The left isn’t celebrating America anymore — what will they celebrate instead?

Happy Fourth of July!

I wonder — how many Americans will be bothered or offended by that greeting today? And how many more Independence Days will we celebrate as a country? We have made it to 250, but it’s hard to imagine another hundred. It is much easier to imagine 20 or less.

A strong argument can be made that the left — via majority control of the media, academia, entertainment, science and medicine — is slowly but surely winning the messaging war. In fact, you might say they are crushing it.

Just look at the trend of stories online citing the fact that millions of Americans have little or no interest in celebrating the 250th anniversary of our nation. Or look at the rise of so-called “democratic socialist” candidates, who look upon the country created by our Founding Fathers as something that needs to be torn down and rebuilt from the inside. Don’t forget about the alarming results of a recent poll showing that more than half of Americans under age 30 said believe “democracy isn’t essential to the country’s identity.

It is little wonder. Many of those young Americans grew up believing, after years of being taught in school, that our Founding Fathers were White supremacists and evil slave-owners from the privileged class, whose vision, courage and sacrifice must now be reexamined, rewritten and largely swept into the dustbin of history.


But it’s not just young people. In a recent Beacon Research-Shaw and Company Research-Fox News poll, Americans were split over America 250. Fifty-one percent of registered voters said they were excited for the 250th anniversary, while 49 percent said they were not. It is a result that would have been shocking before the Trump era; now it is the accepted norm.

As this evolution in viewing the history and meaning of our nation continues, here is a logical question: What day, reason, or event will the left pick to replace the Fourth of July?

Will it be May 1, International Workers’ Day? That is the day chosen by communist leaders and countries to honor the labor movement, the working class, and the ideological triumph of socialism. Will some on the left want to switch out the names of Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Benjamin Franklin to celebrate instead Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, Fidel Castro or Pol Pot?

Or will those who are suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome lean toward Jan. 20, 2029, because that will be the last day of the Trump presidency?

As the Fourth of July and the history of our Founding Fathers — one I wrote about in my book, “The 56” — continues to wither under the constant smears from the left, it is natural to wonder what those who revile the the birth of our nation and the dead white men behind it will glorify in their place? If the current trend continues, we may find out much sooner than later.

A PROCLAMATION

This Jewish American Heritage Month, we honor the countless contributions of Jewish Americans throughout our Nation’s 250 glorious years of independence, and we celebrate their unwavering commitment to the values that make our country great — faith, family, and freedom.

In his letter to the Hebrew Congregation in Newport, Rhode Island, in 1790, President George Washington beautifully said, “May the Children of the Stock of Abraham, who dwell in this land, continue to merit and enjoy the good will of the other Inhabitants; while everyone shall sit in safety under his own vine and fig tree, and there shall be none to make him afraid.” Since the earliest days of our Republic, Jewish Americans have helped build the cause of liberty and sustain the greatness of our Nation. Among them was the iconic Haym Salomon, an early supporter of the war for independence. As stories tell us, Salomon was instrumental in the success of our Continental Congress and Founding Fathers, and rallied support for freedom. He was a zealous advocate against tyranny, and even after imprisonment by the British Crown, he continued his work in defense of freedom. In the end, he gave everything to the success of the American Revolution. Like so many Jewish Americans who follow in his footsteps, Salomon’s legacy stands as a testament to the unshakable belief in the American promise.

In the same letter to the Hebrew Congregation at Newport, President Washington proclaimed that the United States “gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance.” Under my leadership, we are aggressively fighting the violence against Jewish Americans that increased under my predecessor, prosecuting hateful criminals to the fullest extent of the law, and working to end the scourge of anti-Semitism throughout our institutions, especially on college campuses. As President, I will never stop fighting to protect our birthright of religious freedom — a sacred right that continues to guide our Nation, drawing us closer to the Almighty each and every day.

Throughout this historic year, we rejoice in the triumph of the American spirit and rededicate ourselves to the cause of liberty and justice for all. In special honor of 250 glorious years of American independence and on the weekend of Rededicate 250 — a national jubilee of prayer, praise, and thanksgiving — Jewish Americans are encouraged to observe a national Sabbath. From sundown on May 15 to nightfall on May 16, friends, families, and communities of all backgrounds may come together in gratitude for our great Nation. This day will recognize the sacred Jewish tradition of setting aside time for rest, reflection, and gratitude to the Almighty.

This month, we celebrate the contributions that Jewish Americans have made to our way of life, we honor their role in shaping the story of our Nation, and we remember that religious devotion, learning, and service to others are enduring pillars of a thriving culture. Through every trial and triumph, the contributions of Jewish Americans have shaped our past, have strengthened our communities, and will continue to inspire American greatness for generations to come.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim May 2026 as Jewish American Heritage Month. I call upon Americans to celebrate the heritage and contributions of Jewish Americans and to observe this month with appropriate programs, activities, and ceremonies. I further call on all Americans to celebrate their faith and freedom throughout this year, during this month, and especially on Shabbat to celebrate our 250th year.

