We Followed The World's Deadliest Migration Route - TRAILER

We Followed The World's Deadliest Migration Route - TRAILER

Muckraker

Oct 13, 2026

Muckraker's new documentary, Replacing Europe: Following the World's Deadliest Migration Route documents what nobody is meant to see. Brothers Anthony and Joshua Rubin followed one of the deadliest illegal immigration routes on Earth from Africa to the Canary Islands, Spain, and France, ending in the United Kingdom.

By covertly engaging with migrants, NGOs, and criminal organizations, Muckraker exposed what is meant to be hidden from the public: European governments are not merely tolerating this shift. They are facilitating, encouraging, and funding it.

Replacing Europe will drop October 14th, exclusively on Muckraker.

NAIROBI, Kenya (Morning Star News) – Two pastors were discharged from a hospital in eastern Uganda on Sunday (Feb. 8) after a group of Muslim extremists beat them more than a week before, sources said.

Pastor John Michael Okoel and Assistant Pastor Abraham Omoding of New Life Church in Pallisa, about 200 kilometers (120 miles) northeast of Kampala, were returning home from an all-night prayer meeting at 4 a.m. on Jan. 30 when five masked men dressed in Islamic attire stopped them at Osupa Swamp along the Pallisa-Mbale Highway, Pastor Okoel said.

The attackers were armed with sticks and knives when they confronted the pastors, accusing them of blasphemy and attempting to convert Muslims, he said.

“They began accusing us of lying about Allah, preaching that Allah has a Son and converting their brothers and sisters,” Pastor Okoel told Morning Star News. “Before I could respond, one of them, Ali Kitaali, slapped me, cut me near my mouth and hit my knee and hand. I fell unconscious.”

The assailants threatened to kill them and appeared determined to end their lives, he said.

“They then attacked my assistant pastor, fracturing his arm, knocking out two teeth, and beat him badly on the back,” Pastor Okoel said.

Abia: Worshippers sent out as Adventist Church seals headquarters over leadership crisis

The church leaders sent the worshippers out of the church premises and locked the gate with a padlock immediately after Saturday’s service.

NEWS AGENCY OF NIGERIA • SEPTEMBER 23, 2023

Seventh-day Adventist Church

The Seventh Day Adventist Church on Saturday sealed off its Abia North Conference at Umuoriehi, in Umuahia North Local Government Area, over a leadership crisis rocking the headquarters.

The church leaders sent the worshippers out of the church premises and locked the gate with a padlock immediately after Saturday’s service.

They displayed placards with different inscriptions at the gate, such as “Sealed,” “End of an era,” and “We pray for a new era of unity, peace, mission-mindedness and genuine spirituality,” among others.

Speaking with reporters, Godson Chukwuocha, leader of the Umuahia/Ubakala/Umunneochi Zone, said they were ending the leadership crisis that had lingered at the church headquarters for the past four years.

Mr Chukwuocha said the members were assembled from the 17 districts that make up the conference.

He said the church decided to pass “a vote of no confidence” in Pastor Enyinnaya Uguru with his executive and asked them to leave office because their tenure had expired.

Mr Chukwuocha said Mr Uguru and his executive had been occupying the position for the past 12 years and had refused to leave, as against the church policy of four-year tenure.

He explained that their tenure expired in February, but the union, which is superior to the Conference, extended it to August after the plea by Uguru and his executive.

“The union again extended it and expected them to organise another election and hand over to a new executive between September 21 and September 23, but they refused,” he said.

Also, Iroabuchi Alozie, the secretary of the zone, said the church has a policy document that stipulates a four-year tenure.

According to him, today (Saturday) is supposed to have been the swearing-in of the new executive.

“But because we are men and women of integrity, we will not watch impunity continue in the Church of God.

“This is the fourth year we are in this crisis, and we cannot continue like this. We want to stop it now,” said Mr Alozie, the Umuahia District’s secretary.

The district leader, Adventist Women Ministry, Priscilla Ogidi, said the women had pleaded with Mr Uguru and his executive to leave the office for peace to reign, but they refused.

A pastor in Umuahia District, Festus Uzochukwu, expressed displeasure over the leadership crisis, saying, “This is God’s church, and there’s no battle anybody can fight for God.”

Eberechi Uwaoma, the assistant secretary of the youth wing in the district, said the church hierarchy was aware of the crisis and had ordered Mr Uguru and his executive to vacate, but they didn’t.

Mr Uguru or any of his executives could not be reached for comment despite attempts by reporters, as they were said to have left their residences in the church premises before the service.

