A Romp through the Fauci Diaries: Fame Turns to Shame

A Romp through the Fauci Diaries: Fame Turns to Shame  What's in Them?

By Jeffrey A. Tucker August 3, 2026

Brownstone Journal

On the fifth anniversary of Brownstone Institute’s founding, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) released the diaries of Anthony Fauci during the Covid years until his retirement. They were written on government computers with the assistance of aides, so in no way are they private. They belong to the public, though it’s my judgment that it was intended to be notes toward an autobiography.

Reading them carefully (1,100 pages but in book form it would be twice that long) took me almost a full week. It is a look inside the state/corporatist system possibly without precedent. It doesn’t provide the entire picture of events but it is remarkably candid, especially if you read and know the context outside of the diarist’s head.

The first spin on this book is partially correct: it’s an exercise in vanity. True. Vast amounts of the text consist of hagiographic tributes without a hint of the grave damage done to people’s lives by the lockdowns, closures, and censorship.

But there is much more here. It’s the story not only of the wreckage imposed on a nation and generation of kids; it’s also the story of the descent of a soul at every stage of decline: social climbing, fame, egomania, political machinations, megalomania, duplicity, self-deception, intensifying levels of malice, exhaustion using courtiers as salve, and ending in total defeat realized only inchoately.

Reading it is a remarkable experience. It’s obviously not well written but that is a strength, a bit like how the Blair Witch Project is scarier due to its low budget. It’s raw and painful, alarming and shocking, and ultimately speaks to much more than the life of the author. It’s really a window into systemic corruption of nearly all the commanding heights of society itself, and offers a devastating indictment of the ruling class in government, media, science, and industry.

Does Fauci catch on that the media was using him as much as he was using them; that is, that he inhabited a world of fakery? Maybe but he decides early on that it is his only choice. He has to keep it up, otherwise his whole world crumbles. He just kept going for one year, two years, then three.

This Icarus just kept flapping his wings without realizing that they were melting.

Dr. Anthony Fauci is set to appear on Capitol Hill on Wednesday after being subpoenaed to testify about the origins of COVID-19. Dr. Richard Ebright, a professor of biology at Rutgers, has testified on this issue before, and tells NewsNation's Rich McHugh that the recent pages from Fauci's private journals are beyond damning.

Regional Conference Weighs in on Voter ID and Redistricting

May 26, 2026 NewsHound

On their Facebook page, the South Central (regional) conference posted a statement yesterday about voting rights. Here’s the statement:

Some Online Comments:
  • “For all those saying this is inappropriate? Remember that this church was founded on the abolition movement, religious liberty (for all), and supporting public policies that improve the social fabric (as misguided as temperance was). The SDA movement was progressive and political”
  • “As a SDA, and a person of color. I would like say this to this woke conference that no one is denying anyone to vote, especially me since I've been voting here in Georgia for many years. BTW...Showing your id to vote, is not racist. Perhaps the racists is the South Central Conference, please stop speaking for us, thank you.”
  • “No one is being denied the right to vote. Redistricting needs to be done in some cases to prevent the gerrymandering that has gone on for years. The church needs to stay out of this.”
  • “So what exactly is this letter saying? As far as I know, if you are a US citizen you have the right to vote. If you have to show identification to prove you are a citizen, I don't see the problem. Why would redistricting cause any issue? You still have that right. These are genuine questions, not arguments. Im not looking for opinion, I'd like facts.”
  • “This is pure politics dressed in holiness robes. Gerrymandering voter districts by race is illegal! That it has been done, and a slight bit of it is now being UNdone, is not a civil rights issue to begin protesting.”
  • “I wonder where the similar outrage post was when Virginia, California, New York, Massachusetts, etc. were all making similar redirecting changes. Strange how SDAs had no concern with politics then?”
  • “Thank you for this statement! HOWEVER!! This is NOT the stance of “the church“ by and large ( that a party or candidate is not endorsed). We need to address that. We are here because of “the church’s“ participation in what got us here in the first place.”
  • “Not like some SDA members care what is voted for. We voted on “no” women pastors but here we are.”

Pressure on DOJ to prosecute Anthony Fauci grows after adviser indicted—with days left to charge COVID ‘lies’

WASHINGTON — The indictment of Dr. Anthony Fauci’s former adviser David Morens Tuesday revived calls for the Justice Department to prosecute Fauci himself for allegedly lying to Congress about funding risky research in China before the COVID-19 pandemic.

Just two weeks remain before the five-year legal deadline on May 11 to indict Fauci for denying under oath that he funded “gain of function” experiments that modified bat coronaviruses in the same city where the pandemic started.

Morens, 78, was charged with one count of conspiracy, two counts of destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in federal investigations and two counts of concealment, removal, or mutilation of records relating to the origins of COVID-19. He faces up to 51 years in prison.

Critics say Fauci, 85, bears the most responsibility and that he should be hauled into court.

