Chris examines the history of the Crusades and the fight against Islam, versus the strength of the Puritans and Reformed armies that appeared as a result of the Protestant Reformation. Which were greater or more effective? Did the Protestant movement weaken Christianity in the West? Or strengthen it? How is it that Islam was completely subdued by the end of World War II so that John F. Kennedy remarked that the entire Middle East was in a subjugated condition during the 1960’s? Furthermore, we look at the history of how the Crusades ended and the possible reasons why the Holy Land was lost in the Middle Ages.
