Revelation 13:3…And all the world wondered after the beast. The scenes of Revelation 13 are fast fulfilling. This morning we have been privied to a 141 page document called “Caritas in veritate” or ‘Charity in Truth’. It was released by the Vatican as written by pope Benedict. This document is contrare to everything that God blessed America with. The pope calls for moral control or in other words ‘force’ to control the world economy. He calls for a uniting of morals and society i.e. church and state. For years there has been a call for sunday sacredness and this seems to be gaining ground more than ever. The link above is the full document and it goes in depth into a number of items that literally should be sirens to those who believe in bible prophecy.
Benedict said “there is an urgent need of a true world political authority” whose task would be “to manage the global economy; to revive economies hit by the crisis; to avoid any deterioration of the present crisis and the greater imbalances that would result.”
Such an authority would have to be “regulated by law” and “would need to be universally recognized and to be vested with the effective power to ensure security for all, regard for justice, and respect for rights.”
“Obviously it would have to have the authority to ensure compliance with its decisions from all parties, and also with the coordinated measures adopted in various international forums,” he said.
Can it be put any more clearly that this man is calling for control?! In order for the scenes of Revelation 13 to truly be fulfilled, what the pope says above, must happen…
It was addressed to all Catholics as well as “all people of good will” and was released on the eve of the start of the G8 Summit in Italy and three days before the pope is due to discuss the global downturn with U.S. President Obama.
In other sections of the encyclical, his first on social issues since his 2005 election, he addressed topics such as development, migration, union rights, terrorism, sexual tourism, population issues, the environment, bioethics, and energy.
The one that got me was that of union rights. Check out this statement below:

The work of the people of God is to prepare for the events of the future, which will soon come upon them with blinding force. In the world gigantic monopolies will be formed. Men will bind themselves together in unions that will wrap them in the folds of the enemy. A few men will combine to grasp all the means to be obtained in certain lines of business. Trades unions will be formed, and those who refuse to join these unions will be marked men.–Letter 26, 1903. {CL 10.3}

Now is the time to awake out of the sleep that we have been in. We need to be daily preparing to meet our Lord through bible study, prayer, witnessing, and reflection. God will be by our side to the very end. He is looking for a people as foretold of in Revelation 7. When He finds those people, then and only then will the final events take place.
I believe with all of my heart that He is awakening those that will be a part of that special number.
