PARIS (AP) — Some 70,000 law enforcement officers will be deployed across France on Saturday while the Louvre and several other major Paris museums will be closed as authorities seek to prevent renewed violence during planned protests.

Protests last week devolved into mayhem, with people setting fires, storming public buildings, smashing shop windows, looting and clashing with police. It was France’s most violent unrest in years.

Demonstrators plan to take to the streets again Saturday to denounce the high cost of living. Students, members of the CGT labor union and activists from the “ yellow vest ” movement, whose demonstrations against social injustice shook France in 2018 and 2019, are all set to join.

While some protests have been banned for security reasons in several cities, including Lyon, Nice and Montpellier, marches are expected in many other places including in Paris and Marseille.

French Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez said some 70,000 police officers and gendarmes would be deployed, along with helicopters, armored vehicles and water cannons. In addition, elite police units will help secure public buildings like city halls in a “highly mobile” security operation, he said.

“There have been numerous calls from radical far-left groups on social media to commit acts of violence and vandalism. There have also been renewed calls for looting, with those messages clearly being spread by rioters,” Nuñez said at a news conference.

“We will be absolutely uncompromising” with those involved in violence, he added, warning that police will have a “very firm approach to making arrests, and there will be legal consequences.”

Paris museums to be closed

In a statement to The Associated Press, the Culture Ministry said the Louvre, the Orsay and Picasso museums as well as the Grand Palais would be closed. The ministry called on all institutions under its authority to adopt any necessary measures to ensure “visitor safety, staff protection and the preservation of artworks,” according to the statement.

After two days when admission was by invitation only, Art Basel Paris opened to the public Friday — but only for the day, with the threat of unrest prompting organizers to cancel the weekend program. One of the world’s most prestigious contemporary art fairs, Art Basel includes exhibitions by 211 international galleries at Paris’ Grand Palais.

“This decision has not been taken lightly, and the safety of everyone involved in the fair remains our utmost priority,” organizers said in a statement Thursday.

Saloni Doshi, an art collector who traveled to Paris from India for the fair, grew worried last Saturday as she saw the fires and panicked people, and she received phone calls from friends asking whether Paris was safe. She agreed with the organizers’ rationale to close.

Antoine Donzeaud and Elisa Rigoulet, the owners of the gallery exo exo, felt the same.

“We understand this decision, which we consider reasonable and consistent with the urgency of the social demands currently unfolding in France,” they said in a text message.

But some visitors were disappointed.

“It’s very sad, because we just came here to the fair, and we could not get in because they canceled it for the weekend,” said Fabián Hernández, 32, from Mexico City. “So it’s very busy today, and it’s disappointing to me because I love the art fair, you know? But it is what it is.”
An anti far-right protest is planned

A demonstration Saturday in the city of Orléans, about 110 kilometers (70 miles) south of Paris, will also be closely watched.

About 50 organizations have called for a protest against the far right on the sidelines of the two-day congress of Marine Le Pen’s nationalist, anti-immigration party ahead of next spring’s presidential election. Organizers include labor unions, left-wing political parties, student organizations and anti-racism groups.

Hugues Moutouh, the prefect of the Loiret region, said that 20,000 to 30,000 demonstrators from across the country were expected.

Le Pen, whom opinion polls place as the front-runner in next year’s election, accused left-wing organizations and political parties of trying to “disrupt a political party’s democratic congress,” on news broadcaster Franceinfo.

Still, she said she had “no concerns” about security because the government had “recognized the need for measures allowing the congress to proceed safely.”

They Trained to Protect Immigrants From ICE. Now They’re Prepping to Defend the Midterm Elections.

ICE-watchers-turned-poll-watchers are preparing for the worst, as the Trump administration hints at potential strategies to disrupt the midterm elections.

ICE watchers across the country who watched federal agents shoot people in the streets and fought to drive ICE from their cities are turning their new skills against the next authoritarian threat from the Trump administration: election interference.

Volunteers who showed up a few months ago asking, “Where do I buy a whistle?” are now trained and committed members of an “ICE Watch” movement, said Zach Mueller, whose anti-authoritarian group States at the Core started hosting trainings earlier this year. “They’re not in the normal cast of characters that have been showing up to rallies over the last several decades,” said Mueller. Now, they’re planning to fan out to their local polling places and defend their neighbors’ rights to vote.

The ICE-watchers-turned-poll-watchers are preparing for the worst despite a temporary win the voting rights movement secured last week, when the Supreme Court upheld a decision to block a Trump administration rule that would have let the U.S. Postal Service refuse to deliver ballots from states that don’t share their voter rolls with the federal government, among other new constraints, which advocates warned would lead to chaos and uncounted votes. While that plan was foiled for the midterms, other electoral threats abound.

“There are 100 different scenarios that you can run through,” said Ezra Levin, co-founder of Indivisible. “Could be ICE at the polls, could be Trump getting every Republican to swear to sabotage the results … Could be something after the fact, seizing ballot boxes or refusing to acknowledge the results. Who knows?”

