Mike Johnson is the 56th Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives and a Republican member of Congress serving Louisiana's Fourth District. ADF Summit 2026 was a gathering of leaders from many different spheres, including law, public policy, media, business, education, and Christian leadership. The inspiring annual event focuses on advancing the right to live and speak the truth for all people, while offering a compelling vision of freedom and human flourishing. This year’s event, which celebrated the historic 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, explored why our founders held certain truths to be self-evident and what we must do to reclaim the spirit of 1776 today. It was organized by the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), the world’s largest legal organization advancing every person’s God-given right to live and speak the truth.
