In this issue of the Last Trumpet Newsletter, we will use the Word of God, our God-given discernment, and prayer to examine a prevailing condition that is of the severest danger. I have dedicated the past twenty-eight years of my life to the Word of God and prayer, and I have been a watchman of the prophetic signs for the duration of my ministry. It never ceases to amaze me how so many things can be obvious, and yet the masses of people remain in a condition of indifference and abject apathy. I have come to realize that the people of this world, especially those of the United States of America, are in a spiritual slumber. Satan and his powers of antichrist governance have used various devices and methods to induce this spiritual slumber, and it is a deep and deadly sleep that has come upon America.
The above verses warn us of this very condition, and truly it is upon us. So many things happen in the darkness while people sleep. Men like Barack Obama become President, financial bailout bills are passed, climate bills are passed, and governmental health reform is advanced. Designer influenza viruses seem to appear from nowhere, which provide an excuse for inoculating countless millions of unsuspecting people. Never before has the world been in the condition it is now. Peace is constantly touted, yet we are always at war somewhere. Tares or weeds are being sown or planted among the wheat in this great spiritual field of the world, and confusion is everywhere. Religions are a great problem as well, especially those that wave the banner of "Christianity" and do not know the first thing about obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. The lamps of discernment have gone out.
There is a sleep from which some people never awaken. Some people die in their sleep, and this is also true in the spiritual sense. The United States of America is rapidly being destroyed, and people refuse to wake up and rise up to oppose the evil. Souls are being destroyed by mega-churches, televangelists, and religious organizations; and people sleep on while it happens. We must sound the alarm and bring people to the rude awakening of what is happening to them. It is almost over, and eternity is just ahead. The Apostle Paul wrote of this time we are now living in. In Romans 13:11-12 we read as follows: "And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light."
While our nation and the world sleep on, you can come fully awake right now and call upon the Lord Jesus with a true and sincere repentance. He will hear you and respond with salvation for your soul, and you will receive a great blessing and purpose in your life. Do it now! Time will come to an abrupt end very soon!
The Rise of Marxist Socialism in America!
Is the United States of America in a state of transition into a Marxist-socialist or even a communist country? Could the sleeping masses of people be so deceived and oblivious to what is going on that the unthinkable is happening? Most educated people are familiar with two books written by George Orwell. One is entitled 1984, and the other is entitled Animal Farm. Both books are about a one-world, communistic government that micro-manages every person. Those infamous words "Big Brother is watching you" came from the book 1984. In the book, the entire world becomes a panopticon, which means you are always being watched. But you don't know who's watching you. In the book Animal Farm, we find a microcosm of the world in the form of a happy farm of animals, protected by a firm constitution, which guarantees individual rights for all. Soon, a gradual but persistent takeover began to transform the farmyard into a communist-socialist state, and by the time many of the animals came fully awake it was too late. Here let it be noted that during the week following Obama's 100th day in office, the massive internet marketplace known as Amazon.com pulled these two books by Orwell on their Kindle electronic-book reader device, saying they are not authorized to be sold because of a questionable copyright violation. (1) They also flatly and assertively stated that there is no government conspiracy! Obama, like Adolph Hitler, must have realized that certain books needed to be eliminated so people would not catch on to what is happening to them! (Amazon has since re-added these books, likely due to public outcry.)
On August 6th, 2009, the U.S. Observer reported that Obama and the White House are compiling a list of enemies that oppose the Obama health plan. Obama called upon all Americans to report on each other if they detect opposition to Obama's plan. This includes e-mails and casual conversation. Here let it be noted for the benefit of any bemused doubting Thomas who may be reading this that Texas Senator John Cornyn called attention to this Obama list of enemies and demanded that Obama stop it. (2) I have no doubt that the hit list continues. The official White House blog also offered a website that Americans can use to "flag and report" each other. I will not list the name of that website in this newsletter for obvious reasons.
