ADRA is Embarrassing the Church

October 21, 2026 NewsHound

According to Gateway Pundit, another massive migrant caravan is marching through Mexico toward the US border as we enter the final weeks of the midterm election cycle. And ADRA is helping it happen.

The migrants marching in the latest caravan are mostly from Central America and they just departed Mexico’s southern border.

The Central American migrants told journalist Julio Rosas that they hope the Democrats win the midterm elections.

Last month, a migrant caravan was spotted marching toward the US border ahead of the midterm elections.

At least two NGOs are funding this caravan. According to independent reporter Anthony Aguero, “Proyecto Faro and ADRA” are the two main NGOs assisting the migrant caravan.

Tom Homan recently said the migrants will be sent back to their home countries or a third party country.

“They’ll be immediately turned around, or they’ll be arrested and prosecuted and deported,” Homan said.

“Zero releases from the border under the Trump administration. President Trump promised that. He’s going to keep that promise,” he said.

“I hope voters are paying attention,” Homan said. “Remember the images of 12,000 illegals per day coming across the border. Now they want to abolish the agency that finds them and deports them!”

Observations

Another massive Central American migrant caravan is currently marching north through Mexico toward the U.S. border in the final weeks before the midterms, with participants openly telling journalists they hope Democrats win so enforcement will ease.

Independent reporter Anthony Aguero has identified two NGOs—Proyecto Faro and ADRA (the Adventist Development and Relief Agency)—as the primary groups assisting the caravan’s logistics and support.

ADRA is an ideologically-captured arm of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, which wraps itself in the language of neutral Christian charity and “serving all without regard to political affiliation.”

ADRA has a long, documented history of taking tens of millions in USAID and State Department funds under the Biden administration to distribute cash, food, shelter, and other aid to U.S.-bound migrants across Latin America as part of United Nations regional immigration plans. The organization’s own past statements (including board member, Ted Wilson) dismiss accusations of facilitating irregular migration as “patently false.”

Russia-Linked Group Claims Armed Incursion Into NATO Territory, Threatens Further Sabotage

An armed group calling itself “Black Rus” has claimed responsibility for a cross-border operation in Latvia involving masked individuals, damaged surveillance equipment, and an attempt to push 20 undocumented migrants across the border from Belarus.

A senior NATO strategic communications official said the incident showed signs of possible involvement by Russian and Belarusian intelligence services.

According to Latvia’s public broadcaster LSM on October 12, the group published a video statement on Telegram claiming responsibility for the incident, which took place overnight on October 5–6 near the Latvian-Belarusian border.

In the video, a masked man using a distorted voice and identifying himself as Neman, the group’s spokesperson, claimed that three members had participated in the operation. He also threatened further acts of sabotage against countries bordering Belarus.

Jānis Sārts, director of NATO’s Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence, suggested that the group was unlikely to be operating independently. He said the involvement of armed individuals in moving migrants toward Latvia’s border bore characteristics of an operation potentially coordinated by Russian and Belarusian intelligence services.

During the initial incident, armed individuals accompanying migrants from Belarus reportedly threatened Latvian military personnel while attempting to force their way across the border.

Several hours later, masked individuals entered Latvian territory again near the village of Matuliški, stealing surveillance cameras and damaging border monitoring equipment.

Latvia’s State Security Service opened criminal proceedings on October 9 concerning the alleged establishment of a criminal organization intended to commit particularly serious crimes against peace, as well as against Latvia and Ukraine.

The agency declined to provide further details, citing the interests of the ongoing investigation. No official determination linking the group directly to Russian or Belarusian intelligence services has been publicly established.

Earlier, in July 2026, Latvia tightened security around critical energy infrastructure, including a major hydroelectric dam and its largest underground gas storage facility, following intelligence warnings of potential Russian sabotage. Latvian officials also called for additional NATO air defenses and a stronger allied military presence amid growing concerns over hybrid threats.

They Trained to Protect Immigrants From ICE. Now They’re Prepping to Defend the Midterm Elections.

ICE-watchers-turned-poll-watchers are preparing for the worst, as the Trump administration hints at potential strategies to disrupt the midterm elections.

ICE watchers across the country who watched federal agents shoot people in the streets and fought to drive ICE from their cities are turning their new skills against the next authoritarian threat from the Trump administration: election interference.

Volunteers who showed up a few months ago asking, “Where do I buy a whistle?” are now trained and committed members of an “ICE Watch” movement, said Zach Mueller, whose anti-authoritarian group States at the Core started hosting trainings earlier this year. “They’re not in the normal cast of characters that have been showing up to rallies over the last several decades,” said Mueller. Now, they’re planning to fan out to their local polling places and defend their neighbors’ rights to vote.

The ICE-watchers-turned-poll-watchers are preparing for the worst despite a temporary win the voting rights movement secured last week, when the Supreme Court upheld a decision to block a Trump administration rule that would have let the U.S. Postal Service refuse to deliver ballots from states that don’t share their voter rolls with the federal government, among other new constraints, which advocates warned would lead to chaos and uncounted votes. While that plan was foiled for the midterms, other electoral threats abound.

