Plot’

OCTOBER 8, 2014 BY
21st Century Wire says…

It’s the stuff of Sci-Fi horror, and it’s no longer confined to Hollywood…

While elite US and European families like the Rockefellers, along with their dynastic underlings like Bill Gates (image, above) continue their obsession with over-population, while investing heavily in vaccines and dispensaries in the Third World, terms continue to become blurred by evermore deceptive labeling of seemingly artificial threats:

“Other lines of current immunological contraceptive research continue to seek what, during the 1930s, Max Mason of the Rockefeller Foundation called “anti-hormones”: vaccines to block hormones needed for very early pregnancy and a vaccine to block the hormone needed for the surface of the egg to function properly.”

Considering current events, this should be a subject of concern to the public at large…

The article below, by author Shepard Ambellas, looks at this influential US foundation/think tank’s idea, or future scenario where a ‘New World’ is be formed following a major biological pandemic. The prestigious Rockefeller Foundation appears to have already mapped out our future for us:

“The pandemic also had a deadly effect on economies: international mobility of both people and goods screeched to a halt, debilitating industries like tourism and breaking global supply chains.”

The present Ebola scare is fast fitting perfectly into Rockefeller’s ‘Flu pandemic’ mind-scaping exercise. As 21WIRE reported last week, the US is setting the pace for hyping the Ebola scare, but at the same time helping to conceal the true nature and the lab-based pedigree of this latest deadly outbreak in West Africa. When you combine this with this with traditional Rockefeller funding and support for global government and the eugenics agenda, it’s not hard to see how a pandemic like Ebola could help to fast-track long-term goals and objectives of the Establishment’s family-owned cartels.

The naysayers might be shocked at the possibility of a Big Pharma Ebola, or other pandemic conspiracy, but it would be naive to think that there’s not a profit motive at work here.

Margaret Sanger (1883-1966), founder of Planned Parenthood.Eugenics is based the idea that people or races deemed inferior to western Europeans, and even the poor European underclasses, should be gradually culled in what advocates call ‘population control’. Sadly, eugenics, or neoeugenics thinking is still very prevalent among elites in Europe and North America who consider themselves the rightful rulers of a planetary fifedom, and many critics have pointed to foundations and foundation-funded racist roots of organizations like Planned Parenthood, and many others, as being the main instruments of this toxic social engineering agenda. Author Aaron Dykes reports in detail here:

“Following World War II, Eugenics was re-branded to cast of its associations with the Nazis, and emerged, as it were, in the form of such social policy topics as “population control,” “family planning,” abortion/Planned Parenthood, health care, various types of genetics, even laced in between such screeds as global warming/climate change – which leads to arguments about reducing the burden of over-population upon the earth.”

During a TED talk in 2010, software billionaire and vaccine magnate Bill Gates publicly alluded his preferences when it comes to depopulation:

“The world today has 6.8 billion people… that’s headed up to about 9 billion. Now if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we could lower that by perhaps 10 or 15 percent.”

Already, US authorities are rolling out Ebola screening for passengers on all US flights, and a recent case in Spain has sparked greater calls to ban any flights from West Africa to Europe and North America. Many will applaud authorities for their vigilance against a potentially deadly pandemic, but events take on another dimension of concern when viewed in the context of elite institution predictive reports, like “Scenarios for the Future of Technology and International Development”, by the Rockefeller Foundation.

Rockefeller Foundation fictional scenario depicts pandemic to be used for “top-down government control”

Current Ebola outbreak predicted, fictionalized as “flu”

By Shepard Ambellas

Intellihub.com
A Rockefeller Foundation white paper published in May of 2010 titled, Scenarios for the Future of Technology and International Development, takes a look at hypothetical future scenarios which may be used to benefit privy globalist corporations, businessmen and organizations at a later time.

Shockingly published in the Scenario Narratives section on page 18, titled Lock Step, the Rockefeller Foundation nearly hit the nail on the head with their futuristic and fictitious scenario. I mean what are the chances? Come on. It literally follows lockstep.

An excerpt from page 18 reads:

“In 2012, the pandemic that the world had been anticipating for years finally hit. Unlike 2009’s H1N1, this new influenza strain originating from wild geese was extremely virulent and deadly. Even the most pandemic-prepared nations were quickly overwhelmed when the virus streaked around the world, infecting nearly 20 percent of the global population and killing 8 million in just seven months, the majority of them healthy young adults. The pandemic also had a deadly effect on economies: international mobility of both people and goods screeched to a halt, debilitating industries like tourism and breaking global supply chains. Even locally, normally bustling shops and office buildings sat empty for months, devoid of both employees and customers.

