BILLY GRAHAM AND ROME

by Chris Pinto

“I’ve found that my beliefs are essentially the same as those of orthodox Roman Catholics.”

– Billy Graham 1

To understand Billy Graham, his involvement in the Ecumenical Movement, and why he would accept something like the Templeton Award, we must understand his relationship with Rome. While the principles of ecumenism can be traced back for centuries (through the Gnostics, Rosicrucians, Freemasons, and of course the Parliament of World Religions) it was Rome’s Vatican II that “officially” launched the modern ecumenical movement. Vatican II opened the doors of Roman Catholicism (which the world largely views as the oldest form of Christianity) to all other religions of the world. This is why Vatican II is often referred to as “the ecumenical council.” As such, as the relationship of Billy Graham developed with the Vatican and the popes, his views became increasingly ecumenical. This has confused many people because they don’t make the Rome-connection. Graham, like many other Protestant Evangelicals, seems to be working to fulfill – not the Great Commission – but the mandate of Vatican II. Once this is understood, the rest of what Billy Graham has done begins to make sense.

The subject of Graham and Rome has been handled by many Christian writers, not the least of which is Ewin Wilson in his book, The Assimilation of Evangelist Billy Graham into the Roman Catholic Church. Wilson writes:

"For some unexplainable or even mysterious reason, Billy Graham is unable to discern the theological, moral, and spiritual soul of Roman
Catholicism. Likewise, he has failed to grasp, or worse still, has chosen to ignore the historical character of the entire Vatican system. Instead, he has chosen to become attracted, impressed, and finally to honor and follow the Holy See.

The result has been a tragic failure on his part to understand the difference between the truth of God's Word and the utter blackness of Roman Catholicism …” 5

A Catholic Agenda

Among the chief agents of the papacy are the Knights of Malta. It was two very powerful Knights of Malta, William Randolph Hearst and Henry Luce that made “Billy Graham” a household name. Hearst was the founder and president of a newspaper empire, and was openly known as a liar and manipulator of information. Perhaps the most notorious example of his dishonesty comes from the story of a reporter who was sent to cover a war story. “When the reporter cabled back that there was no war in progress and that he was ready to come home, Hearst reportedly wired back, ‘Please remain. You supply the pictures, and I'll supply the war.’”1 The term “yellow journalism” was originally coined to describe his journalistic practices. This same Hearst ordered his editors to “Puff Graham,” something that Graham himself acknowledged. In a later on-camera interview, the famous evangelist appeared bewildered when describing how certain reporters had told him, “You’ve just been kissed by William Randolph Hearst.” Meanwhile, Henry Luce was the founder of TIME, LIFE, and Fortune magazines, not to mention Sports Illustrated, who in 1961 was called “the giant of twentieth-century American journalism …” by Current Biography. He was also a Yale graduate, and member of the Skull & Bones Society. Henry Luce had articles specifically written about Billy Graham, and put him on the cover of TIME magazine in 1954. The rest, as we know, is history.

It was Luce, along with Hearst who are said to be most influential in making Graham the chief spokesman of Protestant Christianity. This is odd when one considers that both Hearst and Luce were members of a devout Catholic order that openly declares its purpose is “service to … the Holy Father (i.e. the pope).”2 Was it their intent to create a kind of “Protestant Pope” to guide the beliefs of non-Catholics? Whether they intended this or not, that is exactly what Billy Graham would become.

The Gospel according to Antichrist

“There was a pause in the conversation; suddenly the Pope's arm shot out and he grabbed the lapels of my coat, he pulled me forward within inches of his own face. He fixed his eyes on me and said, 'Listen Graham, we are brothers'" – Billy Graham, on his meeting with Pope John Paul II,(6/8/89, Today).8

Billy Graham's Warning to American Churches: 'Prepare for Persecution'

Evangelist Billy Graham speaks at the dedication of the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina, May 31, 2007.

The Rev. Billy Graham has issued a written warning to America's churches: "Prepare for persecution."

The renowned preacher and founder of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association penned a commentary that was posted on his website last week and is slated to appear in the November edition of Decision magazine.

In the magazine, Graham notes that the American church has been largely unfamiliar with persecution, writing that this "immunity to persecution that Christians in our country have experienced in the past two or three centuries is unusual."

"As a whole, our nation does not know what privation is. We do not know what sacrifice is. We do not know what suffering is. Suppose persecution were to come to the church in America, as it has come in other countries," wrote Graham.

