Hegelian Dialectic on a slow news week (1, 2, 3)

Photo (Courtesy) http://dailycaller.com/2012/07/18/chick-fil-a-president-gay-marriage-is-inviting-gods-judgment-on-our-nation-audio/

Why are we seeing these HEADLINES (this week) in the midst of a post-modern politically correct environment, and during the heat of a re-election campaign of the most liberal and divisive president of the United States of America ever in history?

1.

Christian Post - 11 hours ago
On a recent episode of "The 700 Club," Pat Robertson told a viewer that he should break off his relationship with a Muslim woman, saying there ...

2.

Dan Cathy, the president and chief operating officer of Chick-fil-A, said in a radio interview this week that same-sex marriage is “inviting God’s judgment on our nation.”

3.
Boy Scouts of America enforce ban on gays

According to Fox News, the Boy Scouts of America reaffirmed its policy on excluding gay males from being a part of its organization. The decision was made late Tuesday afternoon, despite relentless protests by the public and LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) activists. This decision was not made lightly, as it was the result of a 2-year review committee of 11-members.

My only logical explanation for these CONSCIOUSNESS RAISING headlines are two words:
Hegelian Dialectic

*
What is the Hegelian Dialectic?

The Hegelian dialectic is the framework for guiding our thoughts and actions into conflicts that lead us to a predetermined solution. If we do not understand how the Hegelian dialectic shapes our perceptions of the world, then we do not know how we are helping to implement the vision. When we remain locked into dialectical thinking, we cannot see out of the box.

Hegel's dialectic is the tool which manipulates us into a frenzied circular pattern of thought and action. Every time we fight for or defend against an ideology we are playing a necessary role in Marx and Engels' grand design to advance humanity into a dictatorship of the proletariat. The synthetic Hegelian solution to all these conflicts can't be introduced unless we all take a side that will advance the agenda. The Marxist's global agenda is moving along at breakneck speed. The only way to completely stop the privacy invasions, expanding domestic police powers, land grabs, insane wars against inanimate objects (and transient verbs), covert actions, and outright assaults on individual liberty, is to step outside the dialectic. This releases us from the limitations of controlled and guided thought.

-----------------------------------------------------------

The points may be or are valid; But, where is this leading to?

AN URGENT MESSAGE

SATURDAY, MARCH 7, 2009

I am compelled by the Holy Spirit to send out an urgent message to all on our mailing list, and to friends and to bishops we have met all over the world.

AN EARTH-SHATTERING CALAMITY IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. IT IS GOING TO BE SO FRIGHTENING, WE ARE ALL GOING TO TREMBLE - EVEN THE GODLIEST AMONG US.

For ten years I have been warning about a thousand fires coming to New York City. It will engulf the whole megaplex, including areas of New Jersey and Connecticut. Major cities all across America will experience riots and blazing fires—such as we saw in Watts, Los Angeles, years ago.

There will be riots and fires in cities worldwide. There will be looting—including Times Square, New York City. What we are experiencing now is not a recession, not even a depression. We are under God’s wrath. In Psalm 11 it is written,

“If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (v. 3).

God is judging the raging sins of America and the nations. He is destroying the secular foundations.

The prophet Jeremiah pleaded with wicked Israel, “God is fashioning a calamity against you and devising a plan against you. Oh, turn back each of you from your evil way, and reform your ways and deeds. But they will say, It’s hopeless! For we are going to follow our own plans, and each of us will act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart” (Jeremiah 18:11-12).

In Psalm 11:6, David warns, “Upon the wicked he will rain snares (coals of fire)…fire…burning wind…will be the portion of their cup.” Why? David answered, “Because the Lord is righteous” (v. 7). This is a righteous judgment—just as in the judgments of Sodom and in Noah’s generation.

WHAT SHALL THE RIGHTEOUS DO? WHAT ABOUT GOD’S PEOPLE?

First, I give you a practical word I received for my own direction. If possible lay in store a thirty-day supply of non-perishable food, toiletries and other essentials. In major cities, grocery stores are emptied in an hour at the sign of an impending disaster.

As for our spiritual reaction, we have but two options. This is outlined in Psalm 11. We “flee like a bird to a mountain.” Or, as David says, “He fixed his eyes on the Lord on his throne in heaven—his eyes beholding, his eyelids testing the sons of men” (v. 4). “In the Lord I take refuge” (v. 1).

I will say to my soul: No need to run...no need to hide. This is God’s righteous work. I will behold our Lord on his throne, with his eye of tender, loving kindness watching over every step I take—trusting that he will deliver his people even through floods, fires, calamities, tests, trials of all kinds.

Note: I do not know when these things will come to pass, but I know it is not far off. I have unburdened my soul to you. Do with the message as you choose.

God bless and keep you,

In Christ,

DAVID WILKERSON

Jesuits Promote Soros’ ‘Anti-Catholic’ NGO

by Tom McGregor Mon, Jul 9, 2012, 10:52 PM

The Jesuit Refugee Service is encouraging its donors and volunteers to support the ‘anti-Catholic’ agenda of alternative energy tycoon, George Soros, a major contributor to Pro-Choice groups and President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign.

The Jesuits even describe Mr. Soros’ International Crisis Group’s (ICG) Website as a useful link for “Catholic organizations.” It shows a “recruitment” and “donate” link to help Jesuit supporters join Soros’ political groups.

To make it easier for people to donate to Soros’ foundations, the Jesuit Refugee Service translates its ICG donor request into the English, French, Spanish and Italian languages.
The Jesuits also support the Missionary Service News Agency, which says, “Misna provides daily new ‘from about and for’ the ‘world’s South’, not just in the geographical sense. Journalistically, the news agency – which is often described as ‘alternative’ or as providing ‘counter-information’ – has the primary aim of integrating and sometimes also ‘correcting’ the ‘genetically modified information’ put into circulation by large global news systems that have different perceptions of the world.”

Jesuits respond to Supreme Court decision on immigration law

Jesuits respond to Supreme Court decision on immigration law
June 26, 2012 — JRS/USA

The U.S. Jesuit Conference, the Jesuit Refugee Service/USA and the Kino Border Initiative welcome the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down three key provisions of Arizona’s controversial immigration law, S.B.1070. In doing so, the Court correctly recognized the federal government’s constitutional authority to regulate immigration.

We are disappointed however that the decision left standing a final provision of the Arizona law, requiring Arizona law enforcement officers to stop and detain without warrant individuals on the sole basis of “reasonable suspicion” of irregular status. We fear this provision places Arizona law enforcement officers at odds with the communities they seek to protect. This decision not only affects all Hispanics in the state of Arizona, but anyone deemed “foreign looking” is subject to detention and interrogation by law enforcement officers of the state. Such laws endanger all residents of Arizona by creating a fear and mistrust of law enforcement and drive immigrant communities further into the shadows by discouraging them from contacting the police when they are victims of crimes.

