An adult conversation?

Recently I've been amazed at the amount of ridiculous statements coming from the propaganda matrix, or what's better known as the powers that be. I've heard all types of childish expressions coming from the White House and from the spin masters at different levels of the military industrial congressional complex.

Here are a few of the infantile analogies we've heard disguised as news:
<ul>
  • We need to have an adult conversation.
  • Kicking the can down the road.
  • The low hanging fruit.
  • Spiking the football.
What are these guys on? Kool-Aid, maybe?

I thought that Tricks were for kids:

On Monday, May 16, 2011, Ali Khan (does this remind anyone of the IMF's Dominique Strauss - Kahn?) of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), wrote a prank article on their official blog that was supposed to prepare the public for a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE *.

Now who are these arrested development 'cases' playing these dirty little tricks on us ADULTS? And why would they "kid" around with a serious subject as Disaster Preparedness?

This has got to be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

I remember playing practical jokes and acting silly when I was young, but, that was a long time ago. However, I can see that Disney World and Nintendo have transformed our world into one big Romper Room. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood!

...Won't you be my neighbor?

Yep, you've got it nailed, my brother.

They are, and have been for many years now, dumbing it down (and many of them are, in fact, really DUMB lol) - playing it to the lowest common denominator.

Of course, somewhere in their nauseating elitist arrogance, they may actually be thinking they are doing us common folk a big favor by talking down to us so that we might be able to comprehend their awesome intellect, but in reality, most of the people I know, even the ones who aren't college degree level, are far more intelligent than most members of Congress that I've seen and met.

And most of the ordinary people I speak of also possess a great deal of that very rare thing mislabeled as "common sense", which you won't find in even 1 out of 10 elected officials or mass media scumbags.

And most importantly of all in my opinion, these regular people that make our world work, and hold together the very fabric of our mostly productive and happy society, show more kindness, charity, compassion and understanding for the plight of those in need - both here at home and around the world - than nearly any of the power and money hungry sociopaths who call themselves "elected officials" in recent times.

Did I get your point, or miss it entirely?? lol

Peace to you, and have a blessed Sabbath upcoming.

p.s. And I think we're all still going to be here after Saturday's false prophetic "rapture" nonsense passes quietly.

What part of "no man will know the day or the hour" and "He will come as a thief in the night" do you think these people cannot seem to grasp??? :)