"Since we have experienced little religious persecution in this country, it is likely that under pressure many would deny Christ. Those who shout the loudest about their faith may surrender soonest."

Graham went on to list "five ways to fortify yourself so that you will be able to stand in that day." These included making sure of one's relationship to God, walking with God, regularly reading Scripture, praying always, and meditating on Christ.

"Today our nation ranks as the greatest power on the face of the Earth. But if we put our trust in armed might instead of Almighty God, the coming conflict could conceivably go against us,"continued Graham.

"History and the Bible indicate that mechanical and material might are insufficient in times of great crisis."

For many years, some — especially in socially conservative circles — have argued that the United States is gradually marginalizing Christians.

They point to things like the censorship of manger scenes and Ten Commandments displays on government property and an inherent growth of secularism in media.

In recent years, Graham's son, the Rev. Franklin Graham, has become an outspoken critic of what he believes to be growing hostility toward Christians in America.

Earlier in October, Franklin Graham wrote a Facebook post in which he viewed the shooting at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon, as an example.

Chris Harper-Mercer opened fire on students at Umpqua, killing nine and wounding seven others before fatally shooting himself. Early reports indicated that he specifically targeted Christian students.

"Persecution and targeting of Christians isn't just in Iran or the Middle East, it's right here in America," wrote Franklin Graham.

"The bold souls at Umpqua Community College who stood up to say they were followers of Jesus Christ were heinously gunned down with no mercy. Jesus said, 'If they hate you, remember they hated me before they hated you,' (John 15:18)."

Billy Graham’s legacy and the thin line between church and state

She The People

By Mary C. Curtis

November 11 at 12:38 pm

The Rev. Billy Graham arrives at his birthday party, pushed by his grandson, Edward Graham. (Reuters)

CHARLOTTE — Visitors to Charlotte often travel from the airport to the city center via the Billy Graham Parkway. It can startle the first time, seeing a public roadway named for a major religious figure. But you get used to it once you’ve lived here awhile. You realize how much the region takes pride in its native son, though the life and history of the man called “America’s Pastor” illustrates — in even his own judgment – how tough it can be to maintain a separation of church and state. Should America have a pastor at all?

America is ambivalent about that line, as recent Supreme Court arguments over the issue of prayer before public meetings made clear. Those who check non-Christian or none of the above are usually not favored in these civic exhortations and end up in court to be heard.

Religion inevitably becomes mired in the political debate, with every side turning to the word of God for validation for particular policies – from abortion to aid to the poor.

In his long career, Graham has survived controversy over political alliances. He distrusted Catholic John F. Kennedy and was a Richard Nixon supporter, though a photo of Graham with JFK in the Billy Graham Library – just off the parkway – shows the handsome young evangelist giving the charismatic president a run for his money. President Richard Nixon embarrassed him over profanities on the Watergate tapes, and Graham apologized for his own caught-on-tape statements judged anti-Semitic.

But he never lost his prominence and has been honored across the globe. Coverage of his 95th birthday last Thursday in Asheville, N.C., respectfully reflected this tendency to hold him above the fray, despite a speech by former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and prominent appearances by occasional “birther” Donald Trump and North Carolina’s Republican governor Pat McCrory, no doubt happy to take a break from criticism for policies such as refusing federal Medicaid funds that could benefit many of the state’s uninsured.

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, now led by his son, Franklin Graham, is back to openly leaning Republican these days. The words of criticism of the increasing politicization of his ministry are generally aimed at Franklin Graham, whose touch is not quite as deft as his dad’s. He heartily endorsed Mitt Romney, and, over the issue of same-sex marriage, said President Obama had “shaken his fist” at God. That negated the symbolic meeting the elder Graham had with the president in the reverend’s Montreat, N.C. home.

At the Thursday celebration, Franklin Graham – with Rupert Murdoch, chairman and chief executive of News Corp. listening – praised Fox News. For the “greatest news in the world,” he said in a Washington Post report, “God is using the greatest news channel.” The cable channel aired a video “The Cross,” that featured Billy Graham’s speeches and message. When any money-making enterprise is given a heavenly imprimatur, it can make even a Christian uncomfortable. The opening of the library in 2007, with a bipartisan tableau of past presidents Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton (invited but not in attendance last week) seems a long time ago.

