You'll Never Watch Disney the Same Way Again (Documentary)

You'll Never Watch Disney the Same Way Again (Documentary)

Taylor Alesia

What if the Disney movies we grew up loving have been teaching us more than we ever realized?

In this documentary, we take a closer look at the disturbing patterns woven throughout Disney films, the messages hidden in plain sight, and how they compare to what Scripture teaches us. From rebellion and following your heart to spiritual deception, it’s time to examine the stories we’ve welcomed into our homes through a biblical lens.

My prayer is that this documentary encourages you to think critically, exercise discernment, and see these familiar stories in an entirely new light.

♡ Thanks so much for watching! If you’re new here, subscribe for videos that help you grow in your faith, think biblically, and follow Jesus in everyday life. ✞

FCC chair threatens ABC and Disney over Jimmy Kimmel’s remarks about Charlie Kirk

FCC chair Brendan Carr threatened to "take ...

The Federal Communications Commission’s Trump-aligned chairman on Wednesday threatened to “take action” against Disney and ABC over Jimmy Kimmel’s recent comments about Charlie Kirk’s suspected killer.

During his Monday evening monologue, Kimmel suggested Kirk’s alleged killer, Tyler Robinson, might have been a pro-Trump Republican. “The MAGA Gang (is) desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said. “In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving.”

The ABC late-night host’s remarks constituted “the sickest conduct possible,” FCC chair Brendan Carr told right-wing podcaster Benny Johnson on Wednesday. Carr suggested his FCC could move to revoke ABC affiliate licenses as a way to force Disney to punish Kimmel.

“We can do this the easy way or the hard way,” Carr said. “These companies can find ways to change conduct and take actions on Kimmel, or there’s going to be additional work for the FCC ahead.”

Carr added that the broadcasters, including ABC, “have a license granted by us at the FCC, and that comes with it an obligation to operate in the public interest.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Carr attacked Kimmel as “talentless” and suggested the late-night comedian’s comments displayed “some sort of desperate irrelevance.” Disney and ABC did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

This was not the first time Carr has gone after ABC in recent months. In July, the Trump appointee told Fox News that long-running daytime talk show “The View” is “now in the crosshairs of this administration” over co-host Joy Behar’s scathing criticism of President Trump.

Kimmel has also been a frequent target of President Trump’s ire. Shortly after CBS announced the cancellation of Stephen Colbert’s late-night talk show — a move Carr publicly celebrated — Trump suggested that “Next up will be an even less talented Jimmy Kimmel.”

Walt Disney World To Indoctrinate Your Children During ‘Gay Days 2013′

MAY 22ND

Posted by NTEB News Desk in End Times

Walt Disney is recruiting for the LGBT

Every year since 1991 Disney World in Orlando Florida has allowed thousands of homosexuals, lesbians and trans-genders to hold a coming out party in the Magic Kingdom on the first Saturday of June. The first Saturday in June is typically the first Saturday during the summer break from school when tens of thousands (10,000s) of children are in the theme park.

Have fun explaining this to your 10 year old child as your walk around the Magic Kingdom.

The next Gay Day at Disney World in Orlando Florida will be held in the Magic Kingdom on Saturday, June 1, 2013.

Many Gay Day patrons wore shirts that promoted homosexuality, kissed, hugged and groped in very public places and dressed in drag all to the curiosity of tens of thousands of children.

The event has been very offensive to the general public. A Disney official informed a Florida Family Association team member one year that they gave out 3,000 free passes just in the first two hours of the event.

2011 Gay Day at Magic Kingdom fully supported by Walt Disney World

Disney’s official email response to critics of Gay Day erroneously pretends that they have nothing to do with Gay Day and have no control over who enters their park. Disney’s email response is posted below. The following facts clearly contradict Disney’s position.

  • Disney has prohibited drag queens from entering the Magic Kingdom following Gay Day 1991 when even the mainstream media reported in a negative light the estimated 1,800 cross dressers in the park with children. Yet, Disney continues to allow thousands of people to wear shirts promoting homosexuality.
  • Dozens of gang members visiting Disneyland in California have been evicted after entering the park wearing gang colors according to Kenneth Green, Director of Corporate Communications. He said the company was concerned the groups might intimidate or invoke fear in the hearts of regular patrons. So, Disney can see where a dozen people wearing gang colors might be offensive to regular families but not thousands of same-sex revelers wearing shirts that flaunt and promote homosexual, lesbian and transgender behavior.
  • Disney provided special group discount tickets with a pink Mickey logo for Gay Day Patrons.
  • Disney paid personnel to hand out special pamphlets to Gay Day patrons informing them of organized activities.
  • Disney paid personnel to greet Gay Day patrons at the front gate.
  • Disney recruited employees to be guides for special groups of Gay Day patrons.
  • Disney gave free Disney tee shirts to people who complained that they did not know that the red shirt they innocently wore meant they supported Gay Day.
  • The State of Florida does NOT prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.