The Supreme Court’s decision on this provision of the Arizona law acknowledges the potential for future legal challenges, and we are hopeful that the provision will be overturned once the problems associated with it are further documented.

Through the Kino Border Initiative (a cooperative endeavor between six religious organizations, including JRS/USA and two provinces of the Society of Jesus, operating in the twin cities of Nogales, Arizona and Nogales, Sonora, Mexico) we have borne daily witness to the harsh realities of the current broken immigration system. The Jesuit Conference, JRS/USA, and the Kino Border Initiative have long been committed to a humane and comprehensive approach to immigration reform.

In this spirit, we welcome the words of Archbishop José H. Gomez of Los Angeles, chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops Committee on Migration, who has said, in response to the Supreme Court’s decision, “The U.S. Catholic bishops across the nation will urge their state governments to not pursue laws such as in Arizona, but rather to pursue humane reform on the federal level. Humane enforcement of our nation’s laws are part of any solution, but enforcement by itself, unjustly administered, only leads to abuses and family breakdown.”

Venezuelan Crack Down On Gas Smuggling Sparks Anger in Border State

Venezuelan Crack Down On Gas Smuggling Sparks Anger in Border State

A new government strategy to counter gas smuggling in the Venezuelan border state of Zulia has created a fierce backlash among locals and furthermore looks unlikely to be able to counter the main area of the trade controlled by large criminal groups.

Workers in the public transport sector of Zulia’s capital, Maracaibo, are organizing a protest against the new electronic "chip" system (aimed at tracking gas sales) for July 18, reported El Nacional. Opposition lawmakers in the Maracaibo Municipal Council also say they are lobbying for a referendum over the use of the tracking system.

The "chip" is actually a barcode attached to car windshields. Each car is assigned a monthly quota of gasoline, which the chip tracks. Before buying gas at a station, the chip is scanned, and the sale is only completed if the monthly quota has not yet been met.

The system was first implemented in the border state of Tachira in 2010, home to one of the busiest border crossings in Latin America, between the Venezuelan town of San Antonio del Tachira and the Colombian city of Cucuta.

The government hopes that by tracking gasoline sales, they will be able to cut down on the contraband gas trade between Venezuela and Colombia, a highly profitable industry due to the enormous price disparity; a gallon of gas sells for 18 cents in Venezuela, compared to $5 in Colombia.

While the illicit trade has become the livelihood for many small-time traffickers in the Colombia-Venezuela border region, many of these smugglers are extorted by larger criminal groups for the right to operate. Colombian drug trafficking organization the Rastrojos are currently thought to be the major criminal group controlling Zulia state, including the capital Maracaibo.

InSight Crime Analysis

It remains to be seen exactly how effective the chip will be in reining in the illegal gasoline trade. While it will certainly have an effect on the amount of monthly gas that individual buyers can purchase, the real money in the trade is made from the large containers of gas that are smuggled across the border with the complicity of Venezuela and Colombia border officials. A report released in April by Colombian think tank Nuevo Arco Iris foundation described how truck drivers smuggling gas must pay bribes at multiple police roadblocks from Venezuela to Colombia.

While the chip system appears to have been effective in reducing overall gas sales in Tachira, it is a method of control that focuses on individual gas buyers, not the organized smugglers who contribute the most to the problem, and who operate with the permission of the border security forces. The system is likely to continue to generate more discontent in Zulia, to the point where expanding the system nationwide may come with too great a political cost for the government.

Episcopal Church of SWVA to begin blessing same sex couples

July 16, 2012|WDBJ Web Staff

Same-sex couples can't get married in Virginia, but one church is making headway in gay equality.

The Episcopal Church of Southwestern Virginia will let clergy bless gay couples starting in December.

The decision was made last week at the Episcopalian's General Convention in Indianapolis. It's a decision 40 years in the making that Bishop Neff Powell says is a step toward equality for all.

"What it means for the future of the church is that we are making it clear all the time that all people are welcome in God's kingdom," Powell says. "I think that this means, in particular, the Episcopal Church welcomes everybody."

It will be up to each individual church to decide whether to perform the ceremonies.

The Episcopal Church becomes the largest denomination in the U.S. to officially sanction same-sex relationships.

US Drought to Intensify Threat to Western Crops

Tuesday, 17 Jul 2012 01:23 PM

Hot, dry weather for the next two weeks will continue to stress corn and soybean crops in the western and northern parts of the Midwest, while rainfall in the east will provide some relief to the struggling soybean, an agricultural meteorologist said Tuesday.

"The rains will be too late for corn but it will help soybeans. We see upwards of an inch to 1-1/2 inches (of rain) this week and again next week for Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky," said Don Keeney, meteorologist for MDA EarthSat Weather.

However, the drought is spreading into the western and northwestern crop belt, leading to further stress and more crop losses.

Keeney said hot, dry weather would remain the norm for the next two weeks in Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Minnesota, the Dakotas and southern Wisconsin.

"Temperatures will get up to 100 today in Chicago and 102 in St. Louis," he said. Cooler temperatures in the 80s and 90s are expected by the weekend, but hotter weather is likely to return next week.

The expanding drought, now considered the worst in over a half century, punished the U.S. corn crop last week.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, in its weekly crop progress report on Monday, said just 31 percent of the corn crop was in good to excellent shape, down from 40 percent a week earlier and below analysts' average estimate of 35 percent.

Soybean conditions fell to 34 percent from 40 percent in the good to excellent category, below estimates for 35 percent.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said in a report Monday that based on the Palmer Drought Index, 55 percent of the contiguous United States was under moderate to extreme drought in June. That is the largest land area in the United States to be affected by a drought since December 1956.

Commodity Weather Group (CWG) on Tuesday said over half of the Midwest would continue with severe moisture deficits and plenty of heat, particularly in the western corn belt.

"Late pollinating and filling corn and pod-setting soybeans will see yields fall further," said CWG meteorologist Joel Widenor.

"Showers may scatter into the south and east Midwest, but relief for the belt as a whole would still be limited."

Chicago Board of Trade corn prices have soared more than 40 percent in only six weeks as crop prospects have plunged.

World Religious Freedom Conference Tackles Tough Issues

Avoid secular society’s lead, speaker says.

A
AVOID SECULARIZING RELIGION:
Denton Lotz, IRLA president, gave a keynote address on secularism and religious freedom. He said, “Religion will die when it no longer focuses on God, but only on autonomous man. Religion will thrive when it focuses on God.”
ddressing nearly 900 delegates and guests at the Seventh World Congress of the International Religious Liberty Association (IRLA), Denton Lotz, a noted Baptist minister and IRLA president, summarized the purpose of this three-day event: “We’re here today because we believe that freedom of religion is basic to all human rights.”

That view, sadly, is not shared in many parts of the world, something Lotz said made holding the sessions even more important.

