One Killed In Parking Garage Collapse At Charlotte's SouthPark Mall

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Authorities say a woman has died after
part of a mall parking deck collapsed in Charlotte, North Carolina.
A police spokeswoman says the woman crashed into the edge of the
parking deck's top level. A small part of the three-tier deck then
collapsed, and her car tumbled through the opening.
There are no other confirmed injuries.
Authorities say at least two vehicles were destroyed in the
incident at SouthPark Mall. An investigation is underway.
