Shall We Gather At The River sung by The London Fox Singers from the album, Hymn Styles- Down Home Gospel. This song is actually about gathering in heaven at God's throne to praise and worship Him throughout all eternity. "Shall We Gather at the River?" (or simply "At the River") is a traditional Christian hymn, written by American poet and gospel music composer Robert Lowry (1826-1899). It was written in 1864. The name of the tune that was used is called, "Beautiful River".