“It’s incumbent upon us to work together so that we live together in harmony and concord,” Lotz said to the audience of leaders from Christian, Muslim, Jewish, and other communities. “We don’t need religious wars.”

That violence against believers remains a problem was evident from a session-opening video presentation noting the death sentences pronounced—but not yet carried out—on Christians in Pakistan and Iran on charges of “blasphemy,” and the assassinations of Pakistani officials Salman Taseer, governor of Punjab province, and Shahbaz Bhatti, minorities minister. Also cited was the extreme religious repression found in North Korea.

WITH LIBERTY FOR ALL:
Ted N. C. Wilson, president of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, gave an impassioned plea for religious liberty at the Seventh World Congress of the International Religious Liberty Association.
While the main congress theme, “Secularism and Religious Freedom—Conflict or Partnership?” may seem far removed from lands where persecution is active, Lotz took a different view.

“Most people worldwide suffer from a lack of religious freedom. Seventy percent of the world livesin places of religious repression,” he said.

Speaking to an audience that included Seventh-day Adventists, Mennonites, Roman Catholics, Baptists, Mormons, and Scientologists, among others, IRLA secretary general John Graz noted that the world congress is a multifaceted event.

“This congress is about religious freedom, but it is not a religious event,” Graz said. “We are all here together. We represent different faiths, different religions, and different churches. We are different; but we are respectful of each other.”

During the congress speakers and delegates attempted to negotiate the challenges of a world that is increasingly hostile to a variety of religious expression in the public square. While standing for separation of church and state, Lotz issued a call for religion to avoid following a secular society’s lead.

HUMAN DIGNITY STRESSED:
“We are here because we believe in human dignity, and religious freedom is part of human dignity. Religious freedom is part of God’s gift of love for all people and everywhere,” said John Graz, secretary general of the International Religious Liberty Association, sponsored by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, in opening the group’s Seventh World Congress.

JAMAICAN DELEGATE: Nigel Coke, an ILRA leader in Jamaica, was one of nearly 900 delegates at the IRLA’s Seventh World Congress in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, April 26, 2012.
“I believe that allowing secularism to define what a religion believes is the greatest challenge to religious freedom,” Lotz told delegates. “When we allow the secularization of our faith to transcend the transcendent, it loses its meaning,” he added.

According to Lotz, “religion will die when it no longer focuses on God, but only on autonomous man. Religion will thrive when it focuses on God.”

In a statement read to delegates, the country’s president, Leonel Fernández Reyna, offered “a most cordial welcome to the Dominican Republic, a land of freedom. The Dominican Republic is a place of freedom for Christians, Muslims, Jews, and people of other faiths.”

In his April 27, 2012, keynote, Ted N. C. Wilson, president of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, challenged believers to grasp the opportunities for open discourse that a secular state preserves.

Although acknowledging the inevitable conflict between the values of believers and that of secular culture, he said: “We have to accept this tension as part of a free society. We have to accept the challenges and find appropriate responses through God’s leading.”

Wilson drew a distinction between “radical” or “extreme” secularism, which seeks to exclude religion from the public sphere, and “secular governance,” which remains neutral between religions and protects the religious freedom rights of minorities.

“If intolerant and ideological secularism attacks our religious values, we have to stand up for them with conviction,” he said. Wilson cited examples in which secularism has been taken too far, including attempts to prohibit Muslims from wearing headscarves to public school, or to mandate the provision of abortions by institutions that reject the practice as a matter of conscience.

However, Wilson also said that people of faith should reject the temptation to see a “religious state” as an acceptable alternative to secular governance.

He said his lifelong passion for promoting religious liberty has its roots in memories of his father, Neal Wilson, a former world church leader who often spent hours with government officials explaining the value of freedom of conscience.

CASTRO OF CUBA “Profile Of (an) Undercover Jesuit”

.

CASTRO OF CUBA
“Profile Of Undercover Jesuit”
MAGNIFIED BY WORLD HISTORY

Upon graduating from law school he joined the Orthodox or Christian Democrat party. My European readerswill instantly recognize that this is the Roman Catholic Party. The first Christian Democrat party began in Italy under Pius XI in the 1920's. Pius XI later disbanded that party, then put his full support behind Benito Mussolini and his Fascists. The leader of the Christian Democrat party was then forced into exile, though he and Pope Pius XI remained on good speaking terms. It was in London that this leader met a fellow exile - Avro Manhattan.
Returning to Fidel Castro : Castro was obviously fully working for the Jesuits when he joined the Christian Democrat party as a young lawyer. By the time of the Cuban revolution in 1958-59, the Jesuits - in Latin America, were Marxist-Leninist in ideology, as Avro Manhattan and former Jesuit priest, Malachi Martin, well documented.
Malachi Martin documents how, in 1963, the Jesuits became fanatic, left-wing Communists, under Pedro Arrupe, a Marxist, and a great advocate of Fidel Castro. Martin documents in his book: "The Jesuits and the Betrayal of the Roman Catholic Church" how the Jesuits proceeded to foment Communist revolutions throughout Latin America and Africa, with Castro's aid.
The late, former Jesuit Father Alberto Rivera honestly revealed that the Jesuit General Pedro Arrupe was the head of the Communist Party in Spain.
Malachi Martin left the Jesuits in 1964, but while working in the Vatican, he became aware of the fact that the
Jesuits, and many high-ranking cardinals, had held a Black Mass in the Vatican. (St Paul's Cathedral.) During
this Black Mass, these Cardinals and other Jesuits "installed" Lucifer as head of the Church of Rome. It was
Malachi Martin's belief that many of the Roman clergy at that time began practicing child molestation as part of
their Satanic rites of worship.

WORLD HISTORY will inform us that FIDEL CASTRO of Cuba is an undercover Jesuit. The hidden history about him is known by few competent world historians. The loyalty of this man is to serve the will of the Jesuit General (Society Of Jesus) w/ H.Q. in the VATICAN ROMA.
Allow World History to expose his true identity and let the history of Cuba speaks for itself :
This following website is Cuba's official website : http://www.cubaheritage.com
The specific web page below is the official Cuban biography of Fidel Castro :
1) Fidel Castro attended three Jesuit institutions. College Lasalle and Colegio Dolores. "Colegio" in Spanish is a high school or junior college.

2) He then attended a Jesuit university for "preparatory" studies--obviously, what we would call a "general studies" program--at Colegio Belen, "general studies," because, after he matriculated from there, he went to law school.

Pedro Arrupe, Malachi Martin, Alberto Rivera and Avro Manhattan knew each other.

