We cannot serve God and mammon. The desire to obtain earthly riches will cause many to sacrifice eternal life. When we imitate the world and behave like the world we become worldly. When we become involved with unbelievers in our relationships and in business, Satan will use these relationships against us and cause us to compromise our faith. Our religious experience becomes contaminated with worldliness and we lose our peculiar distinction as the people of God. We are to have no fellowship and union with unbelievers. Christ requires separation from the world and to touch not the unclean thing!
