John Boehner, the alternative?

Today we hear that John Boehner is willing to compromise with the White House on tax cuts...

OK, moving right along.

John Boehner is considered by some to by an alternative, a sobering factor against the wanton spending coming out of the current Democrat Administration. Yet, before the battle for the budget (The Battle of The Bulge) begins he has already conceded a compromise. And, he wants to cut spending?
Can anyone see a real change of pace in his approach to getting us out of this financial malaise? Can anyone see the making of a Presidential Candidate? I am not a betting man, but, when the bugle sounds in 2012, I expect his horse to be in the stalls: Old Bayner.

Tally ho, dark horse!

Speaking of race horses; Let's see his pedigree -

John Andrew Boehner (pronounced /ˈbeɪnər/ BAY-nər; born November 17, 1949) is an American Republican politician who is currently serving as the House Minority Leader in the 111th Congress.