It was Billy Graham’s name on full-page newspaper ads that supported an amendment to North Carolina’s constitution – passed in May 2012 — that asserted marriage between one man and one woman as the only valid domestic legal union. Though it was an overwhelming victory overall, the state’s big cities, including Charlotte, rejected the amendment, signaling change in Graham’s Southern base. Young people, like their counterparts across the country, care less than their elders about social issues.

In North Carolina, same-sex couples are pushing for recognition of their unions, and Attorney General Roy Cooper, a Democrat and McCrory’s probable 2016 opponent, is on record as supporting marriage equality even as he vows to defend the ban. Cooper spoke on Saturday at the 2013 Equality North Carolina Foundation Gala in Greensboro, N.C., which has some conservative state organizations howling.

When I walked with Franklin Graham through the cross-shaped door into the library soon after it opened, he said those from other religions and non-believers were welcome; he said he hoped they would be inspired to accept Jesus Christ after a visit and reflection.

“My Hope America” is going nationwide with this evangelistic effort. “Christians across America will open their homes to share the Gospel message with friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors using one of several new evangelistic programs featuring life-changing testimonies and powerful messages from Billy Graham,” according to the campaign’s plan.

The religious and culture warrior is using new tools in an increasingly diverse America, one that has changed in his 95 years. It’s sure to have Graham and his familial and spiritual inheritors as well as those who disagree choosing sides and continuing the fight.

The IRS came after Billy Graham, too, his son charged Tuesday in a letter to President Barack Obama.

Franklin Graham, the president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and the family’s international humanitarian organization Samaritan’s Purse, said that the IRS notified the organizations in September that it was conducting a “review” of their activities for tax year 2010.  Continue Reading

'UN' Of Faith Groups Set Roles In Disaster Relief

Jun. 20, 2010

Baptist Food, Adventist Warehouses And Buddhist Money: In Disasters, Faith Groups Know Roles

(AP) RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - For every hurricane, earthquake or flood, there is help: food, bottled water, crews of volunteers nailing shingles to brand new roofs.

What even grateful recipients of that aid may not realize is that much of it comes from an unlikely hodgepodge of religious groups who put aside their doctrinal differences and coordinate their efforts as soon as the wind starts blowing.

Southern Baptists cook meals from Texas to Massachusetts. Seventh-day Adventists dispense aid from makeshift warehouses that can be running within eight hours. Mennonites haul away debris, Buddhists provide financial aid and chaplains with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team counsel the traumatized and grieving.

This "juice and cookies fellowship," as one organizer calls it, is mostly invisible to the public, but it provides interfaith infrastructure for disaster response around the country that state and federal officials could scarcely live without.

"Think of us as the United Nations of disaster relief," said Diana Rothe-Smith, executive director of National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster, the main umbrella group for coordinating emergency response from private agencies.

Although "Vo-ad," as it's usually called, includes groups with no religious affiliation, the bulk of its 50 or so members are relief arms of churches and other faith-based organizations. The organization, which formed in 1970, has grown from seven founding members and this spring signed a memorandum of understanding with the Federal Emergency Management Agency that will help its members respond quicker to disasters.

"There's a tendency when disasters happen to look at government, but there's an inherent risk in taking a government-centric approach to disaster response," said FEMA Administrator Craig Fugate.

The national group, which also works through state-level versions of the coalition, provides essential on-the-ground knowledge that government responders don't have time to develop on their own, Fugate said.

Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, for instance, is famous for its ability to prepare tens of thousands of hot meals at disasters from Hurricane Ike to flooding in New England. The North Carolina Baptist Men, for example, have three food trailers that can serve a combined 75,000 meals a day.

"The Red Cross distributes the meals, but it's Southern Baptists doing the cooking," said Lin Honeycutt, a volunteer with the North Carolina group for more than 20 years.

The denomination apparently developed its affinity for mass meals after a hurricane hit Texas in the early 1960s, but the vast group - there are more than 10,000 Southern Baptist disaster volunteers in North Carolina alone - can do everything from dispensing supplies to cleaning out inches of mud in flooded basements.

Deciding who does what has been a delicate process of building confidence in the capacity of groups as different as Jews and Scientologists, according to Bill Adams, director of Disaster Response Services for the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee and a former NVOAD president.

"Just getting all those people at the same table is a miracle, when you think about it," Adams said.

