This great petender remids me of the infamous Ferdinand Waldo Demara Jr. who faked several identities pretending to be a doctor, an egineer, a prison-warden, a sheriff deputy, and a lawyer. In fact, Demara's life story was written in a book, then filmed as a movie called "The Great Impostor." Dr. Ian Roberts's DECEPTION resembles Ferdinand Waldo Demara Jr.'s deception and megalomania, and both have Roman Catholic formation.
While Ferdinand Waldo Demara Jr. lived for several years with TRAPPIST Monks, as a matter of fact he lived at the New Melleray Abbey near Dubuque, Iowa; Recently, Dr. Ian Roberts was Superintendent of the Des Moines Independent Community School District, in Des Moines, Iowa.
Dr. Ian Roberts attended various CATHOLIC institutions, St. Francis College & St. John's University in New York City, and Washington D.C.'s GEORGETOWN University, America's oldest JESUIT higher-education institution.
And coincidently, 'IOWA' is where Dr. Ian Roberts was detained by ICE on an order of removal of a "criminal alien" and a public safety threat with deportation orders as of May 2024.
The similarities are impressive.
