Something deeply troubling is happening right now, and Christians need to look closer at what is being promoted by this event. We are witnessing a massive global delusion that is subtly twisting Biblical truth and leading millions into a modern gnostic deception.

It is happening now behind the scenes of the Christ is king movement, and we must use Biblical discernment to see who is really pulling the strings. Christ is not a "spacecraft" or "comet" sent to rescue us from a Demiurge.

Turn to Jesus Christ today, repent, believe.. be saved by faith in His blood. 

And stay awake. The time is short.

The Bible is God’s revealed Word to us, not our word to make applicable to the cultural moment.

Two recent news stories point to the crisis of biblical literacy, not only of knowing the biblical text but in properly understanding it. An editorial published at the Washington Post by Princeton professor Gregory Conti (a self-professed “non-believer”) explained how common it is for college students to not know the basics of Christianity:

(They) seldom recognize the allusions to the Bible that appear in Shakespeare’s work or in Lincoln’s second inaugural address (or in Obama’s first, for that matter) . . . their ignorance of religious ideas means they struggle to understand a wide array of Western art, literature, and philosophy.

In short, the lack of Biblical knowledge means they are unable to understand American history and culture.

Another New York Times story profiled the pastor and the church of Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico. According to the article, Pastor Jim Rigby of St. Andrews’s Presbyterian Church in Austin, Texas, welcomes new members by:

…handing them a new copy of the Inclusive Bible, an unusual feminist translation St. Andrew’s has used since the 1990s. In Genesis, instead of saying that God created a man, Adam, the translation first refers to an “earth creature.” It often uses the term “kindom” of God in place of “kingdom,” which it deems classist.

The Inclusive Bible is promoted as “the first egalitarian translation.” In addition to replacing the male pronouns for God and humankind, it purports to “re-imagin(e) . . . the [S]criptures and our relationship to them.” The innovative version promotes progressive Christianity and includes a strong postmodern emphasis, rejecting absolute “truth” in favor of a newly created narrative.

Those who only read the Inclusive Bible will not really know the truth of Scripture, any more than those who never read any version. Nor can they understand a culture inspired by and built from, mostly, the King James Version. And yet, that is actually the point of the postmodern way of approaching reality: there is no truth to be known or revealed, only that which is constructed.

I saw the rapping delusion. Satan has power to bring the appearance of forms before us purporting to be our relatives and friends that now sleep in Jesus. It will be made to appear as if they were present, the words they uttered while here, which we were familiar with, will be spoken, and the same tone of voice which they had while living will fall upon the ear. All this is to deceive the world, and ensnare them into the belief of this delusion.

I saw that the saints must have a thorough understanding of the present truth, which they will have to maintain from the Scriptures. They must understand the state of the dead; for the spirits of devils will yet appear to them, professing to be beloved friends and relatives, who will declare to them unscriptural doctrines. They will do all in their power to excite sympathy, and work miracles before them, to confirm what they declare. The people of God must be prepared to withstand these spirits with the Bible truth that the dead know not any thing, and that they are the spirits of devils.

I saw that we must examine well the foundation of our hope, for we shall have to give a reason for it from the Scriptures; for we shall see this delusion spreading, and we shall have to contend with it face to face. And unless we are prepared for it, we shall be ensnared and overcome. But if we do what we can on our part to be ready for the conflict that is just before us, God will do his part, and his all-powerful arm will protect us. He would sooner send every angel out of glory to make a hedge about faithful souls, than that they should be deceived and led away by the lying wonders of Satan.

I saw the rapidity with which this delusion was spreading. A train of cars was shown me, going with the speed of lightning. The angel bade me look carefully. I fixed my eyes upon the train. It seemed that the whole world was on board. Then he showed me the conductor, who looked like a stately fair person, whom all the passengers looked up to and reverenced. I was perplexed, and asked my attending angel who it was. Said he, It is Satan. He is the conductor in the form of an angel of light. He has taken the world captive. They are given over to strong delusions, to believe a lie that they may be damned. His agent, the next highest in order to him, is the engineer, and others of his agents are employed in different offices as he may need them, and they are all going with lightning speed to perdition. I asked the angel if there were none left. He bade me look in an opposite direction, and I saw a little company traveling a narrow pathway. All seemed to be firmly united, and bound together by the truth.

