1. Various of high school students protesting outside Voltaire high school with people driving by and honking in support
2. Wide of protest signs and students' feet on barricade at Voltaire high school protest
3. Mid of various protest signs
4. Mid of protesters singing French National Anthem: 'La Marseillaise'
5. Wide of students protesting outside a high school in France, holding signs and banners.
6. SOUNDBITE (French) Sophie Bordy, literature teacher: "The youth is extremely anxious. High school students are very anxious, mainly because of Parcoursup (France’s online platform for university admissions). Regarding all high school students in France, there is a lack of places in higher education, and the algorithms make it unclear why some of our students don't have a place in higher education even though they have excellent records, have passed the baccalaureate with honors, and therefore, we as teachers understand this movement."
7. Wide of Voltaire bust by Jean-Antoine Houdon at Voltaire high school
8. Mid of students clapping and chanting during the high school protest
9. Wide of high school students gathering on the street during protest in France and drivers passing by and honking in support
10. SOUNDBITE (French) Sophie Bordy, literature teacher:
"I think the French support the movement because, those who have children understand the anxieties that students, young people, experience regarding Parcoursup (France’s online platform for university admissions) and the future being offered to them. We are coming out of an extremely severe heatwave. Here, they took their exams in gyms, basements, on ping-pong tables. The public needs to know that we did not have the same study conditions; I am 50 years old. It has deteriorated significantly."
11. Mid of protest sign reading (French) 'Anger' at protest
12. Close up of protest signs at the high school demonstration in France demanding justice and critiquing police presence. (French) 'Police Everywhere, Justice Nowhere'
13. Mid of protester holding a sign reading (French) 'To protest is a fundamental right'
14. SOUNDBITE (French) Sophie Bordy, literature teacher:
"In my opinion, the treatment by the State and police violence only make things worse. It seems quite urgent to me that the State considers having the minister meet with the young people and understand that their anxieties are real. And these are young adults, you know, they are 16, 17, 18 years old. They are future citizens. Some of them are even citizens already. They must be urgently received so that a genuine signal of appeasement is given by the government."
15. Wide of students gathering outside a high school in France during the protest
STORYLINE:
High school students built a barricade in front of Voltaire High School in northeastern Paris on Friday, in a fifth day of protests in the French capital demanding more resources for education and denouncing pressure on students.
Voltaire High School is one of the 400 high schools that remained closed on Friday, but students nevertheless gathered in front of it. Students taking part in the protest cited staff shortages, deteriorating conditions in some schools, long school days and Parcoursup, France’s national online platform for university admissions.
Sophie Bordy, a literature teacher in Voltaire high school says there are reasons for the students to be anxious and that parents and, more generally, the population have understanding.

Newark NJ Police Department stands down during Delaney Hall protests

The Newark Police Department's (NPD) decision to stand down and refuse requests for assistance at the Delaney Hall detention facility is a direct reflection of a deep, ongoing political and operational conflict between New Jersey local/state officials and federal immigration authorities.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) publicly criticized the move in a statement, noting:
"Local police have refused to answer calls to help our law enforcement. We will not allow violent rioters to slow ICE down."
The situation boils down to a stark division over jurisdiction, local "sanctuary" laws, and escalating clashes at the facility.
Why the Newark Police Department Stood Down
The NPD's refusal to intervene aligns with local governance and a broader pushback against federal immigration operations in the state:The Washington Post
- Sanctuary Policies: Newark and New Jersey have strict policies restricting local law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration enforcement (ICE). Local officials argue that deploying city police resources to defend a private, federal immigration facility goes against municipal directives. The Washington Post
- Political Alignment: Newark Mayor Ras Baraka has been a vocal opponent of the facility, previously attempting to send city fire and code enforcement officials to inspect it, only to be blocked by federal authorities. Mayor Baraka recently called on New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill to launch an investigation into the facility. NJ Spotlight News
- The State Law Context: New Jersey passed a law banning the operation of private immigration detention centers. However, a federal legal challenge struck down the ban, allowing ICE and the private prison company GEO Group to reopen the 1,000-bed Delaney Hall facility. Local authorities view the facility's continued operation as an overreach against state intent. The Guardian
The police department's refusal to assist comes during a week of intense turmoil at the facility, driven by a reported hunger strike and severe clashes outside the gates:
- The Hunger and Work Strike: Approximately 300 detainees signed a public letter alleging "deplorable" and "inhumane" conditions, insufficient medical care, and small food portions contaminated with maggots. Visiting Democratic members of Congress corroborated reports of medical neglect, citing detainees with untreated cancer or suspected breast lumps. The Guardian
- Federal Denials: DHS and Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin have fiercely denied the existence of a hunger strike or subprime conditions, labeling the allegations "smears" and a "political stunt." The Guardian
- Violent Clashes: Protests have escalated, with federal agents deploying pepper spray and pepper balls into crowds. High-profile figures, including U.S. Senator Andy Kim, reported being pepper-sprayed by federal agents during an attempted oversight visit. Houston Chronicle
- Recent Arrests: DHS confirmed that federal authorities arrested at least two protesters for assaulting, resisting, and impeding federal officers, accusing them of spraying law enforcement with an unknown chemical substance.
Because local police are staying out of the conflict, security at the perimeter remains entirely under the control of helmeted, armed federal ICE agents and GEO Group personnel.