THIS IS WORLD HISTORY
That may sound a little "cranky"--but keep in mind that Malachi Martin went on to work as an advisor for two
more Popes, no longer as a Jesuit. He did textual work on the Dead Sea Scrolls--was an authority on the Semitic
languages. A picture was taken of Malachi Martin sitting between Pope John Paul I - the murdered Pope, and the Pope's assistant, Diego Lorenzi in 1978, long after Martin had left the Jesuits. The picture is in David Yallop's
excellent expose of the murder of John Paul I and the Vatican Bank scandal, called "In God's Name."
Back to Castro and Communist Cuba : the "Calvary Contender," an independent online Baptist periodical,
reports that Henry Morris, the writer of “The Genesis Flood”, says the Pope recently visited Cuba. Castro and he
shared the same podium. Pope John Paul II sounded as much a Communist as Castro.
"POPE & CASTRO SOUND ALIKE ON SOCIALISM-- Fidel Castro and Pope John Paul II met last November.
Cuba is overwhelmingly Catholic. Catholics are allowed to join its' official atheist Communist Party. The Pope
sounds very Castro-esque in his frequent condemnations of capitalism, consumerism and the suffering of the poor
(11/19 HT). He told the Nov. U.N. World Food Summit that the imbalance between the rich and poor ("the haves and have-nots"?) cannot be tolerated. "
1) Cuba is overwhelmingly Roman Catholic.
2) Roman Catholics are allowed to join the atheist Communist Party.
3) Fidel Castro is a graduate of several Jesuit institutions, and is in good standing with the Pope.
4) He was a member of the Roman Catholic Christian Democrat party before starting his Marxist/Leninist
revolution.
Alberto Rivera, the former Jesuit priest who became a Protestant preacher, said that Castro is a fourth-degree,
professed Jesuit. The circumstantial evidence strongly corroborates that statement.
(A PROFESSED JESUIT IS A JESUIT OF THE FOURTH VOW)
Fidel Castro (Ruz) was born August 13, 1926 on his family's sugar plantation which is near Biran, Oriente province, Cuba. His father, originally an immigrant laborer from Galicia, Spain, became owner of a 23,000-acre plantation there.
As a boy, Castro worked in the family's sugar cane fields. When he was 6 years of age, convinced his parents to
send him to school. He attended two Jesuit institutions, the Colegio Lasalle and the Colegio Dolores, in Santiago. In 1942 he entered the Colegio Belen, a Jesuit preparatory school in Havana. He was voted the school's best athlete in 1944.
In 1945 Castro attended the University of Havana's Faculty of Law, and having earned a law degree, went into
practice in 1950 in Havana with two partners. As a lawyer he devoted himself to helping the poor. Castro was a
member of the Ortodoxo Party, a social-democrat party, and strongly criticized the government of Fulgencio
Batista.
Castro intended to campaign for a parliamentary seat in the election of 1952 but General Fulgencio Batista
overthrew the government of President Carlos Prio Socarras in a coup d'etat and canceled the election. Castro
went to court and charged the dictator with violating the constitution. The court rejected Castro's petition. With
no legal recourse left, Castro organized an armed attack by 165 men on the Moncada Barracks in Oriente
province on July 26, 1953. That attack and the one on Bayamo garrison failed completely. Half the attackers were
killed; Castro and his brother Raul were taken prisoner and given a trial. He made his famous speech,
"History Will Absolve Me". Sentenced to 15 years, he was pardoned after just two in a general amnesty on May
15, 1955.
Castro tried unsuccessfully to oppose the military dictatorship by peaceful means. He then went into exile in
Mexico, where he trained and assembled the 26th of July Movement. He gained support from Che Guevara and
others before leaving aboard “The Granma” to invade Cuba in 1956. Returning to Cuba, the revolutionaries hid in
the Sierra Maestra mountains, gaining support among the peasants. Eventually, Batista was forced to flee in 1959
and Castro took over. Castro became a committed Marxist-Leninist who nationalized industry, confiscated
property owned by non-Cubans, collectivized agriculture, and enacted policies to benefit laborers and peasants.
Many of the middle class fled the country, some establishing a large, active anti-Castro community in Miami,
Florida. The United States Government tried various schemes to assassinate Fidel Castro. The CIA made an
unsuccessful attempt to destabilize the Castro government on April 17, 1961, when a force of 1,300 Cuban exiles,
supported by the CIA, made an unsuccessful attempt to invade Cuba at a southern coastal area called the Bay of
Pigs. The assumption by the U.S. was that the invasion would inspire the Cuban population to rise up and
overthrow Castro. It was a miscalculation; the Cuban population supported him. In October, 1962 the so-called
Cuban Missile Crisis occurred when the U.S. government discovered the Soviet Union setting up long-range
ballistic missiles in Cuba. These were perceived by the United States as a threat. President Kennedy instituted a
naval blockade of Cuba that lasted until Khrushchev agreed to remove the missiles. Thereafter, U.S.-Cuban
relations remained mutually hostile.
As a result, Castro became closely aligned with the Soviet Union. The Soviets bought large amounts of sugar and
supplied Cuba with economic and military assistance. This money fueled many of Castro's social programs, such
as his war on illiteracy and free universal health care. With Castro aligning Cuba with the USSR, more and more
friction developed between Cuba and the United States.
Castro has also successfully assisted foreign revolutions in Angola and Ethiopia. He was elected the head of The
Nonaligned Nations Movement and has been a strong critic of US imperialism. The Soviet Union's collapse in 1990 left Cuba in a difficult position and Castro became less of an international figure, though he remains President of Cuba.
Let us consult World History as to what it says about JESUITISM AND COMMUNISM :
In the early 1600’s to the mid 1700’s, the Society Of Jesus (Jesuits) experimented and built a Communist “Utopia” in South America. A form of communal social system enslaving the innocent native “Guarani Indians”. These were called “REDUCTIONS”, with the most famous being the JESUIT'S REDUCTION OF PARAGUAY. Paraguay is one of several regions in South America that were colonies of Spain and Portugal. The Portugese King’s Minister - Marquis de Pombal protested to the Vatican Roma that the Jesuits had established their own domain within the territories claimed by Portugal and Spain. Portugal and Spain discovered the Jesuit's mining activities in South America using the manpower of the Guarani Indians. The Jesuit's Reduction in Paraguay was the first image of communism.
Karl Marx, (the traditional father of communism) was trained in the tenets of Communism by Jesuits at the British Museum in the 1800's for nearly 30-Years.
Vladimir Lenin, was trained by the Jesuits in Geneva, Switzerland about the Tenets Of Communism. It was Germany’s ambassador Diego Bergen (to the Vatican Roma) during the Weimar Republic and Hitler’s NAZI Germany, who organized and provided a fully supported sealed train with Vatican Roma’s flag from Switzerland into Russia for Lenin. Upon Lenin’s arrival in Russia, he then led the Bolshevik Revolution (Russian Communist Revolution).
Leon Trotsky, was provided a safe way passage from New York to Russia to aid in the Bolshevik Revolution. He was financed by the Jesuit's newly established Federal Reserved Bank which was approved by another Jesuit temporal coadjutor President Woodrow Wilson in connivance with undercover Jesuit Colonel Edward Mandel House. The Federal Reserve Bank was the financier of the Bolshevik Revolution and was exposed in the mid 1930’s by Congressman Louis T. McFadden of Pennsylvania during his privilege speech inside the U.S. House Of Congress.
Joseph Stalin, was educated and trained by the Jesuits at the Orthodox Seminary in Tiflis, Georgia, Russia. The Jesuits taught the tenets of Communism to Stalin and Cardinal Agagianian.
Daniel Ortega, was the head of the Sandinista Rebels in Nicaragua and responsible for the assassination of President Anastacio Somoza. It was the Jesuit Father Fernando Cardenal who formulated the LIBERATION THEOLOGY and injected it into the Sandinista Rebels. Both Daniel Ortega and Jesuit Father Fernando Cardenal were helped by undercover Jesuit - Fidel Castro. Liberation Theology scattered throughout South American regions and reached Sri Lanka, India and the Philippines. Liberation Theology is Catholicism with a mixture of Marxism which was embraced by Fathers Conrado Balweg and Luis Jalandoni.
During World War II (Russian Front), Hitler’s right hand man, Martin Bormann, was an agent of communist Russia and cooperated with Joseph Stalin.
Martin Bormann knew that Joseph Stalin was an undercover Jesuit (Father Joseph Stalin, S.J.). That is why Martin Bormann was helped by the Jesuit’s “Vatican Ratlines” to escape into South America wearing a Jesuit priest's robe. He was helped by Bishop Alois Hudal and Martin Bormann’s son - the godson of Adolph Hitler, named Adolph Martin Bormann who is a Jesuit priest and assigned in Africa.
Mao Tse Tung, was trained by the Jesuits about the Tenets Of Communism. In China, Mao Tse Tung was helped and put into power by a known Jesuit anthropologist, Jesuit Father Tielhard de Chardin.
Up to this present time, only Jesuit owned Colleges and Universities are teaching LIBERATION THEOLOGY UNDER CURRICULUM 141 IMMERSION PROGRAM. This is a clear manifestation that the Jesuits are teaching communism or Marxist Ideology.
The former teacher of Fidel Castro was Jesuit Father Armando Llorente. Father Armando Llorente is now 87 years old and presently living at a Jesuit residence in Miami, Florida. Nicaraguan exiles now living in Florida, U.S.A. are blaming Jesuit Father Fernando Cardenal for being the instigator of the civil war in Nicaragua carried-out by the Sandinista Rebels.