William Miller's 14 Rules of Bible Interpretation

Those who are engaged in proclaiming the third angel’s message are searching the Scriptures upon the same plan that Father Miller adopted. In the little book entitled “Views of the Prophecies and Prophetic Chronology,” FatherMiller gives the following simple but intelligent and important rules for Bible study and interpretation:– {RH,
November 25, 1884 par. 23}

“1. Every word must have its proper bearing on the subject presented in the Bible; 2. All Scripture is necessary, and may be understood by diligent application and study; 3. Nothing revealed in Scripture can or will be hid from those whoask in faith, not wavering; 4. To understand doctrine, bring all the scriptures together on the subject you wish to know, then let every word have its proper influence; and if you can form your theory without a contradiction, you cannot be in error; 5. Scripture must be its own expositor, since it is a rule of itself. If I depend on a teacher to expound to me, and he should guess at its meaning, or desire to have it so on account of his sectarian creed, or to be thought wise, then his guessing, desire, creed, or wisdom is my rule, and not the Bible.” {RH, November 25, 1884 par. 24} The above is a portion of these rules; and in our study of the Bible we shall all do well to heed the principles set forth. {RH, November 25, 1884 par. 25}

RULES OF INTERPRETATION

IN studying the Bible, I have found the following rules to be of great service to myself and now give them to the public by special request. Every rule should be well studied, in connexion with the scripture references, if the Bible student would be at all benefited by them. {1842 WiM, MWV1 20.1}

The final movements will be rapid ones

The world is to be no criterion for us. Great changes are very soon to take place in our world, and the final movements will be rapid ones. Agencies from beneath have been set in operation by the powers of darkness, and they are working in secrecy and have advanced faster than any of us have calculated. Satan, with his whole confederacy of evil, is stirred to intense fervor, and plans that have been made only wait a favorable moment for open development. All things are getting into a state of readiness, and while those who believe have been contending over little matters, drawing apart from each other, each seeking to have and vindicate his own way, the powers of evil have been strengthening for the last great crisis.

The church of God who have had great light are called upon to have works corresponding to their light. Considering our superior advantages, and knowing that we must be judged by the light and privileges bestowed, what can we offer as a justification of our conduct? Like Capernaum we have been exalted to heaven in point of privilege. The precious light, freely given to us of God, was not given to Sodom or Gomorrah, or they might have remained unto this day. If the mighty works and knowledge and grace of God had been made manifest to the nations who are in heathen darkness, we know not what they might have been. They might have been far in advance of what we are in Christian lands today.

The world is uneasy, restless, apprehensive that they are on the eve of some great event. Look where we will, men’s hearts are failing them for fear. Impulse and excitement are bearing sway. As children of the light, we should now manifest zeal and deep earnestness for Christ and be constantly watchful, offering unceasing prayer that we may stand in our lot and place, having an eye single to the glory of God. We need to go weighted with the truth, having in our heart Christ’s love for souls. We should be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. We are to be quickened by the Holy Spirit, that we may discern, and not be ignorant of Satan’s devices.

 Recently, some people have been talking about hybrids that existed before the Great Flood. According to their interpretation of Genesis, chapter 6, these creatures were the offspring of humans and extraterrestrial beings. They call these supposed creatures NEPHILIM. The strangest part of all is that even some atheists "believe" this...

And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Genesis 6: 1-4.

Finally, when tempted by the Sadducees about marriage after the Resurrection in Matthew 22: 28-30, Jesus refutes this unfounded Nephelim hypothesis when He answered:

Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
