Augustine Casino is in its second week of raising money for the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House.

More than $11,000 has been raised so far to provide a home away from home for families of critically ill and injured children receiving treatment at the Loma Linda University Children's Hospital.

A portion of the proceeds from a bank of designated slot machines goes to the charity.

The casino is located at 84-001 Avenue 54.

I'm confused. As the original VegeBurger inventor I watched the very concise "Meet your Meat" video and then at the top of the site see the money raising effort for the "Ronald McDonald House."

I also notice "Too Long in the Sun" in your book list, the opposite of mine which is trying to bring the Sun back into the picture, after being relegated to obscurity for far too long!

It's a funny old world,

Gregory Sams,

Welcome to EndTimes, Sam.

I'mm not sure who invented veggie-burgers; However, I'm sure that Seventh-day Adventist through Loma Linda Foods spearheaded the veggie meats trend. As far as the money going to Ronald McDonald House: I am a vegan, or strict vegetarian, and a Protestant Reformed Christian who doesn't condone gambling, even is it's for a 'good cause'. So, this article is to illustrate how far from the historic standards some have strayed.

On the subject of "Too Long in The Sun": I recommend this book so that everyone can see how so many of the modern-day traditions are derived from pagan sun worship. There are several books (besides the Bible) I believe God uses to illustrate the fallacies of accepted traditions and customs which some think are Christian.

I hope I have shed some light on what may seem as contradictory or confusing. The focus of this blog is to debunk all error (religious or secular), and to give the last warning message from the Lord to humanity.

Thanks for pulling my coat. I look forward to reading your book!

Arsenio,

Maranatha.