Disney has clearly played a role in helping to sponsor this event for years and allows activities they could otherwise prevent. Disney has the right to prohibit people from entering the park with tee shirts that promote LGBT behavior but deliberately chooses to allow this to occur in the midst of thousands of children.

So why doesn’t Disney and Gay Day organizers want their own special Gay Day party in the Magic Kingdom after the park closes when regular guests won’t be offended and Gay Day patrons can party hardy? The answer is they both want to impact a captured audience of tens of thousands of children.

Thousands and thousands of red shirt wearing LGBT who will openly embrace each other in front of your and your children at Walt Disney World on June 1, 2013.

Disney requires special events like Grad Night and Night of Joy to be held after the Magic Kingdom’s regular operating hours. Disney does this to avoid having a large group of like-minded people in the park at the same time with regular patrons who expect a normal day at the Magic Kingdom.

Florida Family Association has asked Disney officials to require Gay Day to be held after hours, like Grad Night or Night of Joy, to avoid offending unsuspecting families who traveled thousands of miles expecting a normal day.

We have prepared an email for you to send to encourage Disney officials to require Gay Day to be held after regular operating hours.

To send your email, please click the following link, enter your name and email address then click the “Send Your Message” button.

As a private property owner in the State of Florida, Disney World certainly has the right to adopt and enforce company policy that would do a better job at protecting thousands of children from being forced to watch the revelry of Gay Day patrons. You do it for Grad Night. You do it for Night of Joy. You can do it for Gay Day. Please stop this offensive event from occurring in the midst of thousands of children by requiring that it be held after regular operating hours when thousands of children will not be in the park. source – Florida Family

Logo controversy

P&G’s former logo originated in 1851 as a crude cross that barge workers on the Ohio River painted on cases of P&G star candles to identify them. P&G later altered this symbol into a trademark that showed a man in the moon overlooking 13 stars, said to commemorate the original 13 colonies.[19]

Former P&G logo

The company received unwanted media publicity in the 1980s when rumors spread that the moon-and-stars logo was a satanic symbol. The accusation was based on a particular passage in the Bible, specifically Revelation 12:1, which states: “And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of 12 stars.” P&G’s logo consisted of a man’s face on the moon surrounded by 13 stars, and some claimed that the logo was a mockery of the heavenly symbol alluded to in the aforementioned verse, thus construing the logo to be satanic. Where the flowing beard meets the surrounding circle, three curls were said to be a mirror image of the number 666, or the reflected number of the beast. At the top and bottom, the hair curls in on itself, and was said to be the two horns like those of a lamb that represented the false prophet.

These interpretations have been denied by company officials, and no evidence linking the company to the Church of Satan or any other occult organization has ever been presented. The company unsuccessfully sued Amway from 1995-2003 over rumors forwarded through a company voicemail system in 1995. In 2007 the company successfully sued individual Amway distributors for reviving and propagating the false rumors.[20]

Media Execs Predict End Of Free Internet Content

Posted on: Sunday, 26 July 2009, 07:32 CDT

IAC/InteractiveCorp chairman and CEO Barry Diller said the era of free Internet content is coming to an end.

Speaking at the Fortune Brainstorm conference in Pasadena, California, Diller challenged traditional Internet business models in which consumers pay for Internet access while content is provided free of charge.

In the future, he said revenue will be generated from advertising, subscriptions and transactions.

“It is not free, and is not going to be,” said Diller, adding that Web users will have to pay for the content they watch and use.

The transition will not be smooth, he said, and the years ahead will not be easy for content providers.

"We are transitioning from an old form to a new form and those things are always bloody," said the media and technology executive, who also serves as chairman of Expedia Inc. and Ticketmaster Entertainment Inc.

The Internet is still in its infancy, and while content was initially provided at no charge to the user, the goal was always to find a way in time to generate revenue, he said.

Diller’s comments echo those of other media moguls, such as Liberty Media Corp.’s John Malone and Walt Disney Co. CEO Robert Iger, who say that Web users will have to pay for the content they watch and use.

Diller, 67, whose IAC/Interactive runs the Ask.com search engine and the Match.com dating service, called the view of the Internet as a system of free communications a “mythology”.

He said his own news Web site, “The Daily Beast”, has "done a very good early job" creating compelling content.

The site is not difficult to finance, but "it's going to have to earn its way,” he said.

Burbank, California-based Disney is working on a subscription-based Internet product that the company believes will expand its opportunities in Web sales, Iger said. The product will allow improvements in online advertising by allowing marketers to target consumers by tracking their activities and interests.