The pandemic blanketed the planet though disproportionate numbers died in Africa, Southeast Asia, and Central America, where the virus spread like wildfire in the absence of official containment protocols. But even in developed countries, containment was a challenge. The United States’s initial policy of “strongly discouraging” citizens from flying proved deadly in its leniency, accelerating the spread of the virus not just within the U.S. but across borders. However, a few countries did fare better China in particular. The Chinese government’s quick imposition and enforcement of mandatory quarantine for all citizens, as well as its instant and near-hermetic sealing off of all borders, saved millions of lives, stopping the spread of the virus far earlier than in other countries and enabling a swifter post-pandemic recovery.”

Basically, the publication is insinuating that a new world will be formed after a pandemic strikes, allowing “top-down government control” and “more authoritarian leadership”. And you know what? They may not be that far off.

The white paper goes on to fantasize how the Chinese government best dealt with the pandemic as their quarantine and forced detention methods were stringent.

African-American Vegetarians have better Health

African-American Vegetarians have better Health · August 01, 2014

A recent study at Loma Linda University showed that African-American vegetarians are at lower risk of heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure. The study, which was part of the University’s long-term research on Seventh-day Adventists, was done on a range of Adventists from strict vegetarians to those who eat meat.

The findings revealed that among black vegetarians there is a nearly 50 percent lower risk of high blood pressure, and more than 40 percent less likelihood of obesity. Up until the last 10-15 years, most studies were primarily focused on white males. This study revealed that the same effects of lifestyle differences are seen in more diverse ethnicities.

While the results of this study are unsurprising, it is further confirmation that the vegetarian lifestyle leads to better health. The study also revealed that there is little difference between those who ate a little meat or only fish and people who ate meat at every meal.

Grains, fruits, nuts, and vegetables constitute the diet chosen for us by our Creator. These foods, prepared in as simple and natural a manner as possible, are the most healthful and nourishing. They impart a strength, a power of endurance, and a vigor of intellect that are not afforded by a more complex and stimulating diet. Ministry of Healing, page 296

Prime Minister Tony Abbott wants to set up a "red card" system to stop "hate preachers" getting visas to come to Australia.

Islamic group Hizb ut-Tahrir has planned to hold a public lecture in Sydney on Friday about the US-led military action in Iraq and Syria.

The lecture, entitled The War To End The Blessed Revolution, will focus on the West's role in attacking the "noble Syrian revolution".

"There's no point in importing troublemakers from overseas to stir people up," Mr Abbott told Macquarie Radio.

"The thing I do want to do swiftly ... is put in place a system whereby these preachers of hate - such as the individual I believe is the top drawer speaker on Friday night - these preachers of hate are not allowed into Australia."

Hizb ut-Tahrir spokesman Uthman Badar said Mr Abbott's announcement did not come as a surprise.

He said the speakers for Friday's public lecture are all "local".

"There are no 'top draw' or international speakers. Evidently, the Prime Minister is not interested in facts when seeking to silence political dissent or whip up Islamophobic hysteria," Mr Badar said in a statement.

The Government already has sweeping powers to deny people entry into Australia.

The character test in the Migration Act allows the Immigration Minister and the Department to refuse or cancel a visa for a variety of reasons.

They include if a person has a "substantial criminal record", if there is a risk they will "vilify a segment of the Australian community" and if "the person is found to be not of good character".

Mr Abbott said he did not think new legislation would be needed to introduce the red card system.

"What needs to happen is better coordination between our agencies so that Immigration knows who these people are, it can tag them should they apply for a visa and it can refuse visas to people who are coming to this country to peddle extreme and alien ideologies", Mr Abbott said.

"I am sorry we have not red-carded these hate preachers before now but it will happen and it will happen quickly."
Take a look at the Immigration Department's character requirement for those seeking to enter or stay in Australia.

Opposition Leader Bill Shorten said senior ministers already had enough powers.

"If the talk is on Friday, I'm informed the existing laws are able to deal with hate speech," Mr Shorten told reporters.

"The Foreign Minister or the Minister for Immigration currently have the capacity to refuse a visa applicant entry."

Abbott frustrated, angry Hizb ut-Tahrir not banned

The Prime Minister said he was "frustrated and angry"  Hizb ut-Tahrir could not be banned under existing law.

He said the organisation campaigned against Australian values.

What do you think about the proposal to set up a 'red card' system to stop 'hate preachers' getting visas for Australia?

"Under the law we are bringing through the Parliament [the Foreign Fighters Bill], hopefully before the end of the year, it will be an offence to promote terrorism," he said.

"Then I suppose we need to have another look at Hizb ut-Tahrir... I'll need to get fresh legal advice."

The organisation, which aims to re-establish an Islamic caliphate as an independent state, is banned in a number of countries.

In June, Mr Badar had been due to give a speech titled Honour Killings Are Morally Justified at the Festival of Dangerous Ideas.

The event was cancelled after it sparked an angry response on social media and talkback radio, and drew strong condemnation from two New South Wales Government ministers.

Australia has joined the US-led coalition in air combat missions over Iraq, targeting militants from the Islamic State group.

Two hundred special forces are currently in the Middle East awaiting final approval to advise the Iraqi army.
