Christian J. Pinto: Los Angeles Fires And The Reconquista
Chris discusses the ongoing controversy surrounding the fires in California, and in Los Angeles in particular. How is it that the authorities in charge of the fire department were so unprepared to address a problem that many people warned about long before it happened? Also discussed is the strong, historic presence of the Jesuit Order in Los Angeles, along with the concept of the "Reconquista" of certain U.S. territory by Mexico. The desire to reclaim states like Texas, California and New Mexico (to name only a few) is said to be part of a unified "Chicano" movement, that is considered a hidden agenda by some. We present documentation to support the argument, and review Isaiah chapter one for how it may pertain to what's happening in California.
