Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Proverbs 29:18
Recently, I have noticed that their is a uniformity in preaching styles in what was formerly called "Protestant" churches. It's as if all the church's pastors are preaching form the same "guideline"; They are using the same format: Jesus is Love (and he wants you to be happy). This is no accident; It's a manifestation of the triumph of the Catholic agenda begun during Vatican II proceedings. During that prolonged event the holy see attempted to lay out a subtle plan to infiltrate and neutralize all Reformed Protestant Christian churches by promoting a concentration on vague similarities of all those churches; while discarding all doctrines founded on the Holy Scriptures. The blind are leading the blind...
Henceforth we find the namby-pamby, wishy-washy, ecumenical, counterfeit that passes for sermons, so popular today.

The pulpit is nowhere to hide! It's no place for shenanigans, either.
Stop the silly: Nobody here, but us chickens sermons!
All those years of theology must have taught you that the Lord is coming very soon. .
In this age, just prior to the second coming of Christ in the clouds of heaven, such a work as that of John is to be done. God calls for men who will prepare a people to stand in the great day of the Lord. . . . As a people who believe in Christ's soon appearing, we have a message to bear--"Prepare to meet thy God." Amos 4:12. Our message must be as direct as was the message of John. He rebuked kings for their iniquity. Notwithstanding that his life was imperiled, he did not hesitate to declare God's word. And our work in this age must be done as faithfully.

If it is not followed by a thus saith the Lord; it's not needed at a time such as this.
Let's get back on the script...The Holy Scriptures...The books of Revelation and Daniel, for example..
