Why Can't there be peace in the Middle East?

WHY CAN'T THERE BE PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST? Read the truth about history in Bill Hughes's books. By now, most of us realize that Columbus was not the first to discover America, by far. That falsehood about Columbus is just scratching the surface. There is much more, of great importance, that has been held from us in our schoolrooms across the land. We are now beginning to feel the results of our erroneous assumptions. It is time to sit up and take notice before it's too late!

"During the last two generations, there has been continual conflict in the Middle East. The bombings, bloodshed, crying, and the misery of war never seem to stop. What is the purpose of continuing this senseless killing? George Bush, on September 17, 2001 declared that America was fighting a CRUSADE against terrorism. Is it possible that the president realized that one of the key objectives in this current war on terrorism is about the City of Jerusalem? Beginning centuries ago, the Vatican desperately wanted Jerusalem.

The Holy City was considered a priceless treasure, but was blocked by the Jews. A plan had to be devised and implemented. The source of manpower that could do this job was the Arabs. The Vatican used it's considerable influence to create a messiah for the Arabs: a great leader, someone with charisma, whom they could train, thus creating a great army that could finally capture Jerusalem.

.
Muhammad became that person. Islam and the rise of Muhammad were an invention of the Catholic Church. The purpose for this new religion was the destruction of Jews and the followers of Christ, in order for the Vatican to rule the Middle East, and secure Jerusalem for the headquarters.

The religion of Islam gained great power in the world. The nomadic Arab tribes were joining forces in the name of Allah and his prophet. In the Koran, Jesus is regarded as only one of the prophets of God. According to this logic, if the pope were God's representative on earth, then he also must be a prophet. This caused the followers of Muhammad to fear and respect the pope as another "holy man." The Catholic Church helped to finance the building of massive Islamic armies in exchange for special favors, one of which was to grant possession of Jerusalem.

As time passed, the conquests of Islam developed as The Vatican expected . The pope asked for Jerusalem. But by now, the Arab generals felt the exhilaration of victory and would not give it up. Jerusalem was also the location of the "Dome of the Rock" the second most sacred place of the Islamic religion. The pope's carefully laid plans began to crumble before his eyes. (From Jack Chick, The Prophet , Chick Publications). The pope then raised up his own armies and called them Crusaders. Thus began the centuries of The Crusades as the Catholic Church sought to stop the advancement of Islam in Europe. But Jerusalem slipped out of the pope's reach. For nearly three centuries, the Catholic armies fought the Muslim armies for control of Jerusalem, and thereby to expand control over the nations.

Now comes the unfolding of the plan in our times. There is no intention for the terrorism, bombing, and killing to cease. When terrorism and killing get bad enough, the controlled news media will urge upon the blinded masses the need for a peacemaker to come to that troubled area to rule. That peacemaker will be the pope. Will there ever be peace in Israel? There will probably be peace for a brief interval when the pope is enthroned there. But the pope will soon thereafter start to exercise his authority to force the entire world to become Catholic as he did during the Dark Ages . From this will ensue a terrible time of trouble for the whole earth."