The French Revolution – Part 1
The French Revolution – Part 1
"Here is brought to view a new manifestation of satanic power” (GC 268).
What in the World
Nov 11

Introduction
When Henry Kissinger made his secret trip to China in 1971, the subject of the French Revolution came up during his negotiations with the Chinese Premier, Chou Enlai. The story is told that Kissinger asked Chou, “What effect the French Revolution has had upon the world?” - To which Chou reportedly replied, “It is too soon to tell.” Many historians have written similar sentiments about the impact of the French Revolution on the history of the world:
We are in no position as yet to measure the full impact of the French Revolution on the course of world history. It was one of those decisive events which opened the sluice-gate, and in the streams it released we are still swimming, sometimes finding it difficult to keep our head above the water. John McManners, The French Revolution and the Church, (London, S.P.C.K., 1969), Foreword.
The French Revolution is the most important event in the life of modern Europe… It brought on the stage of human affairs forces which have molded the thoughts and actions of men ever since, and have taken a permanent place among the formative influences of civilization. Cambridge Modern History, vol. 8, chap. 35, p. 754.
It is because of its world-wide impact that the French Revolution enters into Biblical prophecy. The Bible tells us where it came from, what it did, and what it is still doing in the world today.
From the Bottomless Pit
The origin of the French Revolution is from the bottomless pit. Because the papacy could not defeat the Two Witnesses and put out the light from the candlesticks, it was necessary for the enemy to bring in reinforcements, to continue the war against the Two witnesses and the woman who fled into the wilderness (see Rev. chapter 12):

UK records biggest increase in asylum claims in Europe
UK records biggest increase in asylum claims in Europe
Story by Tim Wallace
Overall migration dropped in the UK, despite surge in asylum applications - Dan Kitwood/Getty
Britain posted the biggest rise in asylum claims in Europe last year, new figures show, as the number of applications surged to a record high.
A total of 108,000 claims were lodged in 2024, reflecting a 28pc jump on the 84,000 recorded in 2023.
This increase far outstripped the UK’s peers across the Continent, including France and Germany, where the number of asylum claims actually fell.
Last year’s tally was also the highest number of applications on record for the UK, according to the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), eclipsing 103,000 asylum claims lodged in 2002.
The latest figures will raise fresh concerns over the Channel migrant crisis and the Government’s ability to crack down on small boats.

“For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?” I Cor. 14:8
As It Was In The Days Of Noah
“But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Matthew 24:37-39
“The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.”
Genesis 6:11-12
April 20, 1999, is often regarded as one of the most consequential days in American history. On this fateful day, two armed students entered Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, and went on a shooting rampage that claimed the lives of twelve students and one teacher before taking their own lives. I was fifteen years old when this attack occurred, and I distinctly remember how much this horrific event stunned the entire country. Although school shootings had happened before, none had ever been as severe as Columbine, and the subsequent days were filled with grief, disbelief, and dismay as this tragic event dominated public discourse for weeks.

Today's Show: JESUITS SUGGEST NEW POPE IS FOR THE END OF AMERICAN EMPIRE - 6.5.2025
Chris discusses an article from the Jesuit's flagship publication, "America Magazine" in which they feature an article titled, "Leo XIV: An American Pope for the end of American Empire?" They make reference to Leo XIII (his predecessor) who was the student of the Jesuit professor, Luigi Taparelli -- best known for the doctrine of "social justice." They also comment on Leo's "south-of-the-border perspective" signaling that he will likely support illegal immigration into the United States -- the strategy of globalists to take total control of the country. A similar problem exists in the U.K. Also discussed is the immigration war against Ireland, where the Irish are literally being replaced by Muslims. We hear protesters give an explanation of the phrase "Ireland is full." We also hear the 1974 testimony of former South African Prime Minister, John Vorster -- who warned about the dangers of mass immigration long before the 21st century.