“There are 100 different scenarios that you can run through,” said Ezra Levin, co-founder of Indivisible. “Could be ICE at the polls, could be Trump getting every Republican to swear to sabotage the results … Could be something after the fact, seizing ballot boxes or refusing to acknowledge the results. Who knows?”

Customs stops more than 600 stolen cars from being shipped out in international crime theft ring

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has stopped more than 600 attempts this year to ship stolen vehicles overseas

WPVI

Federal agents announced a major crackdown on stolen cars at a busy East Coast port.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection said on Thursday that they have stopped more than 600 attempts this year to ship stolen vehicles overseas through the Port of New York and New Jersey, as part of an international crime ring.

Security camera videos provided by homeowners captured intruders entering homes while families slept upstairs and searching drawers and bags for key fobs to high-end vehicles parked outside.

Many of the stolen vehicles ultimately end up in containers at the Port of Newark before being shipped to overseas buyers, generating millions of dollars for criminal organizations, according to officials.

Michael McCarthy of Homeland Security said the effort has prevented millions of dollars' worth of stolen vehicles from leaving the country.

"Keeping over $36 million in stolen property from leaving this country, but behind those numbers are real victims, every single one of those vehicles were taken from someone -- a family, a commuter, a small business," McCarthy said.

Customs and Border Protection displayed several high-end vehicles investigators recovered after they were stolen.

"This illegal trade represents a significant loss for American consumers, businesses and insurance companies and it undermines the integrity of our borders," said TenaVel Thomas, U.S. Customs and Border Protection port director.

Law enforcement agencies involved in efforts to break up the theft rings discussed their ongoing work at the Port of Newark but did not disclose their tactics.

Officials also urged vehicle owners to take precautions that could make it more difficult for thieves to steal their cars.

"Never leave their cars and key fobs in vehicles, keep doors locked, windows closed, park your cars in well-lit areas," Hudson County Sheriff's Office Chief Paterson Pasteur said.

Protesters against illegal immigration in South Africa call for more deportations

Hundreds of people have held a demonstration against illegal immigration in the South African city of Durban

DURBAN, South Africa -- Hundreds of people held a demonstration against illegal immigration in the South African city of Durban on Wednesday, vowing to intensify their actions against what they say is the government's failure to deal with the issue.

The crowds, led by the March by March group, had set a Sept. 30 deadline for those living illegally in South Africa to leave the country. The deadline wasn't recognized by the government and authorities.

With some brandishing traditional Zulu weapons and singing cultural songs, they marched through Durban’s streets. Police didn’t report any incidents of violence against foreigners during the protest.

A similar deadline set for June 30 sparked a mass repatriation of foreigners to their various African countries after attacks on immigrants. The governments of those nations arranged for the evacuation of their citizens.

Wednesday's demonstration was the latest protest in South Africa over the last few months. There have been reported attacks against some foreign nationals that have led to diplomatic tensions between the South African government and some African nations.

South African authorities also have reported the deportations of thousands of foreigners who were in the country illegally in recent months.

Earlier this month, Nigeria’s parliament indefinitely suspended official visits and engagements with South Africa over the immigration tensions.

For years, South Africa has attracted foreign nationals seeking economic opportunities from across the continent, including from nearby countries Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Mozambique and Malawi, and as far away as Nigeria, Ghana and Ethiopia.

Many blame migrants for the country’s high levels of unemployment, crime and pressure on public services.

“We were raising another concern about our porous borders and the fact that we have overstretched resources that are not enough to take care of us,” said Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma, the leader of March and March.

The protests were meant to put more pressure on the government and called for more deportations of those who are in the country illegally, she said.

“The message we are sending today is that people are getting really, really fed up," she said. "We also hope that our government will take the cries of the people seriously, instead of trying to look good to the international world."

Protesters said that the demonstration was also meant to express outrage over the issue of femicide and gender-based violence in the country, which has recently been highlighted by the killing of at least 11 women in Ekurhuleni, east of Johannesburg.

DHS Calls on Sanctuary Politicians to Stop Violent Rhetoric Against ICE as Assaults Increase by More Than 1,600%

Release Date: September 24, 2026

Assaults against ICE officials have risen by more than 1,600% compared to the first year and a half of the Biden Administration

WASHINGTON – The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released the following statement calling on sanctuary politicians across the country to stop using hateful and violent rhetoric against the men and women of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), who are currently facing a more than 1,600% increase in assaults against them.

According to the latest data, there were 647 assaults against ICE from January 20, 2025 to September 20, 2026, compared to just 37 under the Biden Administration from January 20, 2021 to September 20, 2022. This marks an increase of 1,649%.

