What the Media Won't Tell You About the Black October Cyberattacks

This week gave us tons of headlines about AI-powered cyberattacks by "rogue AI agents" as major banks restricted third-party AI agents, healthcare systems reported security breaches (whoopsie daisy HIPAA), and the "experts" raised concerns about vulnerabilities in critical infrastructure. The news media has dubbed this hacking attack as "BLACK OCTOBER".

But there's a bigger question on my mind...What happens if a major cyberattack disrupts access to our bank accounts, healthcare records, or the internet itself? What happens when everything goes offline? You can breathe easy because numerous "tabletop exercises" by trusted organizations have been practicing the dry run of just that. How lucky are we?

In this video, we're connecting the dots between recent cybersecurity developments, the UK's emergency preparedness campaign, the World Economic Forum's Cyber Polygon exercises, and SIFMA's Quantum Dawn VIII financial crisis simulation.

So are these just extra preparedness for increasingly sophisticated threats—or something else entirely?

As always, I encourage you to examine the evidence and draw your own conclusions.

Topics covered: AI cyberattacks, banking security, third-party AI agents, Quest Diagnostics, critical infrastructure, UK emergency preparedness, CyberPolygon, Quantum Dawn VIII, digital ID, and financial cybersecurity,
