We are very pleased to announce that we will be conducting Country Living Seminars at the Palmetto, FL SDA Church on the weekend of November 29 and 30.
The seminars are scheduled to begin at 2:30 PM on Sabbath and at 9:30 AM on Sunday. Topics include:
Ready or Not - a foundational presentation from the scriptures and inspiration on the rationale of preparation. Are we to prepare physically as well as spiritually? Do we have a part to do? Preparing to be a help and blessing to others in the days ahead.
Principles of Independent Living - graphically demonstrates how vulnerable our society is for even the basic necessities of life. How does one go about becoming less dependent on others for these necessities?
Alternative Energy - we have become extremely dependent on electricity for so many things, even necessities of life. And many technologies we use to do god's work involves electricity. This seminar explains how one can successfully generate and use their own electricity with little or no dependence on the system. Especially important information in light of the energy crisis.
Affordable Country Housing - you might be surprised to find out how affordable it can be to set up a simple homestead. Tips from a builder's point of view on how to save money. Lots of valuable information.
Independent Water Systems - water is one of the most basic necessities. This seminar teaches how one can develop a water systems that is totally independent. Also covers useful features to look for when searching for a piece of land.
Equipping for the Mountains - this seminar focuses on the essential equipment needed for operating in a rural environment. We recommend the best equipment for the money so you don't have to make the costly mistakes that others already have.