Blending Adventism with Lavender Graduation is like mixing used motor oil with fresh orange juice. It profanes the sacred with rainbow glitter poured over the altar.

Yet on June 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in Sierra Vista Chapel at La Sierra University Church in Riverside, Kinship Sabbath School will host its Lavender Graduation for the “LGBT+ Class of 2026.”

They celebrate “resilience and resistance.” It is a resistance to the plain Word of God. This is no innocent ceremony. Lavender graduations began in the 1990s to celebrate what Scripture calls sin. Now it invades a Seventh-day Adventist chapel. Graduates wear lavender stoles, hear their identities cheered without repentance, and turn a house intended for worship into a platform for pride — the very spirit God resists (Proverbs 16:18; James 4:6).

Friends and “chosen family” will applaud as rebellion is renamed righteousness.

Liberal adventism (lower case intentional) thrives on this. It craves cultural applause, trading “Thus saith the Lord” for “Thus feels the culture.” Biblical authority bends to personal experience.

Objecting to this abomination will get you called ‘homophobic.’ The sad truth is these people are Biblephobes and Holinessphobes.

Notice the profound difference beween this Seventh-day Adventist school and Biola University, a non-Adventist school.

"Biola’s Position on Marriage and Sexuality

“Biola University’s position on marriage affirms the goodness of sexual relationships as designed by God to be expressed within the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman. More information on the University’s theological position regarding human sexuality may be found in its Board of Trustees’ approved Statement of Biblical Principles: God’s Intentional Design for Life.

We believe that sexual activity outside of marriage, behavior involving or having the potential to lead to sexual activity outside of marriage (including, but not limited to nudity, cohabitation, pornography), and sexual activity between two persons of the same sex (whether or not married) is contrary to God’s intentional design for sexuality. Living out God’s intent for sexual expression, while requiring sacrifice at times, is ultimately a source of freedom (John 10:10). Biola hopes to foster a community where living according to this intent helps each person thrive personally, relationally, and spiritually.

Biola’s Position on Gender

Biola University’s position on gender affirms the goodness of God’s creation of humankind as male and female. Specifically, in its Statement of Biblical Principles: God’s Intentional Design for Life, Biola states, “We believe God created all things and set in place the laws of nature, not according to random chance but according to his perfect, miraculous and purposeful plan...God created the natural world and called it good, and after he created male and female he declared his creation very good.”

Our sex as male or female is a biological given of the individual human person from conception made manifest at birth, and is a stable characteristic of the person determined by God’s creational intent.”

Wow.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani on Tuesday compared the plight of the Irish to the “genocide” in Palestine — as he used a St. Patrick’s Day celebration to rip the “deafening silence from so many” on the Israel-Hamas war.

The Democratic socialist dropped the Gaza-related remarks as he hosted Ireland’s former President Mary Robinson for breakfast at Gracie Mansion to kickstart the Big Apple’s annual St. Patrick’s Day festivities — though neither mentioned the plight of Iranians under brutal theocratic rule.

“Who can better understand those who weep than those who have been made to weep for so long? The story of the Irish, both in Ireland and in New York City, is at one time a story of oppression, of subjugation, and of discrimination,” Mamdani said.

(New York, NY) – After a weekend full of Iranian Americans celebrating the killing of Ayatollah Khomeini in the streets, now the mourners are taking over Washington Square Park. The vigil is being hosted by several left-wing activist groups including Crown Heights Bites Back and the Bronx Anti-War Coalition. The groups have held similar events for other notorious leaders from the Middle East including Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.

In an Instagram post promoting the event, organizers say: “this vigil is a solemn reminder that Amerikan colonial violence is a singular evil”. Councilwoman Vickie Paladino, who could be facing censure by the council’s ethics committee, decried the event on social media.

Meanwhile, Operation Epic Fury continues in Iran. President Donald Trump says a ground incursion would be a waste of time. The Islamic Republic has been hit hard according to US officials, however Iran is still launching attacks using drones. Iran is vowing to retaliate after the US successfully sank an Iranian warship. There is still a power vacuum left after the death of Khomeini. The late Supreme Leader’s son has been selected as his replacement, but President Trump says that would be the worst possible choice and vows the US will play a role in choosing the future leader of Iran.

How incongruous? Mayor Zorhan Mamdani and Ayatollah Khamenei

While Zohran Mamdani becomes the Mayor of New York City, Ayatollah Khamenei is facing protests and civil unrest in Tehran. Mamdani is not only a Democratic Socialist, but also a Shia Muslim, specifically a Twelver. Similarly, Ayatollah Khamenei is also a Shia Muslim and holds the highest authority in the Islamic Republic of Iran, a theocratic state. The contrast between Mamdani in New York City, USA and Ayatollah Khamenei is stark and noteworthy. While Mamdani, a Shia Muslim, takes on the role of mayor in New York City, his fellow Shia Muslim, Ayatollah Khamenei, is potentially facing a coup d'etat and the loss of his authority.
