Turning Point USA contributor Savanah Hernandez was attacked by multiple anti-ICE protesters in Minneapolis on Saturday, with one female protester caught on camera hitting Hernandez with two punches to the head and knocking her to the ground.

Hernandez shared multiple clips of the anti-ICE protesters assaulting her on X on Saturday.

“I was just brutally assaulted by multiple people outside of the Whipple ICE facility in Minneapolis,” she posted. “Multiple people swung on me and a grown man pushed me to the ground. My glasses are broken. ANTIFA still alive and well. I’m talking with police about pressing charges.”

She followed that up with a clip showing her being heckled and surrounded by protesters, with one woman attempting to smack Hernandez in the face with a pink dildo. The clip then shows another woman punching Hernandez to the ground against a chain link fence; Hernandez got back on her feet quickly and was then confronted by another portly female protester, who threw her shoulder into Hernandez and then shoved her away with her right arm.

The footage shared by Hernandez was from YouTuber “BG on the Ground” and did not include audio; that clip has not been posted to BG’s YouTube page as of Saturday afternoon. Hernandez mentioned a few times on X a grown man pushed her to the ground, but that is not seen in a few of the clips she shared.

Hernandez also reposted a clip of the assault from a different angle.

Viewers can hear whistles blaring and one protester yelling “B*tch!” as Hernandez backpedals after she was hit to the ground; it’s appears more punches were thrown between the anti-ICE protesters and people from Hernandez’s side, but it it tough to discern from the clip. The shouting — and obviously, punches thrown at Hernandez — make it clear it was a chaotic scene.

Hernandez is a reporter for Turning Point USA, the conservative group founded by Charlie Kirk; she has covered illegal immigration and anti-ICE protests over the past few years.

Pastor Miles to Newsmax: Christian Revival Is Surging

By Solange Reyner | Friday, 26 December 2025 06:49 PM EST

Pastor Lucas Miles told Newsmax on Friday that a powerful Christian revival is gaining momentum across the United States, with churches reporting dramatic increases in attendance and engagement as the new year approaches.

On "The Chris Salcedo Show," Miles, senior director of Turning Point USA Faith, said the growth is widespread and undeniable, driven by a renewed hunger for faith and biblical truth.

"We've seen a tremendous spike," he said.

"We work with about 9,500 churches at Turning Point USA Faith across the country, and we are receiving text messages and emails and phone calls from across our network — from pastors that are seeing the same kind of growth that I am."

According to Miles, many churches are reporting attendance increases of 25%, 35%, and even 50%, with some congregations doubling or tripling in size in a remarkably short time.

U.S. Vice President JD Vance, America’s second Catholic vice president, laid out a distinctly Christian vision for American politics in a speech this week, declaring that “the only thing that has truly served as an anchor of the United States of America is that we have been and, by the grace of God, we always will be a Christian nation.”

Speaking to more than 30,000 young conservatives at Turning Point USA’s AmFest 2025 some three months after the death of TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk, Vance called for a politics rooted in a Christian faith that honors the family, protects the weak, and rejects what he described as a decades-long “war” on Christianity in public life.

The Christian faith has provided a “shared moral language” since the nation’s founding, the Yale-trained lawyer argued, which led to “our understanding of natural law and rights, our sense of duty to one’s neighbor, the conviction that the strong must protect the weak, and the belief in individual conscience.”

“Christianity is America’s creed,” the vice president said to loud cheers, while acknowledging that not everyone needs to be a Christian and “we must respect each individual’s pathway” to God. Even so, he said, “even our famously American idea of religious liberty is a Christian concept.”

Vance described how, over the past several decades, “freedom of religion transformed into freedom from religion” as a result of the cultural assault on Christian faith from those on “the left” who have “labored to push Christianity out of national life. They’ve kicked it out of the schools, out of the workplace, out of the fundamental parts of the public square.”

Southern Adventist University Denies That They’ve Approved a Turning Point USA Chapter on Campus

18 October 2025 |

Southern Adventist University (SAU) has denied a report by the website Fulcrum7 that there is a new chapter of Turning Point USA on its campus.

Turning Point USA (TPUSA) is a political organization founded by the late Charlie Kirk “to educate young people about the importance of limited government, free markets, and freedom.”

On October 15, Fulcrum7 wrote that

“Apparently there is a new TPUSA startup at Southern Adventist University—perhaps in the wake of Charlie’s assassination. From the new Chapter: ‘We’re a new startup at Southern Adventist University and we’re excited to join the tpusa community! We are fighting for free speech and freedom on a college campus!'”

The Southern Accent, SAU’s student newspaper, said on its Instagram page that

“Turning Point USA is NOT opening an official chapter at Southern Adventist University, according to Dennis Negrón, vice president for Student Development.”

The announcement on TPUSA’s website listed the two officers of the new chapter: Noel Hendrickson, president and treasurer; Izabel Sigulinski, vice president and secretary. Some commenters say these are former students, not current ones, though Adventist Today wasn’t able to confirm that. According to the handbook for student organizations at SAU, all student organizations must be approved by the university. Officers must be current students, and go through a registration process with the student development office.

Until an organization is registered, it cannot operate on behalf of Southern or take advantage of any privileges granted to registered Southern Student Organizations.”

A note from a SAU employee:

“I looked up the President and secretary/treasurer you mentioned for the reported upcoming chapter in our people finder for you. They are both listed as alumni, which would render them ineligible to start an official chapter here.”

Turning Point USA Gets a Chapter At Southern University

October 15, 2025 NewsHound

Turning Point USA (TPUSA) is an American nonprofit organization that advocates for conservative values on high school, college, and university campuses. It was founded in 2012 by Charlie Kirk and Bill Montgomery, with the goal of pushing back against the rampant ideological leftism on college campuses and universities.

According to their website, the student program exists to educate young people about the importance of limited government, free markets, and freedom.

With 800+ college chapters, Turning Point USA College is the largest and most impactful movement for promoting freedom-loving, American values. Students champion these initiatives by organizing into student-led chapters on their campus. Students are encouraged to be leaders in their communities and educate others on American ideals in a fun and compelling way.

Apparently there is a new TPUSA startup at Southern Adventist University—perhaps in the wake of Charlie’s assassination.
