Who is ...THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH?

God's Church is a chaste Woman, a virgin awaiting her Bridegroom Jesus Christ.

The Bible mentions another Woman which is the opposite of His Church; It's a pompous, persecuting church that has since its beginning attempted to replace the Church of God. This church is an unfaithful Woman that has denied the Lord's authority by imposing her will above His will. She has fornicated (formed alliances) with the kings of the world to impose her supremacy disregarding the Lord's divine sovereignty.

The Whore of Babylon, the Harlot, the Woman that rides the Scarlet Beast are different names for the same counterfeit religious system: The Babylonian religion. Babylon was known to borrow customs from the cultures that it conquered in order to bring them under her influence; It was a hybrid religion with elements of all types of doctrines and rituals. Here lies the reason why the Bible calls her a Harlot, a adulteress Woman. This system in its modern form is exemplified by the Church of Rome, and her daughters (those churches that have broken away from her, yet, keep her doctrines of Sunday worship and immortality of the soul) the Apostate Christian Churches.

Here are a few Bible verses that describe this Babylonish whore or harlot, and how she leads to eternal destruction. She is a ditch or pit connected to the pits of hell. Brethren, be ye not blind, and allow yourselves to fall into, or allow others to drag you into this pit of perdition.

6And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

7And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

8The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

9And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

10And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

11And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

12And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

18And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
