A wink and a nod for Bernanke

A wink and a nod while on Ramadan, I mean vacation.

Today, President Obama ceremonially approved Ben "Ben and Jerry's" Bernanke to head the Federal Reserve for another stint.
What?
The Federal Reserve is neither federal or has a reserve. It's as federal as Federal Express. And it makes money out of thin air.
Besides, the chairman of the Federal Reserve is appointed by the Board of Directors of the conglomerate of banks that make up the Federal Reserve; Or, maybe, by the Head of the Federal Reserve main branch in New York City; The president of the U.S. only signs-off on it as a formality (play act), that's all!
Please, spare us the formalities; we know what's up!

Well, Barack Obama, took some time off from the doldrums of vacations to approve Ben Bernake, the "man who's an expert on The Great Depression".
So, he's experienced in Depressions, huh? Great, he'll work out just fine!
He has his work cut out for him.
Now they can resume the croquet game or the tennis match, or perhaps go sailing to Block Island or deep sea fishing for King Fish near George's Bank.
