Organic vs. Conventional?
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (www.fda.gov) the most contaminated produce, ranked from highest to lowest are:

These 12 foods account for more than half of the total pesticide exposure. They should be avoided unless they are organic.Peel all non-organic fruit and remove the outer leaves of leafy vegetables such as lettuce and cabbage.
