Who's ready to fall back and get that extra hour of sleep tonight? After Halloween festivities this evening, we may need it.
Daylight saving time ends Sunday, November 1 at 2:00 a.m., so remember to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed.
If you're feeling a bit confused about the time, you can check the official U.S. time online.
And since we all have a few extra minutes tonight, check out this earlier post about DST's history, proper pronunciation (not "savings") and energy-saving abilities, or lack thereof.
Perhaps more important, The Oregonian's John Snell reminds us not to change the batteries in our smoke detectors, but why it's time to buy a new smoke detector.Source: http://www.oregonlive.com/idahosportugal/index.ssf/2009/10/time_change_fall_back_as_dayli.html
