BEWARE OF ADDITIVES IN YOUR VEGIBURGER

Beware of additives in your Vegiburger

When shopping for vegiburgers; vegetarian meat alternatives such as breakfast links, veggie sausage, ground soy meat, soy cheese, etc. You should read the label closely. Just because you read vegetarian burger on the label, it does not mean that milk, and egg products or derivatives were 'not' used in it.
Many Boca Burger, and Morningstar brand, soy meat products contain milk and egg derivatives.
Also, Galaxy Nutritional Foods: Veggie Slices- Cheddar, American, Swiss; and Veggie Shreds- Mozzarella, Romano Flavor, etc; Cheese Alternatives, contain Casein (a dried skim milk protein), or Enzyme Modified Cheese Flavor (Cultured Milk).
So the next time you go looking for food products at your local supermarket be especially wary of those items you see in the produce area,or the organic section. Keep in mind that you may get more than what you want with your Soy; If you don't read the small print. It might just seem to be labelled "vegetarian" products, but, might contain the same animal by-products that you are trying to avoid ingesting: Meat, Eggs, and Milk. So, if you don't want you meat-alernative soy mixed with animal by-products, make sure you see the word "vegan" on the product, and always read the label meticulously.

A word to the strict vegetarian consumer: Beware!
