RON PAUL ON 'FACE THE NATION' NOV. 11, 2007

Presidential Candidate Ron Paul on Face The Nation Nov. 11

Sun Nov 11, 2007 10:33 am

Ron Paul is possibly the only candidate that speaks so honestly and candidly that it may wind up hurting his chances to secure the Republican nomination. Ron Paul is having quite a "folksy" conversation with Bob Schieffer, they are essentially the same age, they appear to be getting on famously.

Now to the issue of the campaign. Ron Paul says exactly what he means, contrary to what any of the other candidates, from either party, would do. Ron Paul says we reward people (Countries), with money, who obtain Nuclear Weapons. Ron Paul makes it clear that we should not reward countries that obtain Nuclear Weapons.

Bob Schieffer is naming each of the issues Ron Paul is against, the United Nations, Income Tax, Social Security etc. Ron Paul countered Bob Schieffer by saying that for everything he is against he is very much in favor of something else. Ron Paul tells Bob Schieffer he is in favor of the "Constitution".

The issue for Ron Paul is that he needs to have a "broader appeal" in order to have any chance of winning the Nomination. Raising money is great, it is more important to have staffers that are savvy enough to know how best to use that money his campaign has raised.
