How could the US turn into a dictatorship?

Actually, the mathemetician Kurt Gödel, when studying to pass the US citizenship test, found an inconsistency in the US constitution that could turn the US into a dictatorship. Most people believe that this flaw was with Article V of the constitution, which deals with amending the document. This could be used to amend all of the different parts of the constitution, most likely starting with amending Article V itself so that the President has full amending power. He/she then works to get rid of every freedom found in the constitution and establish themselves as the supreme leader of the nation.