Every socialist/communist state also needs a propaganda ministry and the complete management of the news media. Even though the news media have been performing like trained seals for Obama, these were not enough. On July 30th, former CBS News anchor Dan Rather called for a "White House commission on public media" to be established. (3) This would mean that all news would be controlled by the White House in the name of democracy. This is nothing short of a propaganda ministry. We must remember Nazi Germany and Hitler's propaganda minister, Dr. Joseph Goebbels, who was given the job of deceiving the German people for their own good. It was Goebbels who said, "Think of the press as a great keyboard on which the government can play." I have no doubt that if Dr. Goebbels were still alive, Obama would hire him. Here is one more infamous quote from Dr. Joseph Goebbels: "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the state to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State." (4)
Strange things are happening in this government-in-transition. On July 9th, 2009, the United States Department of the Treasury posted a contractor job notice in an attempt to procure comedians to conduct "humor in the workplace programs." These programs are designed to relieve stress in the workplace for the workers in the Bureau of the Public Debt (BPD). (5) Considering the sad shape our country is in, is it a time to just laugh it off? When filthy humor is used in the presence of the misfortune of so many others, it is also a reaction to the spirit of antichrist. It is a mocking spirit of satanic laughter.
It also seems that Barack Obama has taken over the automobile industry in America. On July 15th, Obama put a firm stop on any attempts to restore relationships between the dealers of Chrysler and General Motors' products and their manufacturers. (6) Then came the "cash for clunkers" program. Here let it be noted that this program does nothing for the poor, who are driving the old "rust bucket" cars. They cannot afford to buy a new car even with the $4,500 government voucher. It was the middle class people that came running like squealing pigs to stick their snouts into the new government trough. Many hundreds of thousands of cars were turned in to the government, and of all of those, there were an estimated 560,000 that were in good to very good running condition. The government orders required the dealers to destroy these vehicles. They could not be resold. The dealers were ordered by law to pour an additive into the engines of all of these vehicles, which caused these beautiful engines to seize up and become useless blocks of metal. Then the cars were sent to the crushers for scrap. Many of these vehicles were as new as the model year 2001. There are so many people who could have used these vehicles. But Obama wants you to drive his cars. It is a strange spirit, but we know that Adolph Hitler did the same thing when he ordered the development and production of the Volkswagen, the "people's car," in Germany. Meanwhile, Hitler himself rode around in a gas-guzzling Mercedes. We know that Obama rides around in a heavy gas-guzzling car, which he calls "the beast." Would he be willing to send that car to the crusher?
The elitist attitude of the corrupt government officials reveals their complete lack of empathy for the ones that they call the "ordinary Americans." On July 16th, 2009, ABC News reported that a recent conference of executives for the Social Security Administration, held in Phoenix, Arizona, cost $700,000.00, including dancing girls and other entertainment. The event was held at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa. (7)
So much has happened since our country was handed over to a man who cannot even prove he is eligible to be President of the United States. Furthermore, there seems to be a general fear to criticize him in any way, which is a guaranteed right of every American. Obama does not understand that because he was not born in America. I applaud the courageous U.S. Army officer, Major Stefan F. Cook, who wanted to go to Afghanistan, but refused to go on orders from Barack Obama. He demanded clarification that Obama was a legitimate Commander in Chief, and he demanded proof that Obama was born in America. The Major also hired an attorney, and suddenly, the U.S. Army rescinded the orders. Major Cook's attorney issued the following statement: "It means that the military has nothing to show for Obama. It means that the military has directly responded by saying Obama is illegitimate, and they cannot fight it. Therefore, they are revoking the order. (8) This should have been front page news, but only WorldNetDaily featured the story!
What are Obama's long-range plans? Why is the U.S. Army advertising under their Careers & Jobs posting for workers to staff internment and resettlement camps? The military calls these camps confinement/correctional and detention/internment facilities. (9) The Marxist socialists will continue to move forward as long as people refuse to believe it is happening and continue to do nothing about it. I am sometimes told by people that they don't have time to pray. I believe the time is coming when all you have time for is prayer.
