The Ecumenical Movement

The Ecumenical Movement has arrived. This movement was inspired by Satan to gather all of the world's religions together under the umbrella of the Pope and Roman Catholicism. Those who doubted the Book of Revelation have, once again, been proven wrong. Even some so-called Fundamental or Fundamentalist Baptists have decided to join in with this movement.

Perhaps you are wondering what this "Ecumenical Movement" is? The Apostle John was quite amazed when he saw a vision of the Great Whore in Chapter 17 of Revelation. John was told that this Whore was a city, the city of Seven Mountains. Those who know geography, quickly recognize that this is the city of Rome. Rome is where the Vatican is. Rome is the seat of the Great Whore of Revelation.

Many these days hope for change, and seek to join up with the Great Whore and commit spiritual fornication with this Great Roman Catholic Whore. In today's apostasy, it is often thought to be "cool" or "in" for preachers to fornicate with this woman of ill-repute. Contemporary Christian Music (CCM), Bill Gaither, and others are on the forefront of this Ecumenical Movement, leading the drum beat back to Rome.

Bapticatholics and Pseudo-fundamentalists like the late Jerry Falwell are also leading the way back to Rome. Billy Graham and his son Franklin Graham are strongly pushing for Christians to join in spiritual fornication with this Great Whore.

Even movies such as the anti-Semitic Mel Gibson's "The Passion of The Christ" are helping Satan to promote the Whore. Yes, it does seem like most of Christendom is moving back toward Rome. Do indeed "All Roads Lead to Rome"?

In Revelation, Jesus commanded Christians to "come out" from the Ecumenical Movement. If you are a Christian, then you must obey Jesus and the Bible and "come out" from the Great Roman Catholic Whore. To disobey and refuse to come out from her is to disobey a direct command of Christ Himself.

If you are lost and have fallen into the Ecumenical Movement Sin, then you need to repent from committing fornication with the Great Whore, and trust Jesus to save you from your sin. Jesus can save you from any sin. The blood of Jesus covers sin!

Resist Evil. Say no to such sin. Trust Jesus. Do it today. Then get into a good Fundamentalist Baptist church. Don't put it off. Get ready for Eternity. Live for Jesus. Jesus is coming back again very soon. Get ready! .

.
P.S.
In opposition to the last statements in the above (otherwise Biblically-sound) article; I don't recommend joining any church that worships on Sunday!

  1. Below is a prayer written by Brother Roger and Mother Teresa:

Oh God, the father of all,
you ask every one of us to spread
Love where the poor are humiliated,
Joy where the Church is brought low,
And reconciliation where people are divided. . .
Father against son, mother against daughter,
    Husband against wife,
Believers against those who cannot believe,
Christians against their unloved fellow Christians.

It is okay to disagree with another Christian but it is not biblical to speak evil of anyone. Remember the parable of the Good Samaritan? The Samaritans were seen by the other Jews as evil and deeply sinful people, and yet, Jesus reminds us that sometimes others do a better job walking the walk than we do. Jesus has come “that all of them may be one” (John 17:20). Can hatred bring unity? And anyway, we must love our ‘enemies’, although all Christians are equally children of God. Let's disagree with love not hatred. This is NOT Christian. God Bless you =)

  2. Great prayer!

But, when you speak of "unity"; On what grounds are believers supposed to unite with non-believers? On error, pagan traditions, so-called infallible opinions of fallible bishops of Rome? I beg to differ, firend.
How many edicts, bulls, and decrees will it take before we are all "forced" to vow to the pope? I for one will not succumb to that trend in response to the tune
the pied piper of ecumenism is playing...

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
    Ephesians 5:11

For whoosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
    Matthew 12:50

Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
    2 Thessalonians 3:6

14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

    II Corinthians 6:14-18.

By the way: The social gosel is not Biblical, or the Present Truth!

Read Revelation 14: 6-12, that is the Everalasting Gospel, and the message for today (a day like Noah's and Lot's day); Not, we are going to eradicate poverty and ensure there is Prosperity, peace and safety globally.

That's Satan's gospel...He's gonna work it out and the long awaited millenium of peace and haromny will follow...All this without the help or intervention of the Lord Jesus Christ....I say no! That's not what my Bible predicts will happen shorlty.

You can jump on that bullet train. I want no part of that joyride.

    Maranatha.

    Maranatha.

  3. Different Christians define ecumenism (unity)differently. For Catholics, unity involves all Christians to be united with their church. For other Christians, unity is defined as accepting all Christians as valid Christians. Disagreeing with the Catholic establishment is understandable, but why say that the whore of Babylon in the book of Revelation is the Catholic Church? Maybe the pope's authority is false, but that does not mean that he is the anti-Christ. Because, in fact, he does not claim to be Christ. You disagree with the Catholic ecumenical movement and that is okay. Hoever, you are taking the imagery in the book of Revelation out of context.

About the social gospel you are right. But there is a difference between what Jesus taught and the social gospel. Jesus DID cure the sick and feed the poor. So we are required to do the same. Hoever, without God, these things are meaningless. We help others because in doing so we a) become more like Jesus and b) invite others to follow him. I look at the world and I am disappointed. Secularism and relativism are the two greatest evils of the world. In countries like France, God is condemned. We as Christians have a responsibility to spread the gospel, but how? Mere words alone are useless because Jesus taught through words and action. How can Christians be a witness to Christ in this world if there are 33,000 denominations plus countless non-denominational ones warring against each other. Protestants, Catholics, Orthodox, and Anglicans all are starting to realize that unity in some form is essential. Abortion is murder. Christians can at least come together to stand up for life.