The groups' specialties have developed gradually in the course of responding to specific disasters. Adventists, for example, really began ramping up their warehousing expertise after Hurricane Andrew in 1992, according to Steve Stillwell, assistant to the Director for Adventist Community Services Disaster Response for the Carolina Conference.

"There were literally football fields 6-feet-deep of donated clothes and items that nobody could use, that ended up going to the landfill," he said. "Andrew was the biggest waste of resources. We directed our skills and training to the better utilization of donated resources, and we've been refining it ever since."

Theology may not play a role in how the specialties develop, but it can present a thorny question for religious believers who don't agree on much beyond the need to help victims of disasters.

Last month, a FEMA videographer was rebuked after telling volunteers not to wear church T-shirts in a video about tornado cleanup to avoid any religious message.

"There may be separation of church and state in government, but in a disaster we all work together," Fugate said.

Nevertheless, religious volunteers are sensitive to accusations of proselytizing to vulnerable, desperate people. After Haiti was devastated in January by an earthquake, Hollywood star John Travolta was criticized for bringing counselors from the Church of Scientology, to which he belongs, along with supplies to the island nation.

In a bid to address concerns, NVOAD's membership last year ratified a set of 10 principles for spiritual care, including the admonition that "Disaster response will not be used to further a particular political or religious perspective or cause."

"We feel we can be who we are and believe ultimately Christ is the answer, but to do it with respect has been our legacy," said Jack Munday, director of the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, which has more than 3,200 trained chaplains and crisis volunteers.

The delicate compromises and organizational development may be important, but for the people who benefit from the groups' service, the result is all that matters.

Moses Jones, 54, had to evacuate his home in Lake Charles, La., along with his parents, children and sister when Hurricane Katrina struck in 2005. When they returned a month later, the house that had seen three generations of his family was uninhabitable.

"The wind blew off the the siding, the shingles," he said. "I couldn't live there."

Eight teams of volunteers from the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee arrived shortly after, and today Jones said his house is in better shape than it was before Katrina. The particular denominations of his volunteers means little to him compared to the work they did.

"It was like angels came to help me," he said. "I'm Yahweh-blessed, godly blessed. I really feel that way."

These comments by evangelicalism's most famous evangelist are clearly out of sync with the biblical gospel. And yet, there are many today who cant seem to figure out what's true. Others don't seem to have the will to figure it out—they've become indolent and indifferent about truth and error. It's as if people prefer the Dark Ages to the Reformation....

Globalized Babylonian Banking Crisis: An Out of the Cities Calling

Globalized Babylonian Banking Crisis: An Out of the Cities Calling

by Sister Sabbay (November 30, 2008)
SDA Writer's Corner

Please watch video posted below, then proceed to read the full document. This is very important for Seventh-day Adventists in these End Times, warranting that God's people prayfully move OUT OF THE CITIES.

The SDA Churches' sleepiness and lack of edification will not be excused by God, as since 1844 we have possessed all the materials, permitting us to move forward with the Everlasting Gospel manifesting and teaching the Righteousness of the Messiah, unto Sealing and Empowerment, solidifying our Absolute and Unchanging Victory over sin.

Although both Benet Mandelbrot and Nassim Taleb are Atheists, their message appears to have some validity economically. The implications are important for our lifetime and need to be understood by all, as patient saints, cognizant of the Forthcoming Mark of the Beast, Enforced Sunday Law, as it will require ground work to establish a system that is centralized, controlled by the Papacy. Mandelbrot and Taleb, who endorse and author this book "Black Swan" (1987 during the Reagan Admin.) appear to have a grasp of the Volatility of the fast spreading Globalized Banking system.

This system is fragile I agree; placing centralized power in ONE BANK can never be stable. One mistake made by the Vatican's Papal Powers-that-be will create major problems for the populous (populace) .

Additionally, during the year of 1987, Reagan was meeting regularly with Pope John Paul II, suspectedly formalizing a Global Banking System. In 1999, at an Interfaith meeting, Pope John Paul II was elected the universal spokesperson, chief Spiritual Guide, and Overseer for the World. George W. Bush also stated that the best way to honor Pope John Paul II is to honor his word containing the Sanctity of pagan Sunday, thus supressing the Sanctified Sabbath (Exo 20:8).

