View from the observation deck of Dubai's Burj Khalifa tower. An elevator became stuck there recently, trapping 15 people, according to the Associated Press.
Trapped 124 floors above the ground, a group of visitors stuck in an elevator of the massive Dubai skyscraper may have sparked the sudden closure of the world’s tallest building just a month after it opened.
Emaar Properties, the 160-story building’s developer, is keeping mum on the incident, which took place two days before the Burj Khalifa tower was shut down. But witnesses to terrifying ordeal aren't staying quiet.
