Finally, President Bush was trying to sell the Palestinian State on the basis of "Peace and Security (Safety").
Listen to his excerpt:
"We meet to lay the foundation for the establishment of a new nation -- a democratic Palestinian state that will live side by side with Israel in peace and security." (NEWS BRIEF: "President Bush Attends Annapolis Conference", White House, November 27, 2007)
People who are Biblically literate will immediately sit up to take notice, for they will remember the prophetic words of the Apostle Paul:
"... you yourselves know perfectly well that the day of the return of the Lord will come as unexpectedly and suddenly as a thief in the night. When people are saying, All is well and secure, and, There is peace and safety, then in a moment unforeseen destruction (ruin and death) will come upon them as suddenly as labor pains come upon a woman with child; and they shall by no means escape, for there will be no escape." (2 Thessalonians 5:2-3; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary)
Annapolis will be recorded in the brief history books the world has left as one of the most monumentally important events in a very long time. The agreements were pre-decided, just as we predicted, and now the impetus for a Palestinian State will prove to be unstoppable toward the pre-determined State. Annapolis laid the requisite groundwork.