Your Health in the Hands of a Dictator!
One of the greatest controversies in America at this time is the Obama Health Care Reform proposal. On July 30th, 2009, Time Magazine reported that the Obama Administration has made great progress, but it is now being violently opposed by many. The article went on to say that Obama is suffering from frustration over the battle, and he considers it to be his most important domestic issue. (10) The many town hall meetings have become sessions of frenzied screaming and intense opposition to the Obama plan. Congressmen have been shouted down vehemently in these meetings throughout the United States. The response of Obama to all of his congressional emissaries that are holding these town hall meetings was, "Punch back twice as hard." (11)
The new health care plan is antichrist and completely evil. I make this bold statement for a number of reasons, and no, I am not worried about being reported to Obama's hit list. I am already on it, and probably in capital letters. One of the problems with this "Government insurance" is that it allows coverage for any and all abortions for whatever reason. This was verified by an Associated Press article dated August 6th, 2009. (12) The article clearly states, "Since abortion is a legal medical procedure, experts on both side say not mentioning it would allow health care plans in the new insurance exchange to provide unrestricted coverage."
Included in Obama's health care plan is a very dangerous provision that would encourage euthanasia of the elderly. A former New York lieutenant governor, Betsy McCaughey, is actively trying to get the word out about this insidious danger of the health care reform act. McCaughey issued the following statement: "The provision requires senior citizens to submit to end-of-life consultations. Congress would make it mandatory, absolutely require, that every five years, people in Medicare have a required counseling session that will tell them how to end their life sooner. The bill expressly says if you get sick somewhere in that five year period, you have to go through that session again - all to do what is in society's best interest, or your family's best interest, and cut your life short." (13) Even former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, in reference to this provision, said that Obama's plan is "downright evil." Palin also referred to a "death panel" that would deny care to certain Americans. (14)
When I think of all the nursing homes I have been in to sing and minister the Word of God to the beloved elderly people, I realize how vulnerable these people are. Many of them are so drugged and controlled that they would say yes to anything. Highly trained, smiling, end-of-life counselors could and would easily persuade these people to end their lives. What a great evil is rising up! Who is this strange President, and what will he try to do next? We remember Adolph Hitler and his Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, or Nazi party, with its hard-line policies to eliminate what were called "useless eaters." The German people did not know what they were getting into with Der Fuehrer as an answer man. Germany was in financial ruin, and numerous other problems prevailed, just like in the United States at the time Obama stepped in and promised change and hope! The same evil spirits that drove dictators before did not die with those dictators. They moved forward to new human stooges and are somewhere right now. The Bible tells us the ultimate dictator will arise in the last days. How long will it be until people awaken from their spiritual death sleep and realize they are living out the final prophecies of the Bible? They will either come fully awake or die in their sleep. I pray to Almighty God for a great awakening! One good thing that is happening right now is a strong push by certain senators to eliminate the end-of-life provision from the national health care plan. I pray that it is removed!
The Planned Pandemic!
One story seems to predominate the news, and it coincides with Obama's health care reform. I am referring to the "swine flu campaign." When schools reopen nationwide, millions of young people are scheduled to receive immunizations against this designer virus that seemed to appear from nowhere. We know that conspiracy has always been the method of Satan's operation. We find this to be true throughout the Word of God. Things don't just happen to happen; they happen because someone wants them to happen. In the July 16th, 2009, edition of the New England Journal of Medicine on page 225, we find the following words: "The current international pandemic caused by a novel influenza A (H1N1) virus derived from two unrelated swine viruses, one of them a derivative of the 1918 human virus, adds to the complexity surrounding this persistent progenitor virus, its descendants, and its several lineages." (15) Quite obviously, this did not happen by itself, but was manufactured for use in both manipulating and reducing the population of the world. Strangely enough, the flu is not as dangerous as the vaccine that is supposed to prevent it!