Father Dorta-Duque Undercover Jesuit Fidel Castro
Anyone who is about to study World History or already studying, or who already has a competent knowledge about world history will not dispute these issues and will not agree that these issues are conspiracy theory. There are approximately 6,000 Books written about the Jesuits and many of these books were banned, and no way available in famous bookstores and are now missing in public libraries around the world. The only remaining public library that is keeping these rare, and banned books about the Jesuits is the British Museum in London. Soon, the Jesuits will have these banned and rare books removed from the British Museum.
World History is one of the major subjects that the Society Of Jesus (Jesuits) doesn’t want discussed in public, universities, colleges and in the television forum.
Lastly, you’ll notice that the Jesuits are the only religious fathers of the Roman Catholic Church who have the privilege to wear civilian clothes and not a priest’s robes. Yet, they are The Catholic Church’s religious fathers. This is one of the reasons, Jesuits can infiltrate governments, military and other private sectors without being noticed as a Jesuit Father.

The things which God hath prepared for them that love him

7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

1 Corinthians 2:7-14

You can’t miss the mammoth white tent if you drive anywhere in the vicinity of Eight Mile and Pontiac Trail and that’s just what members of The New Beginnings 7th-Day Adventist church are hoping as they host a tent revival meeting, a form of evangelizing that harkens back to the early 19th century.

Tent revivals are part of “Americana,” according to Lou Alfalah, church elder and site coordinator.

Speaker Jim Howard will tackle subjects like, signs of the end of the world, identifying the anti-Christ and discerning whether there is significance of 2012 and the end of the mysterious Mayan calendar. Other topics include understanding the 10 Commandments and other important Bible teachings.

“Our purpose is to make disciples of Jesus Christ to faithfully represent His Word to let His truth be known and proclaim His soon return,” Alfalah said. “Our goal is not membership. Our goal is make disciples of the Lord Jesus — those who have a relationship with the Lord.”

The Seventh-day Adventist host one or two Bible seminars annually. The group rents space from Family Life Community Church, 62345 W. Eight Mile Road in South Lyon, and meets at 9:30 a.m. Saturday mornings followed by Bible study at 11:10 a.m.

Howard will make presentations during the tent revival at 7 p.m. Monday, July 16, Tuesday, July 17, Thursday, July 19, Friday, July 20, Monday, July 23, Tuesday July 24, Thursday, July 26, Friday, July 27, Monday, July 30, Tuesday, July 31, Thursday, Aug. 2 and Friday, Aug. 3. The events are free.

Is that in the Bible?

Copyright © The Master's Table

We hear people quote statements and either claim the quote is from the bible or we assume it is, but is it really there?

Many misconceptions are passed around because people believe the claim "The bible states" and it can be not only fun, but educational to look at these misquotes so we can know the truth about any topic.

Check to see if there is a quote that you thought was in the bible and where it really came from.

Is this in the bible: Hate the sin but love the sinner:
Actually that verse is not in the bible but is a quote from Mahatma Ghandi. However there are many verses in the bible that say we are to hate sin. Jesus also stated love your neighbor as yourself and we find recorded in Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates his love for us in this that while we were still sinners Christ died for us." So we find in the bible that God hates sin but he loves the sinners and desires for all people to come to His Son for salvation. If we are to be followers of the Messiah then we should also love the sinner and hate the sin.

Is this in the bible: "Charity begins at home."
Not in this way, however the scriptures do state...in 1 Tim 5:8 "But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

Is this in the bible: "The Lord helps those who help themselves"?
No, it is an ancient proverb that shows up in the literature of many cultures, including a 1736 edition of Benjamin Franklin's Poor Richard's Almanac but it seems to promote a self-reliance on one's own power rather than trusting wholly in God. Prov 28:26. "He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but whoever walks wisely will be delivered." (NKJ)

Jer 17:5-6. "Thus says the LORD: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the LORD. 6 For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see when good comes, but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land which is not inhabited." (NKJ)

Is this in the bible: Eve gave Adam an "apple" in the Garden of Eden?
Not actually. The Genesis account only says "fruit". Gen 3:6. "So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate." (NKJ)

The idea that it was an apple may possibly come from verses such as Proverbs 7:2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye. (Apple of Eye is referred to in 5 passages: Deuteronomy 31:10; Psalms 17:8; Proverbs 7:2; Lamentations 2:17; Zechariah 2:8)

Is this in the bible: "God moves in mysterious ways?"
Answer: False as stated. However, a bible scripture that denotes that God is greater than we can understand can be found in Rom 11:33. "Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!" The exact quote that God moves in a mysterious way is found in a work by hymn writer William Cowper (1731-1800).

God moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform;
He plants His footsteps in the sea
And rides upon the storm....

Is this in the bible: "Spare the rod, spoil the child."
Not in that way but the bible states in Prov 13:24 24 He who spares his rod hates his son, but he who loves him disciplines him promptly. (NKJ)

Is this in the bible: "Money is the root of all evil."
The true quote is, The Love of money is the root of all evil" The term, "love of" places the choice and responsibility on the person.

Is this in the bible: Cleanliness is next to godliness.
This is not in the Bible and no similar verses or concepts are found in the Bible. God does not seem to rate hygiene as a high priority. The origin is John Wesley, from a sermon he gave called “On Dress".

Is this in the bible: "Idle hands are the Devil's workshop"
Although this may be a good and wise saying the bible states that laziness casts one into a deep sleep, and an idle person will suffer hunger. Prov 19:15 15 (NKJ)

Is this in the bible: "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush!"
Although it is not wise to let go of what one has until the other is secure this statement is not found in the bible.

Is this in the bible: "A word to the wise is sufficient."
The true biblical quote is: "The wise in heart will receive commands, but a prating fool will fall." Prov 10:8 8 (NKJ)
Also "The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who heeds counsel is wise." Prov 12:15 15 (NKJ)

Is this in the bible: "All men are created equal."
No and the bible accounts prove many times that all men are not created equal. One scripture that reflects this as God being the potter is found in Rom 9:20-23 20 But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, "Why have you made me like this?" 21 Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? 22 What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much long-suffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, (NKJ)

Is this in the bible: "A stitch in time saves nine."
Not found in scripture.

Is this in the bible: "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."
Just like the above statement "A stitch in time saves nine" is wisdom but this one is not found in scripture as well.

Is this in the bible: "As the twig is bent, so shall the tree grow"
Although this may be a fact this statement can not be found in the bible.

Is this in the bible: "As you make your bed, you must lie in it."
This is not found in scripture, however we find the equivalent in Gal 6:7-8 7. "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life." (NKJ)

Is this in the bible: "Beauty is only skin deep."
No this statement can not be found as is in scripture but we find the equivalent in 1 Pet 3:3-4 3. "Do not let your adornment be merely outward-- arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel-- rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." (NKJ)

Also we find in 1 Sam 16:7, "But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."

Is this in the bible: "Beggars should not be choosers"
This is not found in the bible.

Is this in the bible: "Blood is thicker than water."
No! Not found in scripture.

Is this in the bible: "Bread is the staff of life."
This statement is not found is scripture as is however, the bible records many times that bread was the staff of life.

Is this in the bible: "Strike while the iron is hot."
Although this is a wise saying it did not come from the bible. It is attributed to Oliver Cromwell.

Is this in the bible: "The gift without the giver is bare."
This quote is from James Russell Lowell.

Is this in the bible: "There is none so blind as he who will not see."
No this is not in Scripture. The closest to it is found in Matt 13:13-14 13. "Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14 "And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: 'Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, and seeing you will see and not perceive;" (NKJ)

Is this in the bible: "Think twice before you speak."
This quote is not found however the wisdom of it is reflected in James 1:19 19. "So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath;" (NKJ)

Is this in the bible: "To err is human, to forgive, divine."
This is not in the bible however, the fact that err is human and the act of forgiveness is divine is taught in scripture.

Is this in the bible: To the victor belongs the spoils."
No this is not found however the principal is found throughout the old Testament. One such place is 1 Chr 26:27 27. "Some of the spoils won in battles they dedicated to maintain the house of the LORD." (NKJ)

Is this in the bible: "When in Rome do as the Romans do."
This quote is not found in the bible, however we do find the equivalent in 1 Cor 9:20-22 20 and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law; 21 to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law; 22 to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. (NKJ)

Is this in the bible: "Confession is good for the soul."
This statement as stated can not be found in scripture, however we find in a Scottish Proverb "Open confession is good for the soul" We can find scripture in James 5:16 16 that is an instruction to confess our sins to one another. "Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." and in Matt 3:4-6. "And John himself was clothed in camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey. Then Jerusalem, all Judea, and all the region around the Jordan went out to him and were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins." and in 1 John 1:9. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This seem to be more a confession of our sins to Jesus the Messiah who can forgive our sins, however there is not one scripture that states we should confess our sins to some man in order to be forgiven by God.

Is this in the bible: "Every cloud has a silver lining"
No this is not in scripture, however we do find the equivalent in Rom 8:28 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. (NKJ)

Is this in the bible: "Give the devil his due."
No this is not in scripture.

Is this in the bible: "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."
This quote is not found in scripture. The true quote is..."Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned."
By William Congreave.

Is this in the bible: "Honesty is the best policy."
No not in these words, however the word "Honesty" found in most New Testament scripture is the equivalent of "fair and Just." Col 4:1 1. Masters, give your bondservants what is just and fair, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven. (NKJ) The word "Honest" is found in Gen. 42:11, - 19- 31- 33-34. Lev. 19:36, Job 31:6, Prv. 16:11, Eze. 45:10, and in the "Old King James version" we find the word "honest" in Luke 8:15, Acts 6:3, Rom 12:17, 2 Cor 8:21, and 2 Cor 13:13, Phil 4:8. 1 Pet 2:12, (See 1 Thess 4:12, 1 Tim 2:2, and Heb. 13:18. The actual phrase seems to have come from English Playwright and Poet, William Shakespeare (1564-1616) which says "Honesty is the best policy. If I lose mine honor, I lose myself."

Is this in the bible: "In unity there is strength."
No this is not in the bible, however we do find many examples where strength in numbers prevail.

Is this in the bible: "It is wise to choose the lesser of two evils."
No, not in scripture.

Is this in the bible: "Knowledge is power."
No this is not found in scripture, however the bible does state that the lack of knowledge will destroy those that reject it. Hosea 4:6 6. "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children." (NKJ)

Is this in the bible: "Lord, what fools these mortals be."
No this famous quote is not found in scripture, however it is from the play "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare.