As Seventh-day Adventists, we understand that Electronic Banking has serious implications for our Purchasing Power, thus we must prepare for this by learning how to grow our own providence, OUT OF THE CITIES. A Pseudo-Protestant, Billy Graham, an awardee of the Templeton prize, has been noted for his alignment with Papal Powers. Such an alignment by the Image of the Beast, Pseudo-Protestant Entities, will endorse the Forthcoming Mark of the Beast, Enforced Pagan Sunday Law and its PERSECUTION of 7th-day Sabbath keepers (Rev 13:15):

God calls his people out of ruins, let's revisit the example of Lot, instructing his family to LEAVE sodom and gomorrah, fleeing to the mountains, God's warning; avoiding destruction:

Gen 19:17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

We are TRULY in serious times, as was Lot and his family. As illustrated by the level of immorality, existing in our world today. Homosexuals conjoining in marital unions, a salient example. Another obvious example of extreme IMMORALITY is Trans-sexuals procreating; unnatural affection (Rom 1:31, 1Cor 6:9, 2Tim 3:3) combined with God's precious blessing of fruitfulness, multiplication of mankind; created in His own image (Gen 1:27). Mankind and its iniquities have reached unto heaven, leading into the loud cry of the third angel's message (Rev 14:9-11); the fourth angel's CRY (Rev 18:4,5).

Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

There are several other examples in the bible which illustrate an OUT OF THE CITY'S call. God has chosen the Seventh-day Adventist Message, a movement, which has been unique in re-enforcing the keeping of the ten commandments, the decalogue, the Character God and the Faith of Jesus (Isa 8:20, Rev 12:17, 14:12). God's True SDA remnant will continue with the movement, responding to God's calling, despite imminent Sunday Law Persecution (Rev 13:11-18). By Scriptural allegorical reference, Corporate and Elitest America is the "Lamb-Like Beast" that emerges as gentle and peaceful, yet speaks as a dragon (Rev 13:11). Recalling history, Pagan Rome enacted the Sunday law in AD 321, later re-enforced by Papal Rome, permitting the death and persecution of Seventh-day Sabbath Believers and Keepers. "In the days of Rome's supremacy there were instruments of torture to compel assent to her doctrines" (Great Controversy p.319/569).

We must abhor the Beast, The Romish Church's Papacy, and it's Image, Corporate and Elitest "Protestant" Entities within America, teaching others likewise, as harmony with the these Babylonian Powers is disharmony and disloyalty to God (Great Controversy p. 316/563). Martin Luther, a spiritually-driven reformer for Christ, was clear about his stance for absolute Truth in the scriptures. Sadly, "Protestantism" has majorly aligned with (Non-Denominationalism) Ecumenical deceptive teachings, falling into apostasy. Thus, the Roman Catholic church, Mother Harlot, and the "Protestant" Churches, its daughters (Rev 17:4,5) have become instruments of Satan, determined to prevent the completion of God's work. The Roman Church takes pride in the Laodicean condition of the SDA Movement (Rev 3:14,15). However, to God be the Glory, as "The reformation did not, as many suppose, end with Luther. It is to continue to the close of this world's history" (Great Controversy p.76/148). "But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day" (Pro 4:18).

Targeted individuals in these PRESENT TIMES may be victims of High Technological Electromagnetic weaponry, disguised killings, manifested as heart attacks, myocardial infarction. Vaccinations also can no longer be trusted as they have evidenced levels of mercury attributed to child emotional problems, such as Austism, a pervasive developmental disorder. Defraud European (by origin) pharmaceutical companies share in this disguised persecution of the populous, as they infiltrate medical organizations, steering physicians away from herbal remedies, encouraging legal drugs for "treatment". Thus brethren, we must diligently heed the calling of the TRUE WITNESS, Christ, remaining obedient and INFORMED; ensuring the sealing POWER OF GOD (Rev 12:17, Rev 7:4).

The teaching that the Seventh-day Adventist movement is Babylon is not of God (2 Selected Messages p. 63, 64), true Adventism is the Church of Philadelphia, uniquely obedient to God's ten commandments, loving and brotherly in character (Rev 3:7,8). As we understand that history will repeat itself, as the SDA church was given the precious message of RIGHTEOUSNESS by Faith (at the Minneapolis Conference by Elders Waggoner and Jones, Testimonies to Ministers p. 91, 92 ): for over 100 years, most rejected this PRECIOUS TRUTH, remaining lethargic and spiritually ASLEEP (Rev 3:14,15). God will move his message forward, with His True SDA remnant.

Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Overcomers in these end times will be fueled by the Holy Spirit's Early and Latter rain (Jer 5:24, Zech 10:1, James 5:7), bringing God's Harvest to the "Measure of the Stature of the fullness of Christ" (Eph 4:13). Our focus, the manifestation of the fruits of the Holy Spirit (Gal 5:22-23), as we "take on the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the WORD OF GOD" (Eph 6:17). The church of Philadelphia is true Adventism. As we prepare for the Latter Rain (James 5:7), embracing the return of Christ, true sincere believers must focus on becoming harvest ripe, perfecting Christ-like characters. Harvest ripe by biblical definition entails a process of establishing ..."first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear"(Mark 4:26-29). "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord" (Act 3:19). Once, our christ-like Characters have become converted and faultless, we have reached the stage of "the ear" , poised for the showers of the Spiritually enriching latter rain (Zech 10:1, James 5:7).

We must focus on strengthening the true church of Christ, those that keep the Ten commandments of God and the faith of Jesus Christ, adhering to the law and the testimony. The focus on the light of Truth, a non-negotiable objective, will be kept solely by true Christians, obedient and faithful; God's peculiar people (Isa 8:20, Titus 2:14, 1Peter 2:9, Rev 14:12). An uncompromising, unchangeable, immutable faith in the Messiah, our Reedemer, is thus required. God wants his chosen to daily grow in sanctification, developing in the Character of God. Finding love and reassurance in the Messiah by grace through faith, God's remnant can become firmly rooted in Truth; receptive of the Seal of God (John 15:1-7, Eph 2:8, Eph 4:30). With guile-free mouths and blemish-free garments, those chosen, successfully withstanding the trials and tribulations without the aid of an intercessor, will be rewarded as God's precious gems, 144,000 in number (Rev 7:1-4).

Most recently, in 2008, Banks inability to lend money is apparent as evidenced by the collapse of Banking systems, causing a tax fund Bail out. Globalization has far greater consequences than we have yet seen, as this 700 billion dollar issue along with hedge funds being forced to liquidate, driving its prices down, will create the most WORRISOME scenario for all. Powerful/Elite "Protestant" Entities in America will become the image of the Roman Catholic Church's Papacy, reinstating the laws of Sunday law persecution (Rev 13:11-18). The National Sunday Law by definition will begin and apply to the United States of America, later becoming globally standardized, while the world welcomes a cashless system. America, with it's tremendous Power and Influence, as per the scriptures, written by John the Revelator, will allow the Papacy to establish Sunday as a Persecutory law (Rev 13:14,15), THE MARK OF THE BEAST (Rev 13:16). Remember, while exiled on the Isle of Patmos, John was given allegorical visions, as the Romans would have murdered him, had they been able to understand his inspired messages.

We are truly living in the END TIMES and as the potential 144,000, we will need to be spiritually equip to withstand trials and tribulation without Christ's mediation (Daniel 12:1,2; Rev 6:17, 7:1-4). The Mark of the Beast, ENFORCED Sunday Pagan Worship, having "no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image" [Romanism &"Protestant" Entities] (Rev 13:11-18, Rev 14:9-11), will cause a loss of purchasing power for God's chosen. However, the Creator will provide resources for His own "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna..." coriander seed, honey wafers (Exo 16:31, John 6:58, Rev 2:17). The Ten Commandments, a legal and binding Heavenly governmental ordinance, will be a last day constitutional mandate, maintained by God's chosen (Exo 20, Rev 14:12). Spiritual Babylonians will be a tool by satan, persecuting the remnant of Christ's seed (Rev 12:17). Be encouraged, as persecution will purify the faithful body of Christ (Mal 3:1-3, Tit 2:11-15, Rev 14:1-5), reserving their seat at the throne of God (Rev 3:21).