One type of anti-flu drug that has been used is known as Tamiflu. On July 31st, 2009, the London Times newspaper featured an article with the following headline: "Tamiflu causes sickness and nightmares in children." The article goes on to tell how a significant number of children who received the anti-flu immunization developed an inability to think clearly. Nightmares and strange behavior followed. (16) We have now also learned that one of the ingredients being used to make the new vaccine for the H1N1 flu vaccine is derived from the kidneys of diseased monkeys, whose kidneys are harvested for that specific purpose. (17) We must also bear in mind that monkeys in Africa were used to host the HIV AIDS virus when it was being developed and thrust upon the world several decades ago. This is all Satan's business and the workings of conspiratorial darkness.
America - Looking Up to See Bottom!
Regardless of what anyone says, it is becoming quite evident that the erstwhile great economic superpower of the world, the United States of America, is in deep trouble. The news media is so reluctant to use the word depression, but that is exactly what we are in. On August 1st, 2009, which happens to be a high cross-quarter witches' sabat, Bloomberg News Service announced that the current "recession" is the worst since the Great Depression. The article also stated that during the past twelve months we saw the economy shrink more than twice as much as previously estimated. (18) On July 31st, 2009, which is the eve of that same witches' sabat, Federal regulators shut down more banks in five different states, namely Florida, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Illinois. (19) On August 14th, 2009, the giant bank Colonial Bancgroup failed and was taken over by the Federal Government. The assets of this bank exceeded 25 billion dollars, and the bank is now in receivership as a failure. (20) According to an Associated Press article published on July 12th, countless other banks are near the point of collapse and are only delaying their day of reckoning! (21)
While the financial systems of our nation continue to fail, the government is finding their tax revenues shrinking. They are estimating a drop of 18% in Federal tax collected for 2009. (22) While this problem grows continually worse, the government continues to spend money like a drunken sailor. The White House recently awarded the following purchases: $1,191,200.00 for sliced ham, $351,807.00 to replace and upgrade the dumbwaiter, $1,562,568.00 for mozzarella cheese, $5,708,260.00 for process cheese, $16,784,272.00 for canned pork, $1,444,100.00 to repair a door in building 5112, and $541,119.00 to install one traffic signal. (23)
Is there a curse on our U.S. Government with its policies on baby killing, euthanasia, homosexuality, and so on? It seems like everything the government does costs at least three times as much as it should and is only half as efficient. Everything they touch moves toward ruin and demise! Since Obama personally fired the head of General Motors and GM became Government Motors with the Feds controlling 66.666 percent of the company, global sales plummeted 22 percent! (24) Obama promised change, and what have we seen thus far? We have learned that the May-June joblessness rate is up dramatically in 90 percent of American metropolitan areas. (25) The state of Michigan has been hit hard with an unemployment rate of 15.2 percent. (26) In the little state of Rhode Island, 1,200 businesses are currently facing closure because they cannot pay their sales taxes. (27) All of these troubles have brought forth a nation of depressed people, who have run to doctors and druggists for help. In the year 2008 alone, more than 164 million prescriptions have been written for antidepressants. The costs of these drugs were 9.6 billion dollars! (28) New Orleans, Louisiana, is a city that has literally gone mad; insanity rates have doubled in that accursed city. The last mental hospital in New Orleans will be closing on September 1st for lack of funding. (29) New Orleans has long been a stronghold of satanic perversion, witchcraft, voodoo, and every evil of the worst kind. Many thousands are wandering the streets in a mental stupor of madness, reaping only a fraction of the penalties of rebellion against Almighty God!