Trump told The Post in a phone interview on March 31 that he intended to “look into” Fauci’s status and Republicans say they believe acting attorney general Todd Blanche, who is seeking the role permanently, might be willing to test Trump’s assertion that former President Joe Biden’s preemptive autopen pardons, including for Fauci, are invalid.

“99% of this country has no idea who Morens is,” said Oversight Project President Mike Howell.

“It’s Fauci that they will blame for one of the worst government catastrophes in history in America. And so the test is Fauci. The Morens indictment is great, and we applaud it. But there are a lot of people out there that want to see Fauci held to account for the damage he wrought.”

Howell, whose group sent the Justice Department a draft indictment for Morens last year, believes the adviser’s actions were closely linked to his boss.

“[Fauci] lied about one of the most damaging events in American history routinely and was behind a massive coverup of the key factors,” Howell said.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), to whom Fauci allegedly lied, told The Post that “we’ve been looking through a lot of information on this for the last year or so. The Trump administration has been much more forthcoming than the Biden administration ever was.”

Illegal immigrants from Africa, India and China are voting in US elections — here’s how they’re doing it

By Chadwick Moore

A Mauritanian illegal immigrant marked for deportation since 2002 has continued to live in the US and is a registered Democrat who voted in every election since 2008, authorities claim.

Mahady Sacko, 50, who goes by the nickname “Sacko Scorpion,” was busted last week in Philadelphia for allegedly falsely claiming citizenship to cast a 2024 ballot.

He was picked up in a joint operation between Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the FBI who charge he “falsely represented that he was a US citizen in order to vote and register to vote” in the last preidential election, according to a press release.

Sacko denied the charges when called by The Post, claiming: “Everything is a lie! They are lying about me!” before hanging up. He has yet to enter a plea in his case.

As the issue of election security ramps up in Congress with the SAVE act, Sacko’s arrest was one of nearly a dozen uncovered by The Post of non-citizens allegedly voting in US elections, sometimes for decades, with many remaining listed as active voters on state rolls, even after their convictions.

“The reality is aliens are voting in American elections,” J. Christian Adams, president of Public Interest Legal Foundation, who has spent decades working on election integrity told The Post, noting no one is quite sure how widespread the problem is.

Ganoune Diop Out as Parl Director

July 9, 2025NewsHound

The nominating committee rejected the name of Ganoune Diop as PARL director, and did not come up with a replacement name until yesterday.

The person they eventually nominated is Nelau Burcea.

Observations
  • Ganoune Diop was elected to the position of PARL director in 2015. Before his election at the 60th General Conference Session in San Antonio, Texas, he served as the church’s liaison to the United Nations in New York and Geneva.
  • In October 2011, Ted Wilson spoke in Wilmington, Ohio. He was accompanied by Ganoune Diop. Wilson was warned several times in the ensuing years that Diop was getting in too deep with ecumenism and the United Nations. Diop seemed to be protected and given wide freedom.
  • In June 2016, Diop gave a speech at a United Nations Conference titled “Freedom of Religion or Belief and Sexuality: A Conversation,” at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. He said that Christians have a responsibility based on the central Judeo-Christian belief that all human beings are created in God’s image. This responsibility, he said, is to recognize the stamp of the divine in every person and to extend to them the love and respect that Christ modeled in His relationships even with fallen humanity. This should lead us to say no to any form of discrimination against LGBTQ+ individuals. This same U.N. released a report in June of 2023 to persuade religious communities to comply with the LGBTQ agenda.
  • The United Nations increasingly sees LGBTQ rights and religious convictions as being in conflict. Their default position is the elevation of human rights (ie. LGBTQ) over biblical morality. Adventists have no business being connected to the United Nations and should sever all ties with them as an act of urgent biblical hygiene.
  • Diop was instrumental in creating the 2021 Re-Affirmation Statement. This statement stripped away the rights of Seventh-day Adventists to claim religious liberty as a basis for Covid vaccination exemption during the 2021 Biden vaccine mandates, and SDA hospital mandates (that the GC supported),
  • Diop also claimed in June 2024 that the SDA church did not promote the C-19 vaccinations. This is not true, as evidenced by this article.
  • In January 2019, Ganoune Diop hosted a meeting to encourage church organizations to assist the UN in achieving its 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Most of the PARL departments in American Adventism are tilted left, politically, including the Lake Union, Pacific Union, Michigan Conference, and NAD PARL. Liberty Magazine also leans hard left. This begs the question, is denominational leftism driving our PARL departments, or are PARL directors pushing leftism on the church?
  • Now we have a new PARL director. Nelu Burcea has been in PARL for 10 years. He has a PHD in economics, and a Masters degree in Business Management Development and a bachelors degree in Theology. He’s Romanian. He’s been the liaison with the UN and EU. He has post doctoral training at both Oxford and Harvard.
  • Will he have the courage and conviction to uphold a biblical worldview in spite of cultural pressure from the unholy United Nations, and ecumenical pressures from religious globalism? We pray that he will.