Ye shall receive Power,

BILLY GRAHAM, CATHOLICISM AND APOSTASY

Billy Graham, Catholicism, and Apostasy

Billy Graham with the Pope in Nov. 1982

Billy Graham praises the pope, a man who allows himself to be called God (see Blasphemy 101)
When Billy Graham was on the Phil Donahue show on 10-11-79, he said that pope John Paul II was someone that he could quote with "some real authority." He also said that the world was looking for a spiritual leader and that the pope didn't pull any punches. [Lord have mercy, Jesus]

Billy Graham receives honorary degree from Catholic college
Billy Graham received an honorary doctorate from Catholic priests at Belmont Abbey College in 1967. He called it, "a time when Protestants and Catholics could meet together and greet each other as brothers, whereas 10 years ago they could not". He joked around, "I'm not sure but what this could start me being called "Father Graham".
("Belmont Abbey Confers Honorary Degree," Paul Smith, Gazette staff reporter, The Gastonia Gazette, Gastonia, North Carolina, Nov. 22, 1967).

Billy Graham turns Catholic converts back to Catholic religion
These poor people come forward to receive Christ but when the Billy Graham counselors get to 'em they turn them back over to Catholic priests--keeping them in the same system of bondage!
In 1957, Graham said, "Anyone who makes a decision at our meetings is seen later and referred to a local clergyman, Protestant, Catholic, or Jewish." (San Francisco News).

According to The Florida Catholic (Sept. 1983) 600 people were turned over to the Catholic religion as a result of the Orlando crusade.

At Billy Graham's 1984 Vancouver, British Columbia crusade, the vice-chairman of the organizing committee said, "If a Catholic steps forward there will be no attempt to convert them and their names will be given to the Catholic church nearest their homes" (Vancouver Sun, Oct. 5, 1984). [Lord, have mercy!]

Billy Graham even had a Catholic priest SUPERVISE the 6,600 counselors for the Denver crusade. Information on the hundreds of Catholics who came forward were sent to a Catholic organization in Denver. (Wilson Ewin, Evangelism: The Trojan Horse of the 1990s).

An ecumenical advisor to the Catholic religion noted in 1989 that "Those who come forward for counseling during a mission evening in June, if they are Roman Catholic, will be directed to a Roman Catholic 'nurture-group' under Roman Catholic counselors in their home area" (John Ashbrook, New Neutralism II, Mentor, Ohio: Here I Stand Books, 1992, p. 35).

The Catholic archdiocese in Portland, Oregon, set a goal to supply 6,000 of the 10,000 counselors needed for the Graham crusade. All Catholics responding to the altar call were channeled to the Catholic religion. These are just a few examples of many.

Billy Graham thinks that infants can become Christian through baptism
But the Bible says that by the works of the flesh shall no man be justified. Baptism comes after faith in Jesus Christ. Look what Billy Graham told the Lutheran Standard in October 1967,
"I do believe that something happens at the baptism of an infant... we cannot fully understand the mysteries of God, but I believe that a miracle can happen in these children so that they are regenerated, that is, MADE CHRISTIAN, THROUGH INFANT BAPTISM."
Billy Graham don't believe hell is literal fire

"...I think people have a hard time believing God is going to allow people to burn in literal fire forever. I think the fire that is mentioned in the Bible is a burning thirst for God that can never be quenched."
The Orlando (Florida) Sentinel for April 10, 1983

Hell isn't based on our human reasoning. According to Matthew's Gospel, it was created for the Devil and his angels, but people that reject Jesus Christ will be up in there too.

Billy Graham let apostate Catholic Bishop bless new converts
In 1962, a Roman Catholic bishop of Sao Paulo, Brazil, blessed the people that came forward at the invitation. (Daily Journal, International Falls, Minnesota, Oct. 29, 1963, cited by the New York Times, Nov. 9, 1963).
Those poor people came to Graham for help and he let an idolater bless them. Has he not read that behind every idol is a devil? Yet he let that man "bless" the people of God.

Billy Graham befriends heretics
In 1959, Graham invited the liberal Bishop James A. Pike to lead in prayer at one of his crusades. Yet Pike said in an Episcopal letter: "Religious myth is one of the avenues of faith and has an important place in the communication of the Gospel." He called the Garden of Eden a myth and said, "The virgin birth... IS A MYTH which churchmen should be free to accept or reject..."
What I've supplied here don't even touch the tip of the iceberg of Billy Graham's cozy relationships with heretics.

Billy Graham gives stamp of approval on practically every Bible version that comes out
In one of his endorsements for the "New Living Translation," He says, "...I am pleased to recommend the New Living Translation for even greater readability and accuracy." The King James Bible is highly readable and pinpoint accurate. People have been getting saved by reading the King James Bible and they've been growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ through it. There is no need for another "translation." But the Devil will keep 'em coming as long as people are foolish enough to buy them.
