ALLIANCES FOR UNITY, PEACE AND SAFETY

WORLD COUNCIL OF CHURCHES

It was on the 23rd of August 1948, in Amsterdam, that the World Council of Churches was officially founded. 147 churches from different confessions and many countries came ,together to commit themselves to the ecumenical movement.

Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein. Hebrew 13:9.

14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18.

Here let it be known that the Lord Almighty, the God of Jacob calls all his children to come out from all religions where man is heeded rather than God. This means 'all', not only Catholic, also Jewish, Christian (this includes professed protestant/reformed apostate churches), Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Bahai, Mormon, Jehovah's Witness, etc. In essence, all that would follow men's opinions and traditions, rather than the clear instructions of the Holy Scriptures, with a 'Thus saith the Lord'.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; 1 Peter 2:9

We are not to make alliances with unbelievers, or make concessions with those that do not honor God. Instead, we must flee from those groups, churches, organizations; And rather, be separate, holy unto the Lord. Ye can not serve God and Mammon. (Matthew 6:24, Luke 16:13).