  6. There is more though. Let's look at the Trinity for a moment. The Trinity is one God in three Persons. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are individual persons, and yet they are all One God. Now let's look at the Lord's Prayer. The first words are: "Our Father who art in Heaven.." The Church which is the body of Christ is united but is made up of individual people. Notice something? The Church is to be one not for any secular reason, but because God is One. When we pray "Our Father..." we say Our not My because the body is needed. Only by understanding this can we come to a clear understanding of Jesus' high priestly prayer in John 17. Let's listen to it carefully. "I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one; I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me." (v.20b-23). We must be united not because we are trying to create a Utopia, because we cannot, but because we are fulfilling Jesus' prayer, because only by doing so can we be true witnesses.

The Catholic Church believes that she is the True Church because she believes that Peter was the first pope who with the other apostles established the Church that was truly created by God. They cite Bible verses like Matthew 16:18-19, John 21:15-23, Acts 1:15-26, and Acts 8:14-17. Because of this, Catholics claim that Protestants and the Orthodox left the Church and thus must return for unity to be achieved. Of course, non-Catholics disagree. For many Protestants, belief in Trinity is ultimately what defines a Christian. However, we must work with the Catholics, not against them. Only through prayer, through God (and only through God), can we help create unity. God Himself will create the unity. "We are [only] unworthy servants; we have only done our duty" (Luke 17:10b). Of course, there are many Catholics who are hostile towards non-Catholics but this is not Jesus' prayer is it? I don't know about you, but I don't think the so-called religious wars of the 15th and 16th centuries were too Christian.

  15. First things first:

Your opinion is appreciated; but this barrage of repetitions is definitely out of line.

Without going into a prolonged theosophical dissertation to address your statements let me direct you to The Ten Commandments:

3Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

    5Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

6And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

7Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

8Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

12Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

    13Thou shalt not kill.

    14Thou shalt not commit adultery.

    15Thou shalt not steal.

16Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

17Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

    Exodus 20....

Look at the First one: "Thou shalt have no other gods before me".

What does it say about having other gods? "Mary" mother of God??????

Now look at the Second one:

"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

    Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments".

What does it say about bowing down? What does it say about images? Now compare that to your latest catechism (1995 version with Ratzinger's imprimatur). Can you find a Second Commandment talking about the "prohibition" of images? The answer is "no". Your beloved organization omitted that Commandment because it flies in the face of all the idols that fill your cathedrals.

    (continued)

    ReplyDelete
  16. (continues)

Next, the Fourth Commandment talks about the seventh day; where do you see anything about the first day of the week as the day of rest? This is Rome's greatest lie. It was originally Dies Solis or the day of the sun, an ancient Babylonian tradition that contradicts God's Holy Sabbath. Now, the church of Rome has deceived "the whole christian world" into believing this lie of a sun-day day of rest as a pillar of its doctrine and a mark of its authority.

These are just a minor observation, my friend. Now, about the Trinity: There is nothing in my Bible that speaks about a "trinity". It does however speak of a Godhead -

    In Acts 17:29:
Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

    In Romans 1:20:
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

    In Colossians 2:9:
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

The Trinity is a Catholic concept and title. I assuredly believe that the Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost are one. But, not that The Father, The Sun, and the virgin Mary are God! That is what the roman Catholic religion teaches if not directly, but in a subtle manner. No, Mary is not Co-redemer (mediatrix)according to the Bible; This lie is not of God, but satanic in nature.

Now, it would take a voluminous book to continue illustrating all the errors that the Catholic church teaches as its doctrines. For brevity's sake I suggest that you seach this sight and other links here contained for further edification. Lastly, the Apostle Peter was not the first pope. Your church twists the meaning of Jesus' words when He said:
"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and "upon this rock" I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it".
    Matthew 16:18

Jesus spoke of Himself as "The Rock", not Peter. This is fundamental to understand, or all other lies will be accepted blindly. Jesus is The Rock of Ages; The Chief Cornerstone; The Stumblingblock, etc. Get that through your head! Peter by the way was martyred by the Romans in Rome; The same Romans that now want to reinterpret his (Peter) role. Isn't this ironic? "Kill the messenger", then elevate him to Saint status?

So, please recognize that the Roman catholic church is not Christian, but a mish-mash of mainly pagan traditions, with a christian facade. In now way can it be a rallying point for unification of christian churches. Anyway, if you read your Bible studiously you will discern that "nowhere" is it prophesied thereof that mankind will achieve religious harmony "without" the re-appearance of Jesus The Christ. Why else would He return to Earth? To supervise what the Roman Catholic church achieved?
So, analyze what I've written here, and see if it jibes with the Holy Scriptures? If not go back to your rosaries, and catechism (doctrines of men), they will show how wrong your perception of what God's plan for the Gospel is. Not a brotherhood of man. That will be "only" achieved once the holy Angels and the King of Kings cleanses the Earth; and, not by human endeavors...

    "Thy" will be done....

    Don't you forget that!

BTW: Carnival: Latin - Carne-levare: Taking meat away...As before "lent"...Another catholic doctrine of men....Don't eat meat on Friday or on certain days 'cause the church says so?

So, please take your ecumenical sermons to India, or Lebanon; But, here where I stand (where we know what the beast of Rome is capable of) they don't pass the litmus or smell test (IQ test).