Is this in the bible: "Neither a borrower nor a lender be."
This exact quote is not found in the bible, however we read in Prov 22:7 7. "The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." (NKJ)

Is this in the bible: David was a child when he slew the giant Goliath?
Every child's story seems to perpetuate the idea that David was a child but what does the bible really teach? This idea seems to stem from 1 Sam 17:33. "And Saul said to David, "You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him; for you are a youth, and he a man of war from his youth." (NKJ)

But to use this scripture alone is not telling the complete story! I Sam 17:33 refers to David's measure of experience in war compared to Goliath's - not his manhood. We see in the previous chapter that David was a full grown man (albeit a young one-supposed around 22-23) 1 Sam 16:18. "Then one of the servants answered and said, "Look, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, who is skillful in playing, a mighty man of valor, a man of war, prudent in speech, and a handsome person; and the LORD is with him." (NKJ)

We also know King Saul was a tall man and yet David, when offered Saul's armor, did not complain that it didn't fit but only that he was not experienced with them and chose his own preferred weapon (sling) and the armor of God. 1 Sam 17:38-39. "So Saul clothed David with his armor, and he put a bronze helmet on his head; he also clothed him with a coat of mail. David fastened his sword to his armor, and he tried to walk, for he had not tested them. And David said to Saul, "I cannot walk with these, for I have not tested them." So David took them off. (NKJ)

Is this in the bible: Two of every kind of animal went on Noah's ark?
Another idea perpetuated by children's stories (we should fix those!) This idea comes from the verse Genesis 7:9. We read- Gen 7:8-9. "Of clean animals, of animals that are unclean, of birds, and of everything that creeps on the earth, 9 two by two they went into the ark to Noah, male and female, as God had commanded Noah." (NKJ)

This merely tells us that the animals BOARDED the ark by twos - the male and its female (mating pairs). The truth appears a few verses earlier -- Gen 7:2-5. "You shall take with you seven each of every clean animal, a male and his female; two each of animals that are unclean, a male and his female; "also seven each of birds of the air, male and female, to keep the species alive on the face of all the earth. "For after seven more days I will cause it to rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and I will destroy from the face of the earth all living things that I have made." And Noah did according to all that the LORD commanded him." (NKJ) So we see seven mating pairs or fourteen of every clean animal and two mating pairs or four of every unclean animal.

Does the New Testament teach that we must go to church?
No, not as a command. Let's first look at the meaning of the word "church," as in the New Testament to understand more fully. Strong's Exhaustive Concordance reveals that the Greek word rendered "church" is ekklesia [ekklhsia] which means a calling out, or more concretely a meeting, and was used as to refer to a religious congregation such as the Jewish synagogue, or the Christian community. The Bible states that the "church" (ekklesia) is the "called out", or the assembly of the saints, of which Christ is head. A building or home was never refered to as the church as was the Temple of the old Testament, but is described by Jesus as a vine in John 15:5. " I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." The Church according to New Tesyament teaching is the people who were refered to as saints.

There are scriptures that show the early "church" (ekklesia) were meeting within a house which states, "The churches of Asia greet you. Aquila and Priscilla greet you heartily in the Lord, with the church (The people.) that is in their house. All the brethren greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss." 1 Cor 16:19-20. However some scripture states that the early church did meet in the Temple. Acts 5:42 42. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ." Does the New Testament teach that it is best to meet together? Let's read Heb 10:23-25, "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. (NKJ)

Is this in the bible: True Christians never sin after they are saved.
No - this is a common misconception amongst new converts. It is a struggle we are engaged in until the day we die but as we read in 1 John 1:8-9 we all sin. "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us."

Paul also struggeled against the downpulls of his flesh and yet fell to the sins of the flesh at times as scripture shows. Romans 7:14-25. "For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God-- through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin."

The key is to not live in sin but live continuing to work on overcoming the down-pull of our flesh. We should always fight the temptation of the flesh, but when we sin we do have an advocate and savior as we find recorded in I Jn 2:1-2. "My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous, and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

Is this in the bible: "The Saved goes to Heaven after death"
The truth may shock you because there is not a single verse in the entire Bible that states that the saved will go to heaven! The fact is that there are many verses that teach that the saved will be in "the kingdom of heaven." The kingdom of heaven is taught as the Kingdom FROM heaven. So what is it that those who are saved shall inherit? The Bible does teach that our treasure and rewards are stored in heaven but it never teaches that the saved will go to heaven and live there; however it does teach that the kingdom of heaven will come down to a renewed earth, and then the kingdom will be established on a new earth altogether. Below are a few scriptures that reflect that the saved shall inherit the earth. This first scripture I find very revealing.

John 3:13 13, "No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.

Matthew 5:5, Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Rev 3:12, "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. And I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.

Rev 21:2-3, Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.

Rev 21:9-10, Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife." And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

Psalms 37:11, But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Psalms 37:22, For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

Psalms 37:9, For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

Is this in the bible: "Catholic."
No! The word Catholic means universal thus the Universal Church.

Is this in the bible: "Pope"
No the word "Pope" as used is not in the bible, however the word means "Father" or "Papa." The Pope of the Roman Catholic Church also has the title as the "Most Holy Father" and this title is unscriptural as Jesus Himself stated in Matt 23:9 9. "Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. (NKJ)

Is this in the bible: "Purgatory."
The dictionary renders "Purgatory as "a condition or place in which the souls of those dying penitent are purified from venial sins, or undergo the temporal punishment that, after the guilt of mortal sin has been remitted, still remains to be endured by the sinner." This word is not found in the bible, however we do find that Schaff (German-American theologian and Catholic church historian.) pointed out that a passage exists only in the Latin version that stated Jesus went to those dead and saved their souls. Quote: "It was for this reason that the Lord descended into the regions beneath the earth, preaching His advent to them also, and [declaring] the remission of sins to those who believe in Him. Now all those believed in Him who had hope towards him, that is, those who proclaimed His advent, and submitted to His dispensations, the righteous men, the prophets, and the patriarchs, to whom He remitted sins in the same way, as He did to us, which sins we should not lay to their charge, if we would not despise the grace of God." This is not scriptural and we know Jesus did NOT do this because scripture states that the dead know nothing and will not be resurrected until Jesus comes the second time, but the Catholic Church wants to teach such to their people so they made scripture on their own to back up the teaching.

Is this in the bible: "Sacrament"
This word is not biblical and is customarily used by Catholics. The Catholic Church still has in place laws against anyone who would declare any of this idolatry. The Catholic church killed those who denied transubstantiation in the past. "If anyone denies that in the sacrament of the most Holy Eucharist are contained truly, really and substantially the body and blood together with the soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, and consequently the whole Christ, but says that He is in it only as in a sign, or figure or force, let him be anathema." ~Canons and Decrees of the Council of Trent. Original text with translation by 'Rev.' H.J. Shroeder, O.P.,B. Herder Books Co. 1960, p 79, Canon 1 ["anathema" means accursed or condemned - worthy to be put to death]

Is this in the bible: "Eucharist."
(Transubstantiation)
No this word is not biblical. The development of Eucharistic doctrine centers on two ideas: "Presence and Sacrifice." In the New Testament, no attempt is made to explain Christ's presence at the Eucharist. The theologians of the early church tended to accept Jesus' words "This is my body" and "This cup is the new covenant in my blood" (Luke 22:19-20) as sufficient explanation of the miraculous transformation of the bread and wine into the body and blood of Christ, although some interpretations reflect the influence of Platonic philosophy on the early church. During the Middle Ages a more elaborate doctrine of the Eucharist was developed by Scholastic philosophers under the influence of Aristotle.