“The brave men and women of ICE, who are simply enforcing the laws mandated by Congress and protecting the American people, are under attack every single day. Since President Trump unleashed ICE to do their jobs, assaults against them have risen by more than 1,600% in the first year and a half of the administration,” said DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin. “This is the result of the vicious lies being spread by sanctuary politicians and their foot soldiers who are involved in anti-ICE riots and other acts of violence. DHS is calling on these sanctuary politicians to stop attacking federal law enforcement, stop putting the needs of illegal aliens ahead of the safety of American citizens, and to start working with us to make America safe again.”

Below are some of the most egregious examples of hateful rhetoric by sanctuary politicians against ICE:

CARAVAN HEADS TO U.S. | 600+ migrants head to U.S.-Mexico border from Honduras

ADRA Helping to Fund Migrant Caravan Marching To United States Border

ADRA Helping to Fund Migrant Caravan Marching To United States Border

September 28, 2026 NewsHound

A migrant caravan is marching toward the US border ahead of the midterm elections. More than 400 aliens from the Honduras entered Mexico on Thursday en route to the United States, Reuters has confirmed. By now, the group has swelled to under 1,000 according to latest reports.

At least two NGOs are funding this caravan. ADRA and Proyecto Faro, according to independent reporter Anthony Aguero. Both NGO’s are ideologically aligned with the political, or progressive, left.
  • Proyecto Faro, the immigrant support nonprofit out of Rockland County, New York, is funded by a mix of foundations, nonprofits, and government grants. Mainly funded by a Jewish Foundation, The Harry Donenfeld Foundation, named for the Jewish immigrant who co-founded DC Comics.
  • ADRA stands for the Adventist Development and Relief Agency, its the humanitarian arm of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, a progressive denomination. Its biggest funder is the U.S. government, mainly USAID, which has given it roughly three hundred eighty-five million dollars. Their last report clarifies they were given at least 36 million US dollars by the end of 2025… more to come.
In January of last year, ADRA (which has championed climate change initiatives, mass immigration, and United Nations inclusions) was named on national television for helping to facilitate mass illegal immigration into the united states.

ADRA receives a large portion of its budget from the United States government and the United Nations, and thus is forbidden to proselytize. It has become just another NGO among hundreds, with post-Christian values and a program of uprooting patriarchy and traditional societies, promoting feminism, and of empowering all-pervasive totalitarian government. Ted Wilson took office in 2010 with the hope of reforming ADRA (and La Sierra), but failed at both. ADRA has its own value system and is, like our hospitals and medical school, only very loosely affiliated with the SDA Church and its message and value system.

Under the guise of being humanitarian, ADRA has supported these issues.

On Pope Leo’s World Day of Migrants, Cardinal McElroy Indicts Trump’s War on Immigrants

Preaching on the Good Samaritan for World Day of Migrants, Washington’s archbishop named Minneapolis, a five-year-old used as bait, and a nation that “passed on by.” He told Catholics to fight every dimension of it.

Cardinal Robert McElroy stood at the ambo of the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle on Sunday evening, less than a mile from the White House, and told Washington’s Catholics that their country has spent a year and a half walking past a man left bleeding by the road.

“For the last year and a half, the people of the United States have witnessed the suffering of the undocumented in our midst, purposely and strategically magnified by our government,” the archbishop of Washington said, “and for the most part, we have simply passed on by.”

The Mass marked the 112th World Day of Migrants and Refugees, which Pope Leo XIV devoted this year to children under the theme “Even Just One of These Children.” McElroy preached on the Good Samaritan. He borrowed a rule from one of his seminary scripture professors: in any parable, look for the character you most dislike, “and that is you.”

For Americans in 2026, he said, that character is the priest who crossed to the other side of the road (and the Levite who followed him).

The parable came second. McElroy opened with what he called the two great legacies that shape America’s duty to the stranger: the command in Deuteronomy that “you shall not violate the rights of the alien or the orphan,” and the words Emma Lazarus wrote for the Statue of Liberty. “There was a time when these words brought tears to every American,” he said of the poem. “Now they are shunned, riddled with conditions, or ignored altogether because they remind us of what we have become.”

Ethiopians constituted 58% of the 1,450 individuals caught trying to cross the border illegally, the largest share among nationalities.
Saudi Arabia deported 14,905 people after a week-long crackdown on residency, labour, and border violations.

Over 29,900 expatriates are currently undergoing enforcement procedures related to immigration and residency laws.
The government warned that those aiding illegal entry or stay could face severe penalties, including up to 15 years in prison and heavy fines.

The enforcement campaign, carried out between August 20 and August 26, led to the arrest of 14,434 people, according to the Ministry of Interior.

Of those detained, 6,976 were cited for residency violations, 4,110 for breaches of border security rules and 3,348 for labour violations, Gulf News reported.

Ethiopians account for 58% of border arrests

The figures are notable for Africa because Ethiopian nationals accounted for 58% of the 1,450 people arrested while attempting to cross into Saudi Arabia illegally. Yemenis made up 41%, while other nationalities accounted for the remaining 1%.