The Three Angels' Messages

The three angels' messages are a prophetic threefold warning and call to salvation found in the biblical book of Revelation (Revelation 14:6–12), which the Seventh-day Adventist Church views as a central mandate and final message to prepare the world for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. [1, 2]

The First Angel's MessageThe Everlasting Gospel and Judgment (Rev. 14:6–7): Proclaims the eternal good news of salvation through Christ and declares that "the hour of His judgment has come." It calls all people to reverence ("fear") God, give Him glory, and worship Him as the Creator of heaven, earth, the sea, and springs of water. [1, 2, 3]

The Second Angel's MessageThe Fall of Babylon (Rev. 14:8): Proclaims that "Babylon is fallen, is fallen," a symbolic declaration representing the spiritual collapse and corruption of worldly religious systems and apostate churches that reject biblical truth and unite with worldly practices. [1, 2, 3]

The Third Angel's MessageWarning Against the Beast (Rev. 14:9–12): Issues a solemn warning against worshiping the beast and its image or receiving its mark on the forehead or hand, depicting the severe spiritual consequences of rebellion against God. It highlights the steadfast endurance of God's people—"those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus". [1, 2, 3]

Prepping for a Cashless Control Grid: How Digital Currency Becomes Digital Control

Milan Adams
Cashless Society, Economy, Preppers

September 26, 2026

When Money Stops Being Money

Something fundamental is vanishing, and most people will not notice until it is already gone. Not with a declaration. Not with a law passed in the dead of night. Simply, gradually, the option to buy something without creating a permanent record will disappear. The ability to save purchasing power outside of a system that can freeze it, monitor it, or program it will become a memory that seems almost fictional to those who never experienced it.

I have watched this unfold over years of observing payment systems, reading central bank white papers that few citizens bother to examine, and noticing how my own transactions leave increasingly detailed trails. The pattern is consistent across nations: convenience precedes surveillance, and surveillance precedes control.

We are not approaching a cashless society. We are sleepwalking into it. And for anyone who values independence, privacy, or the basic human right to conduct commerce without surveillance, this represents not progress but regression toward a form of control that previous generations would have recognized immediately and resisted forcefully.

Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) are the mechanism of this transformation. The digital euro, the potential digital dollar, the digital yuan already operational in China—these are not simply modernizations of payment systems. They are structural changes to the relationship between the individual and the state, between commerce and surveillance, between freedom and permission. Once fully implemented, they would create a financial infrastructure where every transaction is visible, every purchase is logged, and every economic decision requires implicit or explicit approval from authorities.

This is not speculation. This is documented policy. The Bank for International Settlements, which coordinates central banking globally, has explicitly stated that CBDCs will enable “programmable money”—currency that can be restricted based on time, place, or purpose. The European Central Bank’s digital euro project includes provisions for offline payments only up to limited amounts, with all larger transactions requiring network connectivity and identity verification. The Federal Reserve’s FedNow system, launched in July 2023, created the technical infrastructure for instant digital payments that serves as the foundation for eventual CBDC implementation.

They Are Preparing the Stage For a Global Delusion (Look Closer)

RISE

Sep 15, 2026

Something deeply troubling is happening right now, and Christians need to look closer at what is being promoted by this event. We are witnessing a massive global delusion that is subtly twisting Biblical truth and leading millions into a modern gnostic deception.

It is happening now behind the scenes of the Christ is king movement, and we must use Biblical discernment to see who is really pulling the strings. Christ is not a "spacecraft" or "comet" sent to rescue us from a Demiurge.

Turn to Jesus Christ today, repent, believe.. be saved by faith in His blood.

And stay awake. The time is short.

NYC braces for multiple daily protests as world leaders arrive for UN General Assembly

NEW YORK — As New York braces for multiple daily protests around this year's United Nations General Assembly, NYPD officers will flood midtown Manhattan to protect the public and controversial world leaders scheduled to attend, including President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said Thursday.

"Every year, we see an uptick in demonstrations and protests coinciding with the U.N. General Assembly, and as always, the NYPD will facilitate First Amendment activity," Tisch said at a briefing at NYPD headquarters Thursday. "At the same time, there will be intolerance for violence or destruction of property."

Beginning Friday, the NYPD will be monitoring 55 permitted UNGA-related events, NYPD officials said.

"We're expecting multiple protests every day," Tisch added.

There are currently no credible threats against the event, said Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who also attended Thursday's briefing.

Mamdani did not speak about Netanyahu's attendance at the U.N. General Assembly, even though he has repeatedly called the Israeli leader a "war criminal" and had demanded his arrest over the war in Gaza just two months earlier.

"He is the architect of a horrific genocide against the Palestinian people," he said in a video posted online on July 21. "There is a reason the International Criminal Court issued a warrant for his arrest."

Although he vowed to arrest Netanyahu on the warrant during his campaign, he acknowledged in the same July video that New York City "does not have the independent legal authority to enforce this warrant" and encouraged the federal government to arrest him.