Is this in the bible: "Apostles' Creed"
For hundreds of years Christians believed that the twelve apostles were the authors of the widely known creed that bears their name. According to an ancient theory, the twelve composed the creed with each apostle adding a clause to form the whole. Today practically all scholars understand this theory of apostolic composition to be legendary. The full form in which the creed now appears stems from about 700 AD. However, segments of it are found in Christian writings dating as early as the second century. The most important predecessor of the Apostles' Creed was the Old Roman Creed, which was probably developed during the second half of the second century. The additions to the Apostles' Creed are clearly seen when its present form is compared to the Old Roman version: Bibliography: J N D Kelly, Early Christian Creeds; W Barclay, The Apostles' Creed for Everyman; S Barr, From the Apostles' Faith to the Apostles' Creed; P Fuhrmann, The Great Creeds of the Church; W Pannenberg, The Apostles' Creed in the Light of Today's Questions; J Smart, The Creed in Christian Teaching; H B Swete, The Apostles' Creed; H Thielicke, I Believe: The Christian's Creed; B F Westcott, The Historic Faith.

Is this in the bible: "Christmas."
This is a Catholic word originally spelled "Christ-Mass" meaning the mass for Christ or Christ Mass. The origin of the holiday comes from the Catholic Church, in an effort to gain more people to the Roman Catholic Church, adopted the Mithraic festival of the birth of the sun" (World Popular Encyclopedia, Volume 3). As for the Christian church during the lives of the apostles there was never a celebration of Christ' birth and although there is no record of Jesus' "Date" of birth, we know that He was born sometime in the fall of the year, and most likely in what we call September today, but was at that time the seventh month of the Hebrew year. One reason we know this is because the shepherds were still in the fields at the time of Jesus' birth and that would not be the case if it had of been winter. Christmas was originally observed on January 7 (Nimrods birthday) but in 1752, 11 days were dropped from the year when the switch was made from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian calendar. Some Christian church sects, called old Calendarists, still celebrate Christmas on January 7 to this day. The true reason the Catholic church decided on December 25th. was so other pagan religions could be incorporated and be celebrated as Christian customs.

Is this in the bible: Easter as a word or a festival.
The word "Easter can only be found one time in the old King James bible in Acts 12:4 and is a misquote from the word "Pascha" which is the Greek word for "Passover" as found throughout the New Testament. The observance is not found in the Bible as Christian and was not recognized by Jesus, the apostles, or the early Christian. There is only one place in scripture that describes an Easter type service and in that instance God is admonishing them not to do it because it was worship to the pagan god Tammuze. Ezekiel 8:12-13 records women weeping for Tammuz. The word Easter was used by pagans to designate the Feast of New Life in the spring. The same root is found in the name for the place where the sun rises no matter where we are on the earth which is the East. The word Easter, then, originally meant the celebration of the spring sun, which had its birth in the East and brought new life upon the earth. We also find this in John Richard Green's book "A short history of the English people" who was a honorary fellow of Jesus College, Oxford - published by MacMillan and Co, London 1902. Information is on page 4: "Behind these (he is talking of the worship of the German pagan gods by the Angles and Saxons) floated dim shapes of an older mythology; Eostre, (Easter) the goddess of the dawn or of the spring, who lends her name to the Christian festival of the Resurrection."

Is this in the bible: We should begin to keep the first day of the week (Sunday) in place of the seventh day.

The word Sunday does not appear in the Bible. The Sabbath appears 124 times and the term seventh day appears 52 times. The first day of the week appears in the New Testament eight times. Five of these in Matt.28:1; Mark.16:1,2; Mark.16:9; Luke.24:1 and John.20:1 and refer to Mary Magdalene and others coming to the tomb After Christ's resurrection. In John it says, "Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be with you". John.20:19. This is not a church or meeting place, it is a home and the disciples are hiding from the Jews for fear of their lives. Jesus had risen on Saturday and on the following day, Sunday, they were in hiding. The other times a meeting was on the first day of the week was Pentecost which fell on the first day of the week for hundreds of years when kept by the Jews and was called the feast of first fruits. Acts 20:7-8. "Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight. There were many lamps in the upper room where they were gathered together." The Sabbath was changed from Saturday to Sunday by Constantine in 321 AD and by the Roman Catholic church in 364 AD

Man changes what God teaches:
If God teaches that repentance is a turning from sin, man will teach that confession is all we need to do. If God teaches we should be baptized by complete submersion in water, man teaches we only need to be sprinkled with water, and causes people to believe that children can receive it as well. A child is not mature enough to make such a commitment no more then the child can decide whom to marry so contrary to some practices they should not be baptized. Man does this to make people think that getting baptized is some magical ceremony that insures one that they will go to heaven (but you must be baptized by them and be a member of their church!) The fact is that we get baptized to show our faith, repentance, and commitment to live the life Jesus wants us to live by the power of the Holy Spirit. If God commands us to keep the seventh day holy...man teaches people to keep the first day holy. It's called "Sunday" or the day of the sun.

If God teaches of seven holy days to be in remembrance of His plan of salvation, man teaches people to keep pagan holidays in order to get our minds off God. The pagan holidays accepted and given by the Catholic Church has mankind looking to tree, egg, and sun worship. Halloween is nothing more than the worship of the dead, and the god Hades which is Satan himself. There are many satanic gods being worshipped under the Christian banner today and will only get worse as time goes on. If God commands we should not eat pork, crabs, clams, Shark, or Catfish because they are scavengers and have poisons in their flesh, man seems to want to get people to eat them. If God commands us to worship Him only, and states we can't come to Him except by His son Jesus...man wants to worship other gods, and come to them through a false goddess claiming to be Jesus' mother who is dead as scripture denotes. If God teaches the dead are dead, and know nothing...man wants to get people to pray to all the dead saints of old. If God tells us there will be a resurrection, in the future when Jesus returns, misguided ministers teach we are going to heaven at death. If God tells us we will not become born again until the resurrection, and that's when those God calls will become Spirit...man teaches we are born again now, and we can receive the kingdom now, or that the kingdom is within us.

If God says the wicked will become ashes under the feet of the saints never to live again...man teaches that the wicked will be tormented in hell fire forever thus making our loving God appear sadistic. If God teaches salvation by grace with works as the fruits of grace...man teaches salvation by grace alone, and gets people thinking we do not need to produce works at all. If God commands we are NEVER to call any man Father (or Holy Father) except our Father in heaven who is Holy...man refers to a religious leader as "most holy father", or "reverend". If God teaches that those who receive the mark of the beast will be condemned, man teaches that they will repent and be in the kingdom at the last judgment. Who do you want to follow...man or the creator God?
