Where do Evangelical and Catholic Perspectives Dovetail?

During the current Republican Primary Cycle, and the just concluded Iowa Caucus, I was flabbergasted by the statements I heard concerning the candidate Rick Santorum.

The former United States Senator from Pennsylvania has received endorsement for his Presidential Campaign from The Duggars, a "Christian Celebrity" family on TLC network; Sarah Palin, ex-Governor of Alaska and Christian Conservative commentator; Cornerstone Church pastor and evangelical leader Cary Gordon; And, Chuck Hurley, vice president of the Iowa-based Christian group, The Family Leader, also the group's president and CEO, Bob Vander Plaats.

It amazes me how much propaganda regarding Mr. Santorum is being spread as if it were news. They repeat ad nauseam that Sen. Santorum is a Social Conservative. What an Oxymoron?

What does that mean in plain English?

He's a Conservative that leans towards Socialism? Or, 'Social' as in a 'Social Drinker' who drinks moderately and never gets drunk? Yet, I know that he drinks from the Wine of Babylon flowing freely from the Church of Rome, since he is a 'devout' Roman Catholic and their agenda is The Common Good.

Now, you might ask what is the Wine of Babylon?

Jer 51:7
Rev 14:8
Rev 16:19

The pagan doctrines accepted as Biblical Truth is referred to as the Wine of Babylon. You see the Roman Catholic Church has many traditions it abides by that are contrary to God's Ten Commandments, and defy common sense. The Church relies on the Bible, as well as its traditions; Both are equal in importance according to the Roman Catholic Catechism. What really baffles me is that all these Evangelicals (previously part of what was known as Protestants) endorse an active Roman Catholic that promotes social theology, or better described as theocracy.

There are two fundamental 'conservative' views which Santorum and the Evangelicals share; Those are the objection to Abortion and Same Sex Marriage.

Now, which of these practices do Evangelicals agree with?

The Transubstantiation of the blood of Christ into the wafer (Eucharist)?
The praying to the Virgin Mary and the pantheon of Saints?
The praying of the Rosary?
The veneration of 'holy' statues?
The recital of certain prewritten prayers?
The confession of sin to a priest?

I think that they would feel differently if they would analyze what endorsing a candidate really implies.

I hold no personal anymosity towards Roman Catholics since many of my relatives are Catholic, and most of my ancestors were also. I truly respect and care for these people, but, I would prefer for them to read the Holy Scriptures and compare their long held beliefs to what the Bible approves.

Folks, we are living in prophetic times, a time similar to Lot's time in Sodom and Gomorrah, as Jesus foretold would occur in the final days:

Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Luke 17: 28,29.

Which brings me back to my original dilemma-

Where do Evangelical and Catholic Perspectives Dovetail?

I believe that it's been a long time since the slogan: No King or Pope!

Very few Christians know why religious liberty was established in this country.

Americans of sound mind would like to take their country back, or return to a time when morality was held in high regard by all of society. But, the only way this will be achieved is by imposing laws to restrict behavior, and at this point in time I see this as futile. Nothing, short of divine intervention can restore humanity to morality.

Nowadays, Evangelicals and Roman Catholics rally around the two hot-button issues of Abortion and Same Sex Marriage. That's what's it all boils down to folks!

There are no real moral values that anyone can point to since 'everything goes' in today's world. Even in the so- called Christian Churches. There are no absolutes anymore! No black and white,, only gray areas.

Your 10 year-old daughter needs a vaccine so she won't get cervical cancer; Your 11 year old son gets gender neutral sex education in Elementary School; Your 12 year old son gets free condoms, so he won't have unprotected sex. Your 13 year daughter has tattoos! Etc. ...

What can we expect in the near future as predicted by prophecy and confirmed by our religious leaders and politicians?

A Dominionist Theocracy? That's what they will call for before long.

Just listen...

It's already happening.