“We have ample evidence both in traditional and new media that people are willing to pay for quality, to pay for choice and to pay for convenience,” said Iger, speaking at the conference on July 22.

“And they are willing to pay for what they perceive as value.”

News Corp., publisher of the Wall Street Journal and owner of the Fox TV and film studios, is also looking to generate revenue through its Internet businesses by charging customers for news and entertainment, according to a Bloomberg report citing remarks from Jonathan Miller, chief executive officer of News Corp.’s Digital Media Group and News Corp.’s chief digital officer.

The Wall Street Journal already charges customers for online subscriptions.

In the future, some companies will offer content that users are willing to pay for, while others won’t, said Miller, and online journalism will increasingly transition to a “paid model”.

News Corp.’s interactive revenue fell 11 percent to $187 million during the first quarter of this year, led by a 16 percent drop in advertising at sites such as MySpace.

FLORIDA CHILDREN'S HOSP. & DISNEY = MAGIC

Florida Children’s Hospital and Disney Unite to Create Magical Pediatric Hospital

Wednesday September 19, 2007

Medical News: Florida-Childrens-Hospital

In a sea of streamers this morning, the most famous mouse in the world helped celebrate a $10 million contribution to Florida Children’s Hospital from Walt Disney World and Disney Worldwide Outreach. With the drop of a 100-foot banner from the 11-story hospital, The Walt Disney Company and Florida Children’s Hospital revealed a promise to the community and laid the foundation for the “Children’s Hospital of the Future.”

While The Walt Disney Company has long supported children’s hospitals both locally and around the world, Florida Children’s Hospital will become the first hospital in history to bear the Disney name. The official name of the hospital will be announced at a later date.

“This contribution is part of our ongoing commitment to making dreams come true for the children of Central Florida,” said Meg Crofton, president of Walt Disney World Resort. “Even during uncertain times, children want and need to play, to exercise their imaginations, and to dream. At Disney, we thrive on that kind of imaginative energy, and we hope to bring some of that same spirit to this special place that will provide care for the children of our community.”

During the ceremony this morning, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, as well as a former 10-year-old patient of the hospital and his mother, zoomed in on a 1920s Cadillac from the “Stars and Motor Cars” parade at Disney-MGM Studios to help Florida Hospital and Disney cement their partnership. Mickey and Minnie, officials from both organizations, and special guests placed their hands in cement to symbolize the start of construction on the site at Florida Children’s Hospital.

“Florida Children’s Hospital has been caring for the children of Central Florida for almost 100 years,” said Lars Houmann, president of Florida Hospital, which runs Florida Children’s Hospital. “A few miles from here, Disney has been equally passionate about making dreams come true for children here at home and around the world. Together, we are building a children’s hospital that we hope will establish a new model of healthcare throughout our community and beyond.”

Florida Hospital depends on the generous philanthropy of individuals and organizations to continue to meet the healthcare needs of the patients it serves, and Disney’s contribution stands as one of the largest in the hospital’s history.

“We are privileged to accept this gift from The Walt Disney Company. Combining Disney’s imagination and creativity with the healing hands of Florida Children’s Hospital physicians and other healthcare personnel will truly make this a very special place for our patients and their families,” said Des Cummings, president of Florida Hospital Foundation.

As part of the celebration, Florida Hospital and Walt Disney World Resort honored the organizations’ long-standing relationship.

“For more than two decades, we have worked with Florida Hospital on a number of projects that have benefited Central Florida residents, Disney Cast Members and guests from around the world,” said Al Weiss, president of Worldwide Operations for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. “Today, we’re honoring the expansion of our partnership and the promise of healing and hope it brings to the families Florida Children’s Hospital will serve.”

Construction on the seven-story, 200-bed facility is expected to be complete in 2010 and will serve the Central Florida community and the almost 50 million visitors who come to Orlando each year.

“This partnership with Disney is blending our two areas of expertise: the healing hands of Florida Children’s Hospital and the imagination and creativity of Disney,” said Marla Silliman, administrator of Florida Children’s Hospital. “By bringing them together, we are creating an environment in which even the sickest children can experience joy and happiness while they are in the hospital.”

About Florida Hospital and Walt Disney World

Located at Lake Buena Vista, Fla., 20 miles southwest of Orlando, the resort opened Oct. 1, 1971, and currently employs nearly 60,000 Cast Members.

Disney brightens the lives of children in need around the world through global outreach programs, local community initiatives and the Disney VoluntEARS program. The Disney VoluntEARS program provides opportunities for Disney employees to contribute their time and expertise towards making a positive impact in the communities they serve while furthering the traditions and ideals of The Walt Disney Company. Last year, Disney donated more than $170 million in cash and in-kind support to various charities around the world. Disney VoluntEARS contributed more than 485,000 hours of service and the company drew upon its unique magic to make wishes come true for children and families.