The economies of the entire world are in transition toward the one-world economy soon to emerge. Even something as basic as water will soon be traded on the just market like oil and other commodities now traded, according to predictions made by the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. (30) In fact, water summits are now being held in various places in the world, including Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and the country of Israel, to deal with growing water demands and severe shortages. (31)
We have now learned that Red China is buying vast amounts of metals, primarily copper. Many experts in the field of economics are predicting that copper will be the new standard for the world currency system. (32) I am amazed at this, especially when I consider that we were once on the gold standard, then on silver, and now heading towards copper, I immediately thought of Daniel 2:31-33 which reads as follows: "Thou, O King, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass. His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay." The third metal is called brass in the Scripture and was actually bronzed copper. The image in Daniel, chapter two, represented world government, as is clear from the context of the chapter. As we read on in Daniel, chapter two, we will find that when the copper system fails, we will be under the iron fist of the Beast, who will be broken and destroyed by the return of the Lord Jesus Christ!
Upheaval in the Creation!
Political leaders from around the world, including Barack Obama, are gearing up for the forthcoming Copenhagen Treaty to halt global warming. One-world government bodies such as the G-8 and the G-20 have already committed their respective nations to cut the use of fossil fuels more than 80 percent. To accomplish this in the United States, it would require the shutting down of virtually all economic activity, meaning no electricity, no transport, and no industry. It is all a scam and a hoax. Even though Al Gore recently compared our war against global warming to battling the Nazis, all computer models and statistics show that the earth is actually cooling. In fact, it has cooled to levels it was at thirty years ago. (33) I have no doubt that the unusually cool weather this summer in the majority of the United States is a statement from the Almighty, just to make monkeys out of these conspirators that are so in need of a gimmick to promote their cause. The whole global warming concept is a gimmick to promote a "save the planet" movement that is to weld people together in an antichrist system. It is interesting to note that in Al Gore's home state of Tennessee, there was such a wave of cooling this summer that previous records were broken. On July 21st during the heat of summer, Nashville, Tennessee, temperatures dropped to 58 degrees Fahrenheit, which broke the low temperature record for that day in 1877 when Rutherford B. Hayes was President. (34)
In the Bible we find no direct predictions by our Saviour for global warming. The real global heat will be felt on Judgment Day when the lake of fire looms largely against the ungodly! We are seeing many other signs happening right now as predicted by our Saviour! NASA astronomers have recently discovered a new monster black hole in space that is sucking up gas, dust, and stars at a rapid rate. (35) Many strange things are happening in space involving major shifts that have never been known to happen before.
One of the great signs that our Saviour told us to watch for at the very end is the number and intensity of earthquakes happening in various areas throughout the world. It is to be like a woman in the travail of giving birth with the labor pains getting closer together and more intense. In the past 30 days, as of August 15th, 2009, there have been 324 earthquakes with a magnitude of at least 4 or greater. Many of these quakes were intense, and they are now happening closer together. (36) The world should have been stunned by a true act of God on July 22nd, 2009, when a massive earthquake moved the nation New Zealand a full foot closer to Australia. (37) We cannot begin to imagine the amount of energy it would take to do that.
On August 3rd, 2009, a strong 6.9 magnitude quake struck Baja California, and it rattled buildings as far away as San Diego. (38) On August 10th, 2009, a powerful 6.6 earthquake shook the Tokyo area of Japan. This quake came from a depth of 12 miles. (39) On that same day of August 10th, 2009, another powerful quake struck near India in the region of the Andaman Islands. The magnitude was 7.6. (40) These are major upheavals, and they are intensifying. On August 13th, 2009, the third of three major quakes in what can be called rapid succession struck Tokyo, Japan. There is now great fear that the giant quake is about to happen, which would decimate Tokyo, the world's largest city. (41)
Truly, these are the last days, and another great sign has happened. On July 14th, 2009, the Assyrian International News reported that the great river Euphrates is drying up and is reduced to a trickle in some areas. (42) We understood this in the spiritual sense, but it is literally about dried up in Iraq. The drying up of this great and ancient river, dating back to the Garden of Eden, has caused a plague of swarms of poisonous snakes to enter into populated areas, and people are fleeing in terror. (43) In Revelation 16:12 we are told of this great sign!