Agenda 2063

Agenda 2063

Agenda 2063 is a set of initiatives proposed and currently under implementation by the African Union.[1] It was adopted on 31 January 2015 at the 24th Ordinary Assembly of the Heads of State and Governments of the African Union in Addis Ababa.[2] The call for such an agenda was first made by the 21st Ordinary Assembly on 26 May 2013,[3] 50 years after the foundation of the Organisation of African Unity, as a plan for the next 50 years. The stated goals of the Agenda are economic development (including the eradication of poverty within one generation), political integration (in particular through the establishment of a federal or confederate United Africa), improvements in democracy and justice, establishment of security and peace on the entire African continent, strengthening of cultural identity through an "African renaissance" and pan-African ideals, gender equality, and political independence from foreign powers.[4]

The First Continental Report on the Implementation of Agenda 2063 was presented by President Alassane Ouattara of Côte d’Ivoire[5] on 10 February 2020, marking the beginning of a biennial reporting cycle. It measures progress against a set of goals defined for the first Ten-Year Implementation Plan and was launched together with an interactive online dashboard showing progress in individual areas of the Agenda as well as geographical regions.[5]

Flagship projects

The Agenda includes 15 flagship projects, which have been identified as being key to enabling and accelerating progress in all areas of development.[6] These are:

  • A high-speed train network connecting all African capitals and commercial centres
  • The formulation of a strategy for transforming the African economy from a supplier of raw materials to one that actively uses its own resources
  • The establishment of the African Continental Free Trade Area
  • The introduction of the African Union Passport, and removal of all visa requirements for its holders within Africa
  • Ending all wars, civil conflicts, gender-based violence, and violent conflicts by 2020
  • The construction of a third Inga Dam
  • The establishment of the Single African Air-Transport Market
  • The establishment of an Annual African Economic Forum
  • The establishment of a set of financial institutions, envisaged as an African Investment Bank, a Pan-African Stock Exchange, an African Monetary Fund, and an African Central Bank
  • A pan-African digital data network
  • The development of a common African strategy for the use of outer-space technology
  • The establishment of an African open, digital, distance-learning university
  • Cooperation on cyber security
  • The foundation of a Great African Museum, preserving African cultural heritage and promoting pan-Africanism
  • The compilation of an Encyclopaedia Africana as an authoritative resource on the authentic history of Africa and African life.
  • Implementation

The African Continental Free Trade Area (ACFTA) was established by an agreement adopted in March 2018 and will be operational from 1 July 2020.[7] The African Investment Bank and African Monetary Fund are nominally established, with headquarters to be built in Tripoli, Libya and Yaoundé, Cameroon, respectively. Egypt is set to host the African Space Agency.[8] The Pan African Virtual and E-University (PAVEU) has been created as the digital arm of the Pan-African University and is offering an initial set of three courses.[9]

Many of the projects are held back by lack of funding, such as the high-speed train network, the space agency, and the Inga Dam.[10]

“Like Something Out Of The Book Of Exodus”

“Like Something Out Of The Book Of Exodus”: Locust Armies Are Devouring Entire Farms In Kenya “In As Little As 30 Seconds”

Locust armies numbering in the billions are absolutely ravaging large portions of eastern Africa and vast stretches of the Middle East. We are being told that these locust armies “are unprecedented in size and scope”, which means that we have never seen anything like this before. And as you will see below, the UN continues to warn that the number of locusts could get “500 times bigger” by June. But even if this plague ended right now, millions of people would still be facing a devastating famine in the months ahead. These locusts travel in swarms up to 40 miles wide, each one can eat the equivalent of its own body weight every day, and the swarms can travel close to 100 miles in a 24 hour period. This is a nightmare of epic proportions, and it is just getting started.

National Geographic has never been known to sensationalize news stories, but even they are saying that this plague is “like something out of the Book of Exodus”…

East Africa is in the midst of a crisis that sounds like something out of the Book of Exodus: A plague of locusts is spreading across the region, threatening the food supply of tens of millions. City-sized swarms of the dreaded pests are wreaking havoc as they descend on crops and pasturelands, devouring everything in a matter of hours. The scale of the locust outbreak, which now affects seven East African countries, is like nothing in recent memory.

Some of the largest swarms are actually bigger than any city on the entire planet, and when they arrive in an area they start going to work immediately.

In fact, it is being reported that some farms in Kenya “are being devoured in as little as 30 seconds”…

The locusts are so bad in some parts of Kenya that entire fields of crops are being devoured in as little as 30 seconds.

