How many Catholic Chief Justices are needed on the Supreme Court?

Souter is giving up what he once called "the world's best job in the world's worst city" :

How many Chief Justices must be Catholics before someone realizes that they are over-representing that segment of the American population? 25% of the U.S. is Catholic? Yet, 5 out of 9 on the Supreme Court are Roman Catholics.

As it stands, there are 5 catholics on the bench, now; Will President Obama add another Catholic to the Supreme Court? That would make them 6 out of 9, chief Justices.

Stay tuned and see the outcome of Justice Souter's replacement!
