MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police in Memphis say a man suspected of fatally shooting his girlfriend and her parents surrendered to authorities two hours later with his 4-year-old daughter in tow.
Police spokeswoman Karen Rudolph says police were called to the victims’ home early Thursday. They found the woman and her father dead. The woman’s mother was injured and died later in a hospital.
Rudolph said the shooter fled the scene, but then turned himself in at a police station with the child, who had been in the home but was not hurt. The preschooler was the daughter of the alleged shooter and his girlfriend.
Police have yet to release identities of the victims or the suspect. Charges are pending. Rudolph says police do not have a motive.