Caritas ‘outraged’ by child abuse scandal uncovered by CNN

Caritas Internationalis, a network of Catholic charitable organizations, urged its regional branches on Thursday to vet their staff and volunteers. It comes after CNN published an investigation into Father Luk Delft, a convicted abuser, who was moved to the Central African Republic by his religious order to work in a key role at the charity.

“We express our compassion and solidarity with the children and their families. We thank those who have come forward. They have our full support in telling their truth,” Aloysius John, the secretary general of Caritas Internationalis, said in a statement published on its website.

Delft, who had been convicted in Europe before going to work for the charity, has been accused of abusing at least two boys in the CAR.

The 50-year-old priest was only removed from the post after CNN revealed the new accusations against him to his superiors in the Salesians of Don Bosco, a religious order established specifically to protect children.

“Caritas Internationalis understands that those responsible have ensured that the accused is no longer in the Central African Republic, and both civil and religious authorities have been notified and are investigating the allegations,” the charity said.

It said it was assisting the local Caritas organization in CAR as it investigates the allegations.

“We thank those who have come forward. They have our full support in telling their truth. At Caritas, we are constantly working to improve our safeguarding of children both in the Central African Republic and in the rest of the world where Caritas works to help people in need. Our first duty is to protect those we serve,” the secretary general added.

Africans Comprise a Large and Growing Share of Migrants to Europe

The European Commission announced that that migrant and refugee arrivals in Europe via the Mediterranean Sea number 134,004 as of December 5, 2018, down from 179,536 during the same period in 2017. The year that saw the highest number of arrivals, 1,015,078, was 2015. While Italy experienced the biggest drop, arrivals actually increased in Spain and Greece. Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Nigeria, and Pakistan have remained the largest countries of origin since 2014; since then, almost one million Syrians have sought asylum in the Europe

Sub-Saharan Africans make up an large portion of those living outside their country of origin globally, and remain a significant and growing part of the migrant and refugee flow, especially those arriving in Italy and Spain. In Italy, in numerical order, the largest countries of origin were Tunisia, Eritrea, Sudan, Nigeria, and Pakistan. In Spain, it was Guinea, Morocco, Mali, and Ivory Coast. Spain retains two enclaves on the North African coast, Ceuta and Melilla, and many Africans go there to seek refugee asylum, sometimes storming border walls.

The prominence of Nigeria as an origin for migrants and refugees probably owes much to the fact that the country is by far most populous in Africa, comprising roughly one-sixth of the continent’s people. The other African countries of migrant and refugee origin—Eritrea, Sudan, Mali, Ivory Coast—are involved in internal conflict or are just emerging from it. Even though by Western standards migrants and refugees are desperately poor, they still need some money to afford to make it to Europe. The poorest of the poor, such as the internally displaced in northeast Nigeria, lack the resources to even try.

The Interior Ministry issued thousands of deportation notices on Sunday to single Eritrean and Sudanese men of working age who entered Israel illegally, demanding that they leave the country within 60 days for an unspecified third country or be forcefully removed, or imprisoned.

However, noting already overcrowded prison conditions, an unidentified senior Israel Prison Service official told the National Security Council that the nation will not be able to house more than 1,000 additional inmates due to a lack of space and funding.

The ministry recently announced that married men, women and children will not be subjected to forced deportation or imprisonment for the time being.

Last month, Rwanda Ambassador Olivier Nduhungirehe issued a strongly-worded denial on Twitter about ongoing reports that his government had made a secret deal with Israel to accept forcefully deported migrants at $5,000 per person.

There are approximately 38,000 African migrants in Israel, 20,000 of whom reportedly will be mailed Sunday’s ultimatum.

According to the Hotline for Refugees and Migrants, since 2013, the ministry’s Population, Immigration and Border Authority has only reviewed 6,500 of the 15,000 asylum applications submitted, and approved 11.

Sunday’s notice subject line, sent from the authority, reads: “Notice on the arrangement of your departure from Israel to a safe third country,” although nowhere in the letter is that country identified.

Instead, the notice describes a country “that in the past decade has developed tremendously and that receives thousands of returning residents and immigrants from various African countries.”

“In recent years,” the notice continues, “it has been showing some of the highest economic growth figures in Africa, thanks to exports to Europe and the United States, as well as to the flourishing tourism industry.

“This country enjoys stability in its regime, which has contributed to developments in many fields, including education, medicine and infrastructure.”
