Prism? How about Prison?

As I focus on the things I hear in the news -that our government does-  under  the pretext of national security, I am quickly reminded of these Bible verses:
See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

- Ephesians 5:15-17.

What about all this surveillance?

We learnt yesterday that the government through its NSA, has a comprehensive domestic espionage program called Prism; From what I have heard, it tracks foreigners' (who live in the US) communications within the U.S. and also abroad. Well, it seems that that scope has been enlarged to include every American citizen, not just suspicious 'foreigners'. Prism is surveilling Americans through their use of the Internet, and monitoring phones calls regardless of the program's original goal of keeping tabs on 'foreigners'.

Speaking of non-Americans....

Senator Harry Reid (Harried) Democrat of Utah, stated recently that the Immigration and Naturalization  process is broken, and he is working to fix it; He wants to  get the undocumented foreigners legalized and expedited toward citizenship...

Wait a minute?

Prism was started to monitor foreigners who communicate via phones, Internet, and other means of communication.  So, now Harry Reid and the gang of eight want to legalize the 11 million (or is it 20 million) immigrants who are not here legally?  When these undocumented 'foreigners' are given 'resident status' or sworn as citizens they can have 11 million more reasons to spy on the average law abiding American?  This is really a PRISM, because the argument for such an urgent need further complicates things, and a immigration system that is broken winds up intruding more into the personal lives of Americans (using the PRISM rationale); and  on top of everything they are stuck with its cost (Social Security, SSI, Obamacare, etc).

All the scandals of this administration, all the inappropriate use of power, all the surveillance and monitoring of course for safety and security, is just overwhelming me. Yesterday, when they first mentioned that BUSINESSES were targeted for surveillance -  two congresspeople, one woman and one man (their names escape me), said that this surveillance program has been in effect for seven years (it's just routine) and has been extended several times... Then, the flood gates were opened, and it was revealed by the Guardian (a British New Source) that the program was called PRISM, and that the whole population was under surveillance by the NSA and its partner intelligence agencies.  Finally, President Obama took the podium to defend the surveillance programs that his administration uses. Obama justified them with the usual National Security principle.

Again, I am reminded of these words:

When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near. - 5T 451

As our government continues to restrict our civil rights at home, while they pretend to spread democracy around the world, countries that are in essence modern-day feudal societies;
We are losing our liberties day by day; we are intimidated at airports when we fly from Cleaveland to Houston (fondled, our belongings x-rayed, made to go barefoot), yet, undocumented illegal immigrants have their rights violated?  We pretend to defend free speech in Libya and the Arab Spring countries, but we are called intolerant or uncivilized at home?  We are told to be tolerant to offensive activists.

Our President stated in his latest inaugural speech that he will not rest until two men or two women can be married and treated like normal people; The same president (along with his Attorney General Eric Holder) that resolutely refused to enforce the Defense of Marriage Act1.  A president that repealed the Don't Ask Don't Tell policy2 in the Armed Forces?  This president is promoting homosexuality from the highest office in our nation, and we are asked to simply just sit back and take it. While all our phones and computers are monitored and surveilled 24 hours a day?  And the Press and the Media is embedded (strange bedfellows, in bedded) with this administration?  And the economy grew at such a rate, and we created 130,000 jobs?  But, we just have to be patient with this president?  He knows what America is supposed to be?  LGBT trumps Christianity?

Give me a break!

America has never been what Obama or his men and women, think it is.  Their brand of HOPE and CHANGE is nothing of what this Constitutional Protestant Republic was, and has been since it was founded years ago.  That is why the Pilgrims; the Puritans; the Huguenots;  and waves of immigrants from around the world have flocked here; Not for tyranny or "shut up and listen to me, I know what's best".  No, they came seeking Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, and of course freedom of conscience, which no other land (save for a few) has ever afforded its citizens.

As I contemplate the current conditions and how it relates to prophecy, I am not afraid because it all confirms that we have not believed in fables; But, rather in Present Truth.  A truth that foresees a Savior that will soon come in the clouds to redeem His people from all corners of this beautiful planet.  Yes, prophecy is being revealed as we see our nation being transformed into a Banana Republic, a country resembling those places many people left behind to come to the land of the free

When you look through a Prism you see a distorted manifestation of what's in front of you;  And this surveillance program was symbolically named that because it is viewing our nation's citizen through a distorted lens;  They fail to look at the populace through the United States Constitution that FORBIDS the government from encroaching into the lives of its citizens.  This so-called Prism from my perspective has turned our nation into a PRISON, where they monitor a prisoner's every move.  This is now a mental Prison where even these key strokes are monitored...   Now, I can relate to Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.

No, not Prism, but rather PRISON.

We cannot defend freedom abroad by deserting it at home.

Notes:

Both these were instituted during the Bill Clinton Administration:

1 Defense of Marriage Act
 2 Don't Ask Don't Tell

I remember Bill Clinton's first legislation in 1993 (if my memory doesn't fail me) to protect homosexual and lesbian, sexual preference anonymity in the U.S. Armed Forces, and it was the Don't Ask Don't Tell Policy

Both these legislations were Straw Men in my opinion, set up to be later taken down.

In other words - Hegelian Dialectics: Thesis vs Antithesis = Synthesis.

In Conclusion, speaking of National Security: I don't know about you?
But, I don't feel too confident knowing that Susan Rice is now the President's national security adviser.

Wow, I get it... A Rainbow.
Everything is turning up cryptic....  Like Lucis Trust?

Yes, they call it VITRIOL, right? When you refuse to accept some else's point of view and they are running things, right? And you should dare to have a dissenting opinion of all the arbitrary changes that 'they' want to impose, right? You call that DEMOCRACY? I call it despotism!
Your way or the Highway, right... and the MOVING FORWARD AND THE KICKING THE CAN DOWN THE ROAD, rhetoric does not RESONATE with me. I mean, you know...blase blase,,,
