Televangelists Should Be Held Accountable, Too
Sen. Charles Grassley is exactly right to question some nonprofit televangelists. In November, he sent six "media-based ministries" a letter asking about everything from details on executive compensation to employment contracts to the list of vehicles purchased or leased. His questions are a follow-up to complaints from the public and news coverage about the organizations' practices.
