Pete Hegseth, the U.S. defense secretary, has asked the American people to pray “every day, on bended knee” for a military victory in the Middle East “in the name of Jesus Christ.”

Pope Leo XIV, the first U.S.-born pontiff, has a starkly different take on what should be done in Jesus’s name.

In a homily during a Mass on Thursday morning before Easter, the pope said that the Christian mission has often been “distorted by a desire for domination, entirely foreign to the way of Jesus Christ.”

Since the United States and Israel began bombing Iran in late February, the pope has consistently called for an end to the violence and a return to dialogue to resolve the conflict. But without naming Mr. Hegseth, he has also pointed out the ways in which Christianity has been marshaled for purposes that the pope says do not align with Catholic teaching.

Once top-secret CIA files have detailed America's plans to control the world by manipulating the weather.

The documents, declassified in 2003, discussed the controversial topic of weather modification, the tactic of launching rockets or using planes to dump chemicals into the atmosphere that alter the climate and local storm systems.

Although the resurfaced documents from 1965 did not mention the specific chemicals used in the experiments, they did discuss the need for more funding of the weather modification projects that would soon be used as a weapon of war.



In fact, the memos noted that federal funding for the secret program was set to be four times higher in 1967 - the same year the US began spraying toxins over Vietnam to cause floods and landslides.

One post on X claimed: 'The CIA has been poisoning the sky and controlling the weather since 1965!'

The 18-page report was recently shared by conspiracy theorists, years after it was quietly placed into the CIA's public archives, including a letter praising the classified operation from US President Lyndon B Johnson.

Johnson's endorsement of the CIA's weather modification project came just three years after he gave an ominous speech on the future of America and the work to create 'weather satellites' with the power to strengthen storms.

While giving the commencement address at Southwest Texas State University in May 1962, then-Vice President Johnson said: 'He who controls the weather will control the world.'

Pope Leo XIV has officially dissed Catholic JD Vance’s formal invitation to the upcoming July 4th 250th festivities in the United States. Instead, the Pope, formerly of Chicago, will be celebrating that day “on the tiny Italian island of Lampedusa — a migrant gateway in the Mediterranean,” reports Christopher Hale, who chronicles the Vatican’s doings with his “Letters from Leo” reports.

“… [B]ack in May 2025, JD Vance personally invited Pope Leo to take part in the anniversary celebrations. Many assumed Trump and Vance would welcome the first American pope with open arms during this historic jubilee. But Pope Leo never accepted the offer,” reports Hale, adding that the rejection came days after the Vatican also rejected an invitation to President Donald Trump’s “Board of Peace.”

Worse, the Vatican quietly confirmed the pope has no plans to visit the United States at all in 2026.

“Instead, on the very day of America’s 250th, [the pope] will kneel on a rocky outcrop closer to Tunisia than to Washington, bearing witness to those dying in desperate search of freedom,” said Hale. “The contrast could not be sharper. President Trump envisions F-35 flyovers and fireworks in the capital’s sky; Pope Leo will stand under the same sun on Lampedusa, greeting strangers at the door.”

As part of the Oversight Committee’s investigation into The Biden Autopen Presidency, Chairman James Comer and Committee staff conducted transcribed interviews with several of Joe Biden’s former senior aides and advisors. These witnesses who worked closest to the former president painted a disturbing picture of a White House in decline and denial.

Their testimony revealed that President Biden’s cognitive deterioration was real, visible, and widely discussed inside the West Wing. Senior staff admitted the President was shielded from unscripted events, major policy meetings, and medical evaluations that could expose his condition.

Political operatives, like Anita Dunn, interfered in medical decisions, blocking cognitive tests to protect Biden’s reelection prospects.

Witnesses further confirmed that critical executive actions and even presidential pardons were executed without Biden’s direct authorization, signed instead by an autopen. Several aides confessed they did not know who was approving or controlling its use.

The Committee’s findings are clear: Biden’s top aides concealed his decline, exercised presidential authority without him, and misled the American people.

Southern Adventist University Denies That They’ve Approved a Turning Point USA Chapter on Campus

Southern Adventist University (SAU) has denied a report by the website Fulcrum7 that there is a new chapter of Turning Point USA on its campus.

Turning Point USA (TPUSA) is a political organization founded by the late Charlie Kirk “to educate young people about the importance of limited government, free markets, and freedom.”

On October 15, Fulcrum7 wrote that

“Apparently there is a new TPUSA startup at Southern Adventist University—perhaps in the wake of Charlie’s assassination. From the new Chapter: ‘We’re a new startup at Southern Adventist University and we’re excited to join the tpusa community! We are fighting for free speech and freedom on a college campus!'”

The Southern Accent, SAU’s student newspaper, said on its Instagram page that

“Turning Point USA is NOT opening an official chapter at Southern Adventist University, according to Dennis Negrón, vice president for Student Development.”

The announcement on TPUSA’s website listed the two officers of the new chapter: Noel Hendrickson, president and treasurer; Izabel Sigulinski, vice president and secretary. Some commenters say these are former students, not current ones, though Adventist Today wasn’t able to confirm that. According to the handbook for student organizations at SAU, all student organizations must be approved by the university. Officers must be current students, and go through a registration process with the student development office.

“Until an organization is registered, it cannot operate on behalf of Southern or take advantage of any privileges granted to registered Southern Student Organizations.”

A note from a SAU employee:

“I looked up the President and secretary/treasurer you mentioned for the reported upcoming chapter in our people finder for you. They are both listed as alumni, which would render them ineligible to start an official chapter here.”

Socialist Zohran Kwame Mamdani called for ‘abolition of private property,’ resurfaced video shows

New York City socialist Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani is being ripped for advocating “the abolition of private property” — as a video resurfaced of him touting the radical position this week.

“If there was any system that could guarantee each person housing — whether you call it the abolition of private property or you call it a statewide housing guarantee — it is preferable to what is going on right now,” Mamdani said in the video shared by RNC Research.

“People try to play gotcha games about these kinds of things. Look, I care more about whether somebody has a home.”

The RNC reposting of the old clip — first appearing on the “End Wokeness” group’s X site — is a strong indication that GOP officials will seek to tie Democratic opponents to Mamdani in the 2026 congressional midterm elections, especially if he wins the mayoralty.

Suggesting or supporting stripping owners of property rights without just compensation is controversial and in some instances, illegal.

Mamdani, in another resurfaced clip, talks up “seizing the means of production” — a policy long advanced by Marxists.

President Trump has called Mamdani a “communist.” He identifies as a Democratic socialist.

In a striking move that ends a nearly four-decades-old relationship between the federal government and the Episcopal Church, the denomination announced on Monday that it is terminating its partnership with the government to resettle refugees, citing moral opposition to resettling white Afrikaners from South Africa who have been classified as refugees by President Trump's administration.

In a letter sent to members of the church, the Most Rev. Sean W. Rowe — the presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church — said that two weeks ago, the government "informed Episcopal Migration Ministries that under the terms of our federal grant, we are expected to resettle white Afrikaners from South Africa whom the U.S. government has classified as refugees."

The request, Rowe said, crossed a moral line for the Episcopal Church, which is part of the global Anglican Communion, which boasts among its leaders the late Archbishop Desmond Tutu, a celebrated and vocal opponent of apartheid in South Africa.

"In light of our church's steadfast commitment to racial justice and reconciliation and our historic ties with the Anglican Church of Southern Africa, we are not able to take this step," Rowe wrote. "Accordingly, we have determined that, by the end of the federal fiscal year, we will conclude our refugee resettlement grant agreements with the U.S. federal government."
